I sat at the Minor Gods table. Alone. Well, I mean, one of the minor gods' tables. But I was completely alone. There weren't many Pheme kids, and most didn't like me because I was an actress. I was also pretty vain. I felt so lonely. I never felt this way. I laid my head down on the table. I cried. Obviously nobody heard me. Mascara rolled down my cheeks. I never cried. Unless it was for a role. I must of been very vulnerable.

I walked into the mess hall. This is where I usually go if I wanted to practice my lyre. Yes, I own a lyre. A gift from my dad. I'm still trying to figure out hot to play it. I held it in my hands, strummed it like a guitar and broke a string. "Dammit.." I mumbled. Then I heard someone. I looked over and I say a girl crying. I walked over to her and put a hand on her shoulder. "You okay, miss?" I asked.

I wiped my eyes. I felt someone put a hand on my shoulder. It was a boy. I wiped the mascara of my cheeks before turning around. Oh my gosh. This boy was hot. Like, super hot. I blushed, and sighed,"Oh my god." I looked at him in the eyes. "H-hi," I said. "I'm Minna Lane, but you can call me Minna." Oh my god, I couldn't get over how cute he was.

I smiled at her. "Hello." I said with a gentle smile. "I'm Cameron Moore. You can call me Cameron or Cam. You choice." I smiled. "Minna is a lovely name by the way." I said sitting next to her. "So, why is a pretty girl like you crying?" I asked.

I blushed even more. If that was even possible. I was blushing way too much, I was surprised that he wasn't noticing. "Well, I feel so lonely. Maybe... it's because I push people away all the time. I'm super vain." I paused for a second. "By the way, you can call me Minnie. And my mom's Pheme, goddess of fame and renown."

I listened to her. When she had finished speaking, I said "I see. You need to learn how to let other people in. I used to block everyone off, but since I came here, I've been extremely social." I patted her back when I said this. "My father is Apollo, God of the Sun and Nusic and poetry and all that jazz." I said with a laugh.

I smiled. He was super nice. Talking to some vain girl he barely knew. I knew anybody like him. "Thanks," I said. "You're really nice. I feel... different here, ya know?"

"This place is different. So much different. But, you learn to love it over time. I know I love it. I'd take this over my old life any day." I said standing up and stretching. This girl seemed nice. Not as vain as she claims.

I smiled. Oh gosh, I probably looked like a bum. I re-applied my mascara, and my lipstick. I brushed my hair a little bit. Then I looked up at him. I laughed a bit. "Sorry."

I laughed as she quickly prepped herself. "It's okay." I said with a smile. "No need to fix yourself up for me." I said smiling, then winked at her.

I laughed a bit. "Yea there is. You're really... cute." I winked back at him. I gulped a little.

"Thanks, you're not so bad yourself there Minne." I said with a smile. This girl was..Different. Different from all the other girls I knew. Other girls would throw themselves at me. I could have a civil conversation with this one.

I laughed and smiled. "Thank you so much. No one's ever said that to me. Most guys just say I'm hot and stuff. And they only like my 'cause I'm famous." I scratched my head a little.

"I know how you feel on that one." I said putting a hand behind my neck. "Girls run up to me and they're like 'CAMERON YOU'RE SO HOT AMG!!!'" I laughed imitating them. It was the truth.

I laughed and smiled shyly. "I don't blame those girls, Cameron," I said. I wasn't lying. I'd run after Cameron anyday. He was so cute and sweet and nice. Of course, I'm not the type of girl to run after a boy.

I smiled at her. She was definitely different. I liked her a lot. "So, do you have a boyfriend?" I asked somewhat shyly.

I smiled shyly to myself. I also blushed a bit more. "No," I said. "I've never really had time for boys. I haven't even kissed one. Well once in a movie, but that doesn't count to me."

"Really?!" I looked at her kind of shocked. A girl as cute as her should've at least had a kiss. Or a boyfriend! That was truly amazing. "How does a girl as cute as you, NOT have a boyfriend?"

I smiled and giggled. "Thank you," I said. "Well, it's mostly because I pushed boys away, and my dad never wanted me around boys. He always kept them away from me. I mean, it's not like boys tried to kiss me or ask me out. I didn't like them because they'd throw themselves at me."

"Ooooh. I see." I said getting an apple and rubbing it off. Wait, I don't like apples. "Apple?" I offered her with a laugh. Why did I grab that? I laughed.

I shook my head. "No. I'm not hungry. I don't get hungry, really. I just eat because I'm supposed to."

"Well, you should go ahead and eat it anyway. I think you're really too skinny." I laughed tossing her the apple. I walked around the table and sat on top of it. "So tell me, Minnie. How long have you been here, at the lovely Camp Half-Blood?" I asked her throwing my arms up with a small laugh.

I smiled. I took a bit out of the apple. I chewed and swallowed before answering him. "I've been here for exactly 4 and a half years."
