History: Clarissa Vance was beautiful. Drop-dead gorgeous. People either wanted to be her or date her. Greek gods were like-minded. She became significantly less famous after she was fired from a huge magazine. That was where Zeus came in. He promised her he could fix everything. Needless to say, that's not what happened.

They were happy for awhile, though. Clarissa was overjoyed when she found out she was pregnant with Dakota. Zeus, however, knew that his wife would not be happy, and fled. Dakota grew up in a tiny apartment in New York. She watched man after man leave her mother, saying she was too out of control, and she had a child. Clarissa eventually killed herself via drug overdose when Dakota was 6.

After that, Dakota spent many years in the foster system. She was almost always given back immediately, because people would say she was too quiet, and she scared them. It was a major blow to her self-esteem. But when she was eleven, she was on a walk in the woods when she was attacked by a hellhound. It left claw marks on her arms and stomach that faded, but never really healed. A satyr found her about a half-hhoir afted that, and she woke up in the camp imfirmary.

Personality: Dakota isn't very quiet anymore. She is outgoing, but very mysterious. She refuses to tell anyone what happened to her mother, or her mother's name, as she was rather famous. She is very temperamental, and it doesn't take much to provoke her. She holds grudges for longer than she should. She tries to be genuinely nice to people, but she has a hard time making friends.
Fatal Flaw: Her temper, mixed with the fact that she holds grudges for too long.
Likes: Thunderstorms, painting, using her powers
Dislikes: Suicide, being alone, when people disike her right off the bat.

Physical Description: One might say Dakota is pretty. She has long, wavy, brownish-blonde hair. Her eyes are hazel. She tries to look cheerful, but always looks a little haunted. She has scars on her arms and stomach from a hellhound attack. She likes wearing t-shirts, blazers, jeans, and boots. She believes makeup is useless, and tries not to wear it.

History: Nobody could really figure out why the Greek goddess of beauty liked Damien so much. Perhaps it was his utter confidence, as it made him seem more than his average looks. But they enjoyed each other's company, she disappeared one day, and Damien thought that was the end of it. But one late February evening, he heard his doorbell ring, and there was Aphrodite standing there with a baby in her arms. She handed him a letter and the child, gave a sympathetic glance, them disappeared.

He believed his child needed a mother. It took him awhile, but he found a woman who Katalin loved as much as he did. They were married, and for awhile they were happy. About two years after they married, Kat's sister Celia was born. But then came the diagnosis. Elizabeth Scott had brain cancer. It took her about a year to pass away. It was never really the same after that, and Damien became fiercely protective of his two daughters.

It was looking through a box of old stuff that Kat realized who she was. She'd been looking through some of her stepmom's old stuff, because she was interested in fashion. Instead she found an old, crumpled-up letter. She found out about the dangers of being herself, and demanded to go to camp. It took awhile, but finally her father gave in.

Personality: Katalin is one of the most loving people you will ever meet. She is pansexual. She is very flirty, and can be almost seductive when she wants to be. She adores fashion, and is always experimenting with new things. She tries not to really  too protective of people, because she doesn't want to become like her father. She can easily make friends, but usually not for long. Kat also has kind of low self-esteem. She is ashamed because she has dated many people, she's never really had a real relationship.
