Ray nodded, her eyes turning back to their normal color. "Yeah, I'm okay. Just a little beat up, that's all," Ray told Cal, her now wet hair sticking to her face. Ray sighed and looked up at the sky, seeing that it was no longer raining. Ray looked back at Cal and bit her lip. He seemed fine since he was immune to getting wet. "Are you okay?" Ray asked Cal, putting a hand on his cheek. Ray looked down Cal's body and back up to his face, staring into his dark blue eyes. Ray leaned in and kissed Cal on the lips, her arms wrapping around his neck.

Cal looked into her deep blue eyes and slipped his arms around her waist. Ray had no idea that Cal would do anything for her from that moment on. He didn't care about the pain in his ribs. Cal leaned into Ray closing that extra inch between them and kissed her full on the lips not even bothering to answer her question. He was find, Cal kept telling himself. He didn't need any help, if that was Ray was thinking. If anything she needed the help.

Ray moved her lips with Cal's, pulling Cal's body closer to Ray. Ray couldn't help but wonder if Cal was really okay. Ray did care about him and it was her duty to know. Ray's hand ran themelves into Cal's hair, loving how soft it was. Ray suddenly hit her body against Cal's and winced, pulling away. Ray wrapped her arms around her chest, pain flaring in them. "I'm walking for the rest of my life," Ray muttered to Cal, holding her breath to keep from crying.

Cal nodded and dug out another piece of ambrosia for Ray. "Take this. I'll be right back." Cal climbed out of the car and whipped out his sword going to the front of the car where the license plate was. He dug his sword into it and pried it off, along with the other one around back. They didn't need the authorities coming after them. After throwing the plates far into the woods where they'll probably stay and piss of some nymphs forever, Cal went back over to Ray. He offered her his hand. "C'mon," he said, grabbing his wallet with his free hand. "Let's go. It wont be that long a walk."

Ray nodded, putting the piece of godly food infinite mouth. Ray stood up and followed Cal, grabbing her jacket that was on the ground. Ray sighed, running a hand through her blond hair. She wish it would dry. "My friend has an apartment in the city that's covered in Mist," Ray told Cal, keeping up her pace with Cal.

Cal wished he could help Ray out with her jacket but his powers were limited to drying things. Or as far as he knew he couldn't dry things. Cal often neglected to practice with his powers. He slowed his pace a bit as Ray tried to keep up. Cal just really wanted to get away from that wreckage. He slipped his arm around her body lightly, trying to make sure he wouldn't hurt her at all. "Sounds good to me," he asnswered. "Maybe we could stay there for the night then pick up where we left off tomorrow." It was already dark. It had been dark sense they left camp, when they had watched the sunset at the beach.

Ray leaned her head against Cal's arm. Or shoulder. Ray nodded her head, the pain fading away fast now due to the god food and drink. "Alright, maybe we could do something tomorrow. Let's get there. We can hang put there for the night. I just hope the apartment isnt a mess," Ray told Cal, wrinkling her nose. Ray laughed lightly, looking up at Cal.

Cal nodded again, trying to wonder what that would be like. Sitting in an appartment with a girl. He's never done anything like that before. He's never really been alone with a girl, period. Cal hadn't been very social with anyone before he met Ray. She changed him, so much it was almost unbelieveable. It made Cal smile just to think about it. "I'm sure it wont be that bad." He said. Soon the long country highways turned into city streets as they made their way into the city.

Ray laughed. "Well, you haven't met my friend yet," Ray told Cal, smiling up at him. Ray saw the streets turn into the city streets. Ray smiled as they entered NYC. Ray inked a few times, trying to adjust to the bright lights. "Woah," Ray muttere, pulling Cal towards the apartment. Ray jogged up the steps and tried to get the door open. Ray cussed and tried to get it open. "Do you see a key?" Ray asked Cal, looking around for it.

Cal looked around for a moment, checking in the dead plant off to the side of the door first. He pulled something out of the dirty mud that looked like a shriveled up blue worm. Without hesitation he dropped the worm and continued looking. "Does this guy actually keep a key around here all the time?" Cal asked. "Do you realize how dangerous that id in New York?"

Ray laughed. "Well, you haven't met Eli before," Ray told Cal, grinning lightly. Ray sighed and gave up. Within a second, Ray kicked the door open. "There, I..."Ray trailed off, seeing the key stuckin out from under the placemat. Ray face-plamed. "Gods," Ray muttered, feeling stupid.

Cal laughed again and picked up the key. He put it into the key hole and turned the nob letting the door creak open. To be honest, the place wasn't as messy as Cal ha expected. He had expected pizza boxes, scattered shoes, old food, rats, random weapons, books thrown on the ground, old papers, you know. The usual stuff, but it really wasn't that bad. The couch had a few random things on it, the floor wasn't as cluttered as it could have been and it was free from all rats. As far as Cal could tell anyway. "That's not that bad is it?" Cal asked gesturing for Ray to go inside.

~OMG, they should like almost go all te way tonight but get interupted *wink* ...then they try again tomorrow night... xD

Ray walked inside, seeing that it was well...clean. "Woah," Ray said as she walked inside. Ray smiled and closed the door, putting her jacket on the couch. "I thought it would-be worse," Ray uttered to Cal, laughing lightly. Ray looked up at Cal and smiled lightly. Soon, she couldn't help herself. Ray leaned up and kissed Cal on the lips.

Cal smiled lightly and slipped his arms around Ray's waist. She leaned up and kissed him and helping her out a bit, Cal bent down so she could reach better. Instead of standing there, after a moment Cal moved towards the couch swiping a few things off of the cussions before continueing to kiss Ray again. He was starting to really think he loved her. She was so beautiful, independent, pure. Everything. She was simply perfect.

