Daniel was so excited to see Cress. He felt like he hadn't seen her in forever. He missed her so much. He had been so busy lately at the infirmary, he barely had any time to do anything else other than eat and sleep. He was learning how to heal more cuts, wounds, and sicknesses which was great. He didn't feel completely useless anymore. There were more talented people in the Apollo cabin, but at least he could help out.
Although he loved the infirmary and it was basically his life because of his powers, Cress was more important. Gods he loved her so much. She was the only person that could brighten up his worst days and could tell anything to. If only his mom was still alive. He knew she'd love him as much as he did. The few memories he had with his mom were filled with laughter and happiness. He could remember her very faintly due to his five year old mind at the time. Curly brown hair with fair skin and turquoise eyes like him. He wondered what things sons and mothers did together. Did they watch movies together? Didn't they fight every now and then? Daniel could never imagine fighting with his mother. Maybe that was because if he did get just one day with his mother, he wouldn't even think about fighting with her.
Daniel was waiting on the edge of camp for Cress. The sun was shining brightly with a few white, puffy clouds to dot the sky. There was a slight breeze but not chilly enough to have to wear a jacket. He had a pair of jeans, a decent pair of sneakers, and a dark blue t-shirt. He figured they could go off campus for a while. Last time they went off campus hadn't been so successful, but he didn't want to live in fear. Plus, Sutton had taught him a few new moves, and he'd been practicing more. A few minutes later, he saw a familiar blonde walking towards him. When she was a few steps away from him, he couldn't help but notice a guy checking out Cress in the distance. He cupped Cress's face and gave her a quick kiss on the lips before pulling away and sticking his hands in his pockets. "Hey blondie." He said with his famous, mischieveous smile.
