Mitchell ran a hand through his short, dark and spikey hair, his Nikes were crunching against the pebbles beneath him. He had one had stuffed in the pockets of his chinos, on his upper body he was wearing a luberjack style shirt, not really needing a thick layer to be warm as it was almost Spring anyway.

Mitchell's bright green eyes lit up even more as a group of Aphrodite boys passed him. Mitchell turned, watching them until they were out if sight before sighing, wishing his love life could be a bit more...existant. There weren't as many gay guys at camp as one would expect.

With both earbuds in and his iPod turned up to full, Mitchell stopped when his current favourite song came on. He danced around, not feeling embaressed in the least as he rocked out to Green Day, waiting for his best friend.

Nicole just couldn't take it anymore. She was walking to the lake, a bottle of pills in her hand. Nicole didn't want Mitch to see her do this or even be here, but he left Nicole no choice. Nicole just couldn't take it anymore. Nicole had been bullied past her point. Nicole wanted to cry, but brushed the tears away quickly. Before anyone could see or do anything, Nicole swallowed a handful of pills. After she had finished, she realized how stupid that was. Nicole gagged and stumbled to the lake, knocking someone down.

Mitchell, who had been in the middle of shredding his air-guitar, his eyes closed and expression filled with concentration, was shocked when someone barrelled into him. He fell onto the pebbles, the winnd getting knocked out of him and he glared at the person lying ontop of him. Then he realised it was Nicole.

His face broke into a cheeky grin before he knew that something was wrong with her. He sat up quickly, leaving her onto his lap as he brushed the hair from her face, his green eyes turning to sheer panic. "Nicole?! What's wrong?!" He asked her, yelling. Without thinking, he checked her arms, finding no new cuts.

Mitchell looked back up at Nicole's face, frowning as be realised she had something in her mouth. Grabbing both of her cheeks roughly in one hand - what? It wasn't as if they were going out or anyting. He didn't hhsve to be gentle - and squeezed at her mouth, forcing a small, white object to fall into his palm.

"Ew. It's covered in your spit." Mitchell complained before bringing it closer to his eyes, finally seeing what it was. "Nicole! Spit them out!" He yelled at her, shoving his hand into her mouth to pull out more, forgetting that his hand was going to be covered in her girl germs once he was done.

Nicole's eyes glazed over as Mitch tried to take out the pills. Nicole jerked away and gagged again, getting all the pills out. Nicole could not believe she had just done that. Nicole was shaking as she stepped a few feet back, bumping into Mitch again. Nicole just didnt feel like herself anymore. Nicole fell to the ground feeling weak and exhausted.

"Sorry," was all Nicole managed to say before she gagged again, now getting all the pills out.

Mitchell crouched down besides Nicole, careful not to touch the pile of ...pills on the ground and put an arm around her, pulling her up against him into hug. He rubbed her back soothingly, resting his chin on the top of her brown hair.

Mitchell pulled away slightly to look her in the eyes. He frowned at her, shaking his head. His greeen eyes were still filled with concern. "Nicole. You promised not to do something like this to yourself. Harming of any sort. Not just cutting." He told her, his English accent sounding thicker then usual due to stress. "Why did you do it?" He murmmered curiously.

Nicole buried her head in Mitch's chest, taking deep breaths to calm herself. Then, Nicole just broke down crying. They weren't any normal cries either. They were gasping, weezing, short breath cries that hurt Nicole's chest.

"I just can't take it anymore. The bullying doesn't stop," Nicole sobbed, feeling so alone in her life. Nicole cried more, tears rolling down her cheeks.

Mitchell sighed, pulling Nicole tight against him again in a hug, letting her cry into him. He felt a bit like he had when he used to date girls before, well, the revelation. He knew how guys thought. It was all; comfort girl, kiss girl, pretend to be intrested in girl, kiss girl...etc, etc...

Thats why what he and Nicole had was special. He wasn't like that. Nicole was his best friend. His sister from another mister. He loved her to pieces so it broke his heart to see her this sad.

"You have to ignore them all. You are your own person, and no-one has the right to judge you. If it helps, I love you. And for a British person to love you. Well, that is worth a hundred Americans." Mitchell joked, trying to cheer her up again.

Nicole smiled lightly when Mitch said that. Nicole took a deep breathe to steady herself and stop crying. Nicole wiped her eyes and rested her head on Mitch's chest. Nicole looked up at Mitch, taking a deep breathe.

"I just can't do it anymore Mitch," Nicole whispered to Mitch, looking down at the ground, wanting to fade away.

Mitchell looked down at Nicole, smiling down at her sadly.

"You're going to have to, Nicole. You made a promise to me that you would stop and you cannot, under any curcumstances, break that promise." Mitchell reminded her before puling his iPod out from his pokcet.

He shuffled through his songs, putting one ear-bud in Nicole's ear and the other in his, putting on Fix you by Coldplay, hoping to cheer her up by listening to her favourite band.