Ray was surprised when she felt the soft couch against her back. Ray didn't mind though. Ray pulled Cal onto the couh as well, still kissing him. For a water boy, Cal could kiss. Ray moved her lips with Cal's and was soon sitting on his lap. Ray was glad she wasn't squished against the couch anymore. Ray smiled gently under the kiss and deepen the kiss.

Cal traced his left hand up Ray's leg, holding her thigh in his large hands, pressing his lips to hers harder. Cal used his other hand to cup the back of Ray's neck, keeping her as close to him as he cpuld keep her. Cal wanted to keep her as close to him as possible making sure she would never get hurt again. It would kill him if she got hurt again because she meant too much to him now.

Ray felt Cal's hand go up her thigh and smiled under the kiss. She pulled away for a second to breath, but pressed her lips to Cal's again. Ray's hand traveled to Cal's chest, feeling his muscles a bit. A loud crash was heard outside, but Ray ignored it. Ray was too busy at the moment. Now, Cal was everything to Ray. Ray moved her lips with his and ignored another weird noise. Ray ran her hands across Cal's chest again.

Cal moved his hand up Ray's shirt, slowly tracing his hand over her soft and smooth skin. He didn't notice the loud noise coming from outside. The only things Cal was really aware of was Ray's and his heavy breathing, Ray's warm skin and her beautiful long blonde hair. Their intertwined lips moved more and more and pressed more together, letting their tongues have a mini war. To Cal, the noises outside were the last things on his mind.

Ray felt Cal's hand on her skin and giggled lightly. "That tickles," Ray whispered to Cal before pressing her lips back to Cal's. Ray tugged at Cal's thin tee and pulled it over his head, revealing his toned abs. Ray smirked lightly and traced the outline if Cal's chest. Ray kissed Cal's jaw before kissing Cal on the lips. Ray was about to do something herself when one of the windows broke. Ray screamed as she juiced a man that had crashed through the window. Ray immediately pulled get shirt back down, coverin her cleavage. "What?" Ray asked startled, getting off of Cal, watching the man. Well, she tried to look at the man but Cal was shirtless right infront of Ray.

Cal instantly got up, standing over Ray as the man crashed into the appartment. He held her behind him, careful not to let the man anywhere close to them. Two men in one night probably both crazy abe each perverts out loking for girls like Ray. "Get out of here," Cal growled at the man, already balling up his fists. He felt the cold draft of the appartment againdt his bare chest, but didn't care at this point.

Ray stood behind Cal's bare back and her eyes followed the two men. Ray gulped as one fumbled something out of his pocket. Ray stapled back as one of the men had a knife. Well, the usual robbery. Ray backed away, not seeing where the other guy was headed. Suddenly, Ray felt an arm around her neck and gasped as she couldn't really breath. Ray squirmed, trying to get free.

Cal lunged out at the first man with the knife just as the other one grabbed Ray. Cal tumbled with the man to the ground, struggling against his strength with the hand that held the knife. Cal jabbed his elbow hard up under the man's chin a few times but he wouldn't budge. "That's enough!" the second man who had Ray, which Cal just noticed now, "Or the girl get's it." Both of the men sneered as Cal stood up quickly, ensureing Ray's safety. Cal watch as Ray was held firmly by the man. All their eyes following eachother, anticipating their oponents next move. "Might as well get rid of him." Goon 1 said to Goon 2. "The girl we could have some fun with." Goon 1 came towards Cal with the knife, Goon 2 threatening Ray the entire time. Cal was screwed either way. He attacks thy kill Ray and then himself. He stays put, he dies, they do whatever they want with Ray then probably kill her. Luckily Cal was a quick thinker and was only waiting for the precise moment.

~Oh it was fine. I was just watching tv. My parents aren't home at the moment, so i was just wrecking havoc xD*notreally*

Ray's mouth dropped open a bit. Have fun with her? Ray knew that they didn't mean Bingo or something. Ray watched as the man holding her watched the other guy lunge at Cal. This was her chance. Ray elbowed the guy in throat, causing him to gag and drop his weapon. Ray kicked the man in the chest, sending him flying into the table. Ray picked up the knife and jumped on the other's man's back. The man growled and threw Ray off, makin her land with a thud. Ray groaned and rolled over, but saw a blade near her face. Ray kicked it away, the blade ripping her jeans.

Cal didn't hesitate, not even for a second. He quickly grabbed the man by the back of his shirt collar and pulled hard, sending him tumbling away from Ray and knocking into a wall. Cal took the quick time to wonder if these two were drunk. Cal kicked the knife the man had dropped away from him and off to the side. As this man stood up again, Cal knocked him right back down with a quick swipe of a punch, straight in the jaw. He stumbled back again, hitting his head on the wall. After punching him twice more, Cal grabbed him by the collar and brough him close to his face so Cal could whisper, "I'm going to say this again. Get out." Cal dropped the man and he scrambled out the way he came, blood streaming down his nose and his jaw hanging funny off to the side. The other one that had been holding Ray before she beat him, was forgotten by Cal, but just for te moment.

Ray brushed a piece of her hair back, taking a deep breath. "I guess the apartment doesn't fend off mortals," Ray told Cal with a light smile. Ray sighed and stretched. She was exhausted. Ray looked over Cal's shoulder, only to find that one man still there, the one tht grabbed Ray. "Cal watch out!" Ray yelled as the man swung a bat that had been leaning against the wall before. Ray pushed Cal, receiving the blow instead. Ray's eyes fluttered closed as she fell to the floor passed out.
