Finished Cabins: Just a Suggestion

Well, I wanted a name meaning nice or something, and couldn't think of anything xD Not, healing, but something along the lines of, "Good".

Yeah, I understand what your talking about categorizing abilities into helpful, but I don't think that it is a good name for it. Plus, some abilities are very ambiguous. They can fall into helpful and many other categories, like children of Hecate.

Oops, I didn't see the other post, what about Light or Benevolent,Support, or Blessing. Something along those lines.

why not healing Music, there are several gods and goddesses that fall into that cabin,

Well, how about a neutral cabin? War, Healing, Elemental, and Neutral cabins. If we really need a Love cabin, toss in a Passion cabin.

Anyways There are probably going to end up being like 10 Categories before this is settled. :p

Haha, lets try to keep it at a max of 5. With that number, we can look at our options, and make the categories vague (i.e., a "Magic Cabin", only really containing Hectate((sp?)) kids).

I agree for the Minimum number we can think of but also remember we don't have to build them all.

i think we need to include as many kids, into the cabins, so vague would be beter, and neutral doesnt really desribe those gods, more like other cabin

Hmm, most would fit in with nature, I believe.

What about kids of Melinoe, goddess of ghosts. What about a category of vitality. That could include many different aspects of abilities.

Other :p If not, Health. Technically, you must die to be a ghost, which happens from old age(bad health), bad health itself, diseases, poisoned, etc. Purtty much, related to health[:

interesting idea with that one, elemental wouldnt be considered nature, Naturic would be a different cabin.

Nature = Earth = Elemental

with some stretching, i think Naturic should be its own cabin.

Before the disscussion goes any further, I would like to point out my earlier opinion. I still believe it is a good idea to build new cabins and have OC characters, but I also still think that the site should be changed to Post Last Olympian if we add the other changes. Having it as an alternate setting from the books can open all sorts of issues.

Some of the major issues I believe will occur follow as:

1. Admins/mods would not be able to put a limit on the number of children a god/goddess can have. Being an alternate setting, someone could argue that the pact of the Big three was never made, or the all had a lot of kids anyways.

2. Second, admins/mods will not be able to stop impossible children from occurring. Children of Kronos, Artimis, Gaia, Pan, Chaos, and other deities will start popping up, and the leaders of the site would not be able to effectively argue against why they can't be there. At least not without developing more rules against it.

3. Another problem is controlling and limiting abilities. It could not effectively be why some abilities could not be under one god/goddess. For instance, I think there was some one who had a Child of Poseidon using ice attacks. If I remember correctly, Children of Poseidon can't control or generate ice, only liquid water.