Nicole nodded and buried her head on Mitch's chest, listeningtibhis heartbeat. Nicole couldn't break that promise. Nicole smiled lightly as Mitch played her favorite band, Coldplay. Nicole listened to the music as she closed her eyes, listening to Mitch's heartbeat. Nicole played with the ends of Mitch's shirt.

Mitchell looked down at Nicole who was sitting on his lap, watching as she closed her eyes ane continued to lean into his chest. He smiled, resting his cheek agaimst the top of her head, also getting lost in the music even of Coldplay wasn't his all time favourite band. They were awesome, hell yeah! But he liked Muse better.

Mitchell's bright green eyes followed a group of his siblimgs as they passed, none of them saying anything. Somehow, his Apollo half-brothers had seemed to guess that there was something up with Nicole and that Mitchell was helping her. They didn't get in the way as they wanted her to be okay, for Mitchell because they knew how depressed Mitchell would get if she died. Not kill yourself bad. Just...bad.

Mitchell shuffled song again, Paradise playing. He rolled his eyes slightly; that song had been played to death of the past few months. He stood up all the same, pulling Nicole to her feet and getting into a Waltz position. "May I have this dance, Darling?" He aaked in a steriotypical English accent, trying to hide a grin.

Um...Nicole is biting herself...okaaay....?

Nicole smiled lighted up at Mitch. Did he really want to see her dance? Nicole was such a klutz, she was sure she was going to step on Mitch's feet.

"You may. For the tip, I'm a horrible dancer," Nicole said, grinning lightly. Nicole knew how to stand when dancing so she clasped her hand with Mitch's and put the other hand where it needed to be.

Mitchell laughed, shaking his head as he looked down at Nicole. Resting his right hand on her waist, he started to spin her aaround in rubbishly amatuer circles, not being able to dance very well himself. He didn't seem the point of learning...seeing as he wouldn't make it a habit of dancing with girls. Unless it was Nicole, of course.

Of coursr, it was the completely wrong type of music to waltz to so it was very sloppy but Mitch kept it up, grinning down at Nicole cheekily and hoping that he had cheered her up.

Nicole laughed as Mitch spun her around. Nicole tried to follow Mitch at what he was doing, but failed. Nicole stumbled a few times, knocking into Mitch's chest.

"I'm your age now. I turned 15 a few days ago," Nicole told Mitch grinning, not expecting anything really. No one wished her happy birthday anyway. Nicole didn't really care though, she just had to tell Mitch because she told him everything.

Mitchell laughed as she failed to dance, continuing to spin around anyway out of tune with the music. He made a kissy face at her before his mouth turned unto a cute grin, pulling it off perfectly.

"Oh, happy birthday for a few days ago. Your present..." Mitchell laughed, taking his hand off Nicole's waist to pull out his iPod and turn Charlie Brown on, just for her. "...you get another Coldplay song." He laughed, putting hand hand back on her waist and starting to dance again.

Im really, really embarressed that I know all these Coldplay songs xS

Nicole laughed, loving the song Charile Briwn. It was one if her favorite. Up with the birds cane next. It maybe hurts like heaven. Nicole smiled at Mitch, making a kissing face as well. Nicole looked over Mitch's shoulder to see some cute Aprohdite boys coming by.

"Well hot damn," Nicole said to Mitch as the boy with the brown hair and beautiful green eyes smiled at Nicole.

Mitchell stopped dancing, turning as Nicole made her comment, a grin spreading on his face. "Aren't you dating someone already?" Mitchell asked her teasingly, catching the bright blue eyes of one of the Aphrodite boys with dirty blonde hair, who winked at him.

Mitchell went a light red colour, clearing his throat as he rurned back to Nicole, running a hand thtough his short dark hair. "Oh my gods. Pinch me. This is where my sexy English accent gives me an advantage." Mitchell whispered stupidly to Nicole, a goofy smile on his face.

Nicole laughed at what Mitch said. Yes, because his accent would help. Nicole thought about Bruce. He was well...not around that much anymore. Nicole did see him, but that was once in a blue moon.

"Yeah but he doesn't seem to care anymore," Nicole muttered to Mitch, her eyes going dark a bit. The two boys smiled again and walked up to Nicole and Mitch. Nicole suddenly felt so shy.

"Hi."

Mitchell smiled at the blonde boy, who smiled back at his flirtily. He draped an arm around Nicole's shoulders, keeping one earbid in and a little releaved when the song shuffled from Coldplay to The Wombats, Kill the director. Coldplay were starting to get on his nerves.

"Hey man, I'm Mitchell." He introduced, his English accent coming out much thicker then normal. The guy seemed to notice this, his blue eyes sparkling.

"English, huh? Thats hot. Im Luc, but my friends call me Shot."

Sophia smiled lightly, looking over at Mitch and the blond hair boy. "Hey beautiful," a voice said. Nicole looked up and saw the green eyes boy looking at her. Nicole blushed a smiled.

"I'm Nicole," Nicole told the green eyes boy. The boy with green eyes smiled and chuckled. "I'm Jason, but my friends call me champ," Jason said. Nicole smiled, her mind wondering off somewhere. Jason...that name sounded familiar.
