Finally! {FERGZ}

I walk around in the woods, and it feels nice not to have a cast on my leg. Being able to use both legs again without any support of my crutches. It was a nice feeling. I took in a breath of fresh air, and leand up against a tree, when I heard someone walking behind me. "Hey there." I said.

I walked around in the woods to sort of catch some air after being in the forge for so long. The fire, smoke, and lack of oxygen got to you after a while. I decided to go for a walk in the woods where it was full of wildlife and trees and the occasional cool breeze. As I walked around, I heard someone speak to the front-left of me whom I hadn't noticed before. "Oh, hello."

I smiled at the girl. "I'm Jake, Jake Davidson." I say, holding out my hand. "Son of Apollo at your service. And you are...?" I tell her.

"Sammy, well technically it's Samantha, but I go by Sammy or Sam. But yeah, Sammy, daughter of Hepaestus." I said to him. "What are you doing in the woods? I asked him curious. I hoped he didn't think I was being nosy.

"Well, during the battle the camp had a few weeks back, I broke my leg. It was a few day's ago when I finally got my cast off, so I wanted to walk around on my leg without having to support it." I tell Sammy.

~As I look in your list of characters, I realize that your one character's name is Caitlyn or 'Cat' which is weird because I have a friend who'se name is Caitlyn, but goes by Cat.~

"Really? Well, I'm glad your leg's all healed up." I said to him. "That battle was pretty bad. A lot of demigods died and even more were wounded. But, all the demigods fought bravely and many of them survived." I said.

~Lol, really?! How ironic and funny is that?! xD~

~Yea, she was over at my house on friday, and we stayd up 'till 4:30 watching anime.~

I nod. " Yea, my brother and I being one of them." I tell her. The battel was rough, and Thankfully, Alissa wasn't there during the battle.

My head still felt light from the exhaustian and time spent in the forge. My hand went up to my head and rubbed the side of it. "Ow," I complained. "I've really got to stop spending so much time in the forge." my voice sounded softer and more airy than usual and my site was starting to dot itself with stars.

I give a small laugh. "If you let me take you over to the infermery, I could fix the pain. I'm pretty good at healing myself." I tell her.

"Nah, I'm...I''me fine," I said stumbling over my words. "But thanks any way," I tried to walk away, but almost fell flat on my face into the underbrush. "You know what, maybe I should go to the infirmery, but just for a little while."

I go over to Sammy and help her up. "Yea, that probobly is a good idea." I tell her. "Don't worry, I'm pretty good."

"Thanks Jake." I said to him as I got up. As I stood up, my head spun and my vision darkened. 'This makes no sense," I said grogilly. "I was fine walking in the forest and stuff, now my head hurts like crazy."

I shrug, and then laugh. "That's the weird thing about being sick, you feel fine, and then two seconds later, you'r feeling funny." I laugh.

"Huh, I guess you're right," I said. My head throbbed. "I've been in the forges all day. This must've happened from the lack of oxygen from the fires." I concluded, thinking it a pretty logical explanation.

I nod. I may not be smart when it comes to things, but I was good when it came to health and medicine. "Yea, if there's a lot of fire's, there should be a fan to circulate the air. They do that in pizza store's too." I say.

~The fan thing is true, my uncle worked for a pizza joint and he almost died from lack of oxygen because they forgot to turn the fan on~

"That's a good idea for the forges. Maybe a couple of fans and a ventilation system. You know, to prevent this from happening to someone else. Others may not be fortunate enough to run into a child of Apollo" I said to him.

~Oh my gosh. That's horrible! I'm glad he was okay.~

I nod, and laugh at the coinsidence. "Yea, but thats not up to me. I'm not the buildy type, I'd prefere to stay outside." I tell her.

"Eh, I'm more of a build-it, fix-it kind of girl myself. Comes in handy sometimes." I said. "Other than that, I'll sometimes enjoy the outside weather. Depends on if it's not too humid though. If there is anything I hate about the summertime, it's humidity." I said, meaning every word. "You can't really do much when it's humid."

I nodded, even though I was one who liked the heat more than the cold, I coudn't stand humidity. "Yea, humidity makes everything so...sticky." I said, and it was true. Humidity was one thing that I really hated.

"Oh, I know it! And it can be eighty degrees out, which is fine, but if it's humid out? Psh, forget it. That's wwhen you run inside to the air-conditioner for cover. The sad part is that in southern places like Texas, Arizona, and all them down there, there's almost no humidity. It's all dry. It's not fair." I said, chuckling a bit.

I nodd again. "Let's be glad that they didn't put Camp Half-Blood there. We'd all be dying of heat." I told Sam, and I rememberd all the summers living with my mom, not having air conditioning.

"Oh, thank Zeus yes. Imagine trying to train in over a hundred and something degrees down there. I swear, I'd melt in my armor right then and there. And all the children of Dionysus would be so disheartened 'cause you can't grow any grapevines down there in that kind of heat."

I laugh. "You're pretty funny, you know that?" I laughed. "I don't think that even I could stay in that heat." I told her.

"Aww, thanks. You're pretty fun to talk to yourself, to tell you the truth." I said to. I realized then that my head didn't hurt anymore. "You know, my headache went away in the midst of talking to you. Imagine that." I mused.

I smiled. "Cool, glad to hear it. Somtimes, you just need a little time to feel better." I said, still smiling. It was a good thing that Sammy's head had stopped hurting. I may be good at healing, but it takes a lot of my energy. I go back and recall the night when I had to help my brother, half brother, and their friend and how sick and tierd I had felt afterwords.
