| Pushing away the last few branches of the strawberry bushes from the path, Kain led the girl past a group of other campers, weaving through them effortlessly, to a huge farmhouse-like building. Stepping up onto the deck, he grabbed her attention once more. "This," he said, "is the Big House. Here is where the cabin councellors hold meetings, other campers get quests, and you'll meet our camp directors. Children of the minor - umm, maybe I'll just bring you inside..."
He opened the door and started to take a step inside, but paused suddenly and turned back to look at the - still unnamed, dang it - camper. "By the way," he smirked, winking, "Mr. D isn't the most pleasant - uh, person - you'll ever meet."

| The Big House was big. Obviously, but Listen hadn't expected something like this at a camp. Her idea of a camp was cute little cabins, some old canoes, and peanut butter in an enemy's sleeping bag. The Big House was out of place in her little fantasy.
And what's with Boy's smug wink? Mr. D... on the Facebook chat she had, for lack of a better word, hacked, a Mr. D had been mentioned, next to a few comments on his attitude and a frowny face. Well, she would ignore anything she didn't like. Wouldn't want to get kicked out of her safe haven, now.
"Thanks for the warning."
((Sorry this took awhile. My computer tried to commit suicide.))

| "No problem." He walked inside, holding the door for the other to enter after him. "Besides, I'm pretty sure that the first time I met him, he wasn't very... eh, good company, for lack of a better word. I know he wasn't when I came back."
((It's okay. I've hijacked my mum's computer because mine did commit suicide.))

| Listen did her little snot-laugh and walked in the door, pulling it shut behind her. "I'll probably say something that will get me kicked out. Mouth, here comes my foot." She said as she poked her head into a couple rooms, and found Mr. D's office.
((Neither of us can RP him, so I guess I'll skip ahead...))
She was on the porch, (The Big Porch?) as if the walls inside would suffocate her as the wrapped her head around what she had heard. "Would it make life crazier if I gave up and went crazy?" She wondered aloud.
((So sorry about your loss. ))

| "You mean you're not already?" Kain asked from his place against the wall. He took a few languid steps toward her, stretching his arms above his head. "So, now that I've introduced you to Mr. D and you've got a run-down of how the camp works, where do you want to go?"
((He was a good computer. ;-; WHY MUST THE GOOD DIE YOUNG?))

| "Oh, I don't know, everywhere! I'm at a camp for godlings. Demigods. Magic. Where wouldn't I want to go?" Listen practically yelled. She was normally much more patient, but being told you're half god kind of ruins your mood. It was hard to believe,-that was an understatement, it was almost impossible to believe- but it couldn't be a trick. "Sorry."
((My laptop seems to want to find out. Meet you at the Cabin Courtyard?))
