"HELP!" A shriek rang out through the murky, wet corridor. That scream cut through the mist and the wetness. It was a scream of just pure fear. Suddenly a girl stumbled on through the thinning hallway, tears streaming down her dirtied face. On her back was a broken bow, the string seeming to have been seared in half with fire. Along the side of her shirt, the cloth was ripped and the edges tinged with wet redness--blood, most likely. Kacey's eyes were wild with fear as she glanced backwards again, her eyes seeming to grow even wider at the impending wall of smoke. Suddenly, the Laby's walls began to change as she moved deeper into the maze. The walls shifted from a dank, rustic, murky wine cellar to a dark, misty forest filled with smoke and orange flames jumping about. Kacey put her head down and just sprinted forwards, hardly watching her feet. However, this came back to bite her about half a mile later while she was still running through the earthy labyrinth. Kacey's foot suddenly snagged on an outstretched root, pulling her entire body down hard on the ground. She felt something snap and something else split, but she was too full of fear to even register the pain. The only thing she could focus on was the slight fact that there was something thundering behind her. Kacey let out a half-scream, half-sob as the thing came to a screeching halt. "Please!" She screamed, her voice breaking. Kacey cowered backwards, her elbows scraping against the ground. "Please... god, no!" She sobbed. "HELP!"
