"Thanks...." I said, trailing off. I had thought I was alone. I could sing, sure, but someone had actually heard me now. The only otehr people who'd ever heard me sing were Ebony, Feather, and Phoenix.

"M-misty..." I said nervously. "Nice to meet you, Dylan."

"I'm just not used to people listening when I'm singing..." I trailed off. "I'm used to singing alone when I'm at home. But I can't go back rigth now. Someday I will, though," I said.

"Aphrodite. I am cursed with annoying siblings who love makeup, but the up side is that I don't have to listen to them much," I said.

I laughed."Yeah,well,I have to listen to my siblings sing all day in the apollo cabin.Then they fight over who gets to flirt with the new girl.Fights frequently break out over that."

"My friend's in the Apollo cabin. Maybe you know her? Her name's Ebony," I said. "Really? It's like that? Wow. I just ignore my siblings when they're annoying me. I kind of just... Blank them out. It's rare that I have soemone I can't blank out. For my friends, it's like that - I can't blank them out at all," I said. "Have you ever felt like that?"

"Sometimes.And it is kinda hard to ignore five amps set on full blast."I walked over to a electric guitar and picked it up. I busted out a wicked guitar solo from "Through the Fire and the Flames" by Dragonforce.

"Nice," I said. I walked over to a piano. I played the piano version of Fireflies by Owl City, singing along.
