Michael walked into the stables wearing a pair of leather cowboy boots, jeans and a white t-shirt. He was looking for his pegasus, Festus. He was a black stallion with a black 14 foot wingspan and dark brown eyes. He was one of the friendliest pegasi, but he was very, VERY picky on who rode him.
He leaned onto the fence and let out a quick two-note whistle that he always used to call Festus. It was four loud notes when it was an emergency. He peered into the corral and saw his pegasus galloping toward him. "Heeeey Festus! How they treating you, guy?" Festus spread out his wings and let out a neigh. Michael could practically hear him asking for sugar cubes, as he always does when he comes. He chuckled and dug in his pocket for the three cubes, which he gave to Festus on the palm of his hand. He slipped under the rail as his pegasus ate the sugar. Standing by his neck, he vaulted onto Festus' back.
