I wake up gasping, clutching at everything just to breath. Strange unfamiliar faces dash all around me. Where am I? What is happening? One of the men pinned my shoulders to the bed. How could these people be friendly? I'm just now exiting my state of confusion to the point of understanding words. The man holding me down was riddling me with questions. Naturally I answer them. "My name is Theo Davis. The year is 2012. My birthday is March twenty third. " The man seemed satisfied with himself and released me. He begins telling me all these things I should know. Like how about a month ago I was found outside camp, in a complete coma. I was slowly gaining everything back. The climbing wall, the deal I made, moving out, and living with Heather for... Oh gods. "Where's Heather? "I ask calmly at first, slowly i became more aggressive until I was throwing myself off the bed to look for her. The man tries to hold me down, but I immediately resist and throw him into the nearest wall "Heather? Heather?" I look between each and every curtain, fighting off every doctor, nurse or whoever else tried to pull me back. She was gone. Heather wasn't in the infirmary. "I have to find her." I say, making a beeline for the door. It didn't take long for the medical professionals to figure out what I was doing. Apparently they didn't want me leaving, cause shortly after I feel a pinch in my neck. Soon after I was on my knees fighting to stay awake. The idiots drugged me, was the only thing going through my mind. Slowly I fade away into the sleep they wanted me in.

I open my eyes to find the only light to come from the light bulbs. it must be night, I tell myself. I attempt to stand up; maybe find someone to help me, but instead my legs put me back on the bed. Instead I called. Not for Heather this time. Just for anyone. Anyone who would talk to me.

"Careful! You're not all healed up enough to walk around too much, yet." As he focused, he would see, sitting next to the bed, was a tan skinned, freckle faced teen. Her strangely purple eyes were big, and a smile spread wide across her face. Redish brown hair was pulled back in a poof of a ponytail. She had a book in her lap, Harry Potter from the looks of it. "Daddy told me to come keep an eye on you. You were causing a biiiiig ruckus with the fighting the doctors and being loud and stuff. I'm Brianna, by the way. Brianna Whyte! We're half siblings!"

I shake my head in disbelief. I was disappointed, but not shocked. It sounded just like dad. "Cut the half sibling crap. I am you brother; you are my sister. Us Dionysus kids don't get enough credit for only half of us to be related."It took a large amount of my energy, but I pushed my self into a sitting position. Everything was a blurred mesh. I assumed it was from the drug. Apparently I made a big ruckus. Next time the idiots should get out of my way."I'm Theo in case you didn't know."

"We get as much credit as we take for ourselves~!" Brianna smiled kindly, rocking toe to heel, her hands clasped behind her back. Her big purple eyes looked over him curiously. "I don't think you're supposed to be getting out of bed yet. You're still wooooozy." she stepped forward, moving to help him how she could. "How do you feel?" she asked, worried.

"I'm fine physically speaking. When you come to how I feel, I'm confused as Hades." I smile trying to hide the real pain that I had. At this point I was kind of worried that the blurring might not be from the drug, but from whatever I did to fall into the coma. I knew that was just the pointless fear talking but that didn't change anything. "Well, how long have you been in camp?"

"What's confusing you?" Brianna asked, moving to try and get her brother to sit back down, laying a hand gently on his chest. "I've been here a little over a year. I signed up to stay all year this year cause my mom and dad are having a baby, so I thought it best I stay out of their hair while mom's pregnant. Don't wanna lead monsters to them!" Smiling brightly, she sat down on the bed. Tucking her knees to her chest, he would notice she was barefoot. "So. What's going on in your brain?"

"I wake up in a coma, at Camp Half Blood, which by the way, definetly isn't where I passed out, only so I could remember everything, which includes the girl that I ran off with. She's not here and I have a strange feeling you won't let me get up and go search for her." I was getting a little agitated now that I put it all in words. Heather was gone, and she was the first person that I actually connected with. I take a few deep breaths. I was so mad I couldn't see straight, but I couldn't do that in the first place. "Now what are you thinking?"

"I think if you tried to go out there now to search, you'd probably get killed." Brianna looked at him, blinking. Her eyes were large and round, much like she was surprised or excited all the time. "When you're a demigod, you have to be careful. Most monsters aren't about to just hand you a doughnut and let you go on your way. Let's start from the beginning. Who's Heather?" she asked, tilting her head.

"Oh gods..." I say trying to think back. Heather... Heather... "Thanatos. She's a daughter of Thanatos. We were both rejects. We met at the climbing wall, and we instantly hit it off. It hurt to think back, but I managed it. The headache was getting worse. "We decided to try and live out in the real world. This is where the hard part came. It was like looking through wax paper from that point on. It caused more pressure against my head. I close my eyes to try and remember the rest "Shady motel... smelly room... boiling lemon juice... Fencing lessons. Mac and cheese... My eyes shoot open. Why was it so hard to remember? I shake my head in disappointment. "That's it. I can't remember anymore."

"How're you rejects?" Brianna asked, trying an easier subject for his mind. Brianna herself was what someone might call a 'Reject'. The daughter of an undesirable god, weird, the list could go on. Pushing her hair out of her eyes, she peeked at him around her knees. "The real world isn't safe. Not until you've trained. And even then..." She looked down at her bare toes. "Well... You have to keep your head high and keep trying."

"All Dionysus kids are rejects in some way." I say smiling. I listen to her a little more, and she couldn't be more right. Yeah I guess you're right." I say nodding my head. It would kill me that I didn't know what had put me out like that. I had to get over that though. I take a quick sip of the glass of water beside my bed. "So are they doing their winter festival again this year?" I ask at a pitiful attempt for small talk.

"I dunno! I'm going to ask Max to come with me if they are! He's my best friend. He doesn't talk." Brianna smiled brightly, stretching her legs out. "Only trouble is, I'll have to wear shoes. Maybe there'll be a dance!" Getting up, his sister would grab his glass and dump the water, giving him grape juice instead. "Here! No self respecting child of Dionysus should be without their grapes!" She chimed, sitting back down. He would notice she had on a necklace with an amethyst grape design.

At first her sudden out burst frightend me, but I soon came to like it. She's as crazy as I am! I tell my self."Thanks." I say smiling. "Nice necklace." Ah. More small talk. It wouldn't be to long before the drug would wear off and I'd get out of here. Wither that healers wanted me to or not.

Brianna smiled brightly, passing him the glass. "It'll make you feel better. Promise. Grapes have lots of vitamins and antioxidants!" Sitting back down on the bed, she looked up at him. "Thanks! It was a gift from my mom when I left to come to Camp Half Blood. So, how do you feel?" Reaching over, she placed one of her small, calloused hands on his forehead

I smile before sweeping her hand away."I feel fine."I tell her. To prove it to myself more than anything else, I move my feet over the side of the bed and stand up. I felt a little shaky at first, but with the walls as support, I quickly re-learned to walk. I was still in my jeans from this morning, but my shirt was a little different. It was still my shirt. best I could assume was my old one was too tattered to wear so someone simply raided my drawers. "Let's bounce!" I say headed towards the door.

It's gonna take a lot to take me away from you
There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do

The caramel haired girl blinked as he walked towards the door. Oh dear. What if daddy got mad cause she let him leave? But, he said he was ok, so...it was ok right? She would look a little worried for a moment, but nodded. "Okay. Lets go to the cabin." She smiled at him, following him out.
