James was the first of them to cross the border of the beach. Guess his competitive side and need to win had been acting up again. Or { as he thought } he was just super amazing sexy hot fast. Which wasn't true at all.

| I smiled. Time to show him how being born in the water pays off. I jumped int othe water and swam, beofre I knew it, he and the other kids were dots next to the small beach. Having gills help a lot when swimming, and when you get into the water you get webbed feet and hands... that helps too.

| Paster observed the beach. The soft and sandy surface of the ground. Ignoring the guy who jumped into the water. He sounded like an idiot, she thought. Waiting for people wasn't one of the things she liked to do. She just sat there and gazed upon the sea. Later, she turned her look to James and said, "Where you from?" with a smile. | |
