| ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ In an act of rebellion, Iris has re-painted the pink parts her room a pale green that contrasts greatly with the rest of the cabin. An accurate assumption would also be that she did this in order to irritate any future cabin leaders who need to use her room. The rest of the furniture in her room is also a green or white in order to match the walls. She chose to decorate her room in a simple manner, prioritizing function over style - although she, personally, finds beauty in simplicity. One word to describe her room would be: neat. Iris has a wide array of books lined up in alphabetical order on her shelves. Her bed is always made and her desk is relatively clutter-free due to the fact that Iris enjoys an orderly and clean workspace and livingspace.
Her room has a grand total of one window, and it lets in a moderate amount of lighting. The only times her curtains will not be drawn are when she is reading or working or something that requires a well-lit environment. Iris has hung up two pictures on the walls of her room, one being a watercolour landscape that she painted herself, the other being one of Claude Monet's paintings. Her closet is the size of a regular closet, unlike some of the enormous walk-in, almost trailer-like closets that some of her siblings have. On top of her dresser is a medium-sized framed photo of her father and herself and a slightly smaller framed photo of her father with someone who she had always guessed to be her mother, although the sun is shining in the camera lens and blocks the face of the woman.
On her door, Iris has hung up a plain paper sign that has an arrow pointing in the direction of Jonathon's door. Underneath the arrow, neatly written letters spelled out: His door is always open. Iris' door is often locked, but she is likely to answer to anyone who knocks on her door - despite the fact that the sign on her door encourages others to knock on Jonathon's door instead. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ | |
