The Restaurant(Gemini:God of Homestuck)

Melissa walked into the restaurant wearing a dark purple poofy dress. She had her red hair tightly curled, and she was wearing white heeled boots. Melissa searched for Tony while fixing her heel. When she got her boot fixed, she spotted Tony across the restaurant.

Melissa grinned and walked across the restaurant to Tony. "Hey", she smiled. She smoothed out her dress and kissed him on the cheek. Melissa looked at the table and saw how beautifully decorated it was.

Melissa smiled at him "I'll have the salad, please. Dressing included, if you can." She grinned at him ,and waited for him to order.

Melissa's forehead crinkled in worry. "Really? What is it??,she said. Her eyes glistened with maybe soon-to-be tears.

Her face fell. "Whoa that- that's horrible.", she said. And to make things worse, she saw a very familiar woman walk in. Melissa gaped at her, looking a bit like an idiot. "A- Ariana", she stuttered, her gaze transfixed at her stepmother.

"Yeah",she said. "Definitely." Melissa swerved towards the door, hoping Ariana didn't see her. She wasn't lucky enough. Ariana let out a shriek as she recognized Melissa swooping out the door.

I walked over quickly, throwing $12 on the table. I ran up and as the women who was her step-mother shrieked, I stepped next to Melissa. I put my left arm around her hip and looked at the lady. I looked over at Melissa as if to say, I'm here with you this time.

IC: "Thanks Tony.", Melissa said as she stepped onto the sidewalk. "What say we check out a few shops or try to find another restaurant?"

"That's great. I found a nice place over there, usually not too crowded. We can get one of those cheesy couple tees.",Melissa said, and grinned. She nudged him playfully on the shoulder.
