Elene stood off to the side in her beautiful tight black dress that showed off her figure well, and a mask that covered her eyes. She was happy because costume parties are the only time people don't look at her scars twice. They just think it's part of the costume. So there she stood, alone at the edge of the dance floor, wishing someone would come over and ask her to dance, or even talk to her for that matter.
