Subject: Periyali: Greek Restaurant (Cam!) Sat Jul 07, 2012 12:34 pm

I walked up the steep hill, and pulled out my compact mirror. Make-up, fine. Dress fine..I hoped. Shoe's fine...if not a little bright.
I looked around, but couldn't see him anywhere. He's going to show. He's going to show, I chanted in my head. But no matter how many times I said it, I still couldn't make myself believe it.
Slowly, I put it back into my bag, and sighed. But I looked up at the sky and saw a rainbow. Sparkling in the crisp evening sky, I smiled and hoped it was a sign from Iris that this would all turn out okay.

I was wearing tennis shoes a black long sleeve shirt and blue jeans. I came up from behind Auburn and juggled her. I walked in front of her and kissed her hello. "Hey Auburn " I smiled at her. "Off to go eat. I feel really underdressed now."

I breathed a sigh of relief and gave him another kiss. He was here. And looking really good.
'If anyone feels under dressed it's me. Most of my clothes are rainbow colored,' I smiled and looked around.
'I rang a taxi. It'll be here in a minute, and all you have to do is tell him where we're going. Now no disagreements. I'm paying for the taxi,' I laughed.

"No I'm paying for it. I will pay for everything." I laughed, reached over and grabbed her hand. I looked into the sky. "You know rainbows aren't supposed to exsist at night." I looked at her again. "I know I'm repeating myself, but gods your butifull."

I laughed and held his hand. I had already come to the conclusion this was going to be the disagreement, so I had already put a 20 into my pocket to slip to the driver.
'Thank you kind sir,' I said, bowing to him,'and rainbows are amazing. They can appear around me. So why can't they appear at night?' I asked slightly joking.
When I had looked at my eyes in the compact, they had been a light violet. Not a normal color, but perfect for me.

"I guess so. Anyway, how are you. I'm great. Standing here with my favorite person." Just then the driver pulled up. "Periyali, restaurant please.' I opened the door up for Auburn. "Lady's first."

I climbed in and quickly handed the 20 to the driver. He nodded curtly, and I smiled.
'So. Periyali. I couldn't think of a better place to go with you,' I said, and blushed slightly.
He was a perfect gentleman, and as the driver pulled away, I took his hand and smiled at him.

"Yep. This has been amazing. Not only did I meet you, but I got to shoot someone, and had my first kiss, with you no less." I stared at her eyes. "They change colors a lot don't they."

I looked at him fondly.
'Today has really been the best of my life. I met you, I got to threaten a Son of Zeus (Which was actually quite cool) and I had my first kiss that meant something to me,' I looked down.
I had kissed someone else, but it was different now. Things changed, and the boy before hadn't been like Taylor,'my eyes do change a lot. Mostly with my mood. Maybe one day, you'll be able to tell the difference of what I'm thinking just by looking at the color.'
I smiled and hoped that one day, he would.

"I hope that I will." I kissed her again. The cqbbed stopped moving, so I handed the driver 30 bucks. "Thanks." I got out and opened up Auburn's door. ""Off we goninto the restaurant. "

I got the money back as he was going around to my door and in one swift movement I slipped it into my bag before he opened it.
I was sure that when he was distracted I could slip it back into his coat. No-need for him to know.
'Thank you. And this is so cool,' I said as we stepped into the restaurant. Skinny Love by Birdy was playing over the speakers, and I found myself humming along to it. She was a very underestimated singer.
'Do you like Birdy?' I asked Taylor, and took his hand smiling.

"Yes I do actually." The host escorted us to one of the rooms. "Thanks" I said to him. I tipped him sat next to auburn. "So here we are." I took her wrist and kissed her hand. "So what do you wanna talk about."

I smiled and kissed him on the cheek.
'I don't mind. I'm just happy to be here with you. What about our likes and dislikes?' I said smiling.

'Well. I like you. I like Kaida, Adara, Buffy and Blue. I dislike the color green, monsters and horror stories,' I chuckled.

I pondered Taylor. He was sweet, and honestly must have preferred his own company. But I was here now.
'The Arctic Wolf. I like them. They can blend in with snow, and did you know they're trying to breed them in Lapland?' I smiled and folded up a napkin that seemed a little off center.

I mean, she's become my favorite goddess today. I bate my mom. I wish she did something to get me out of the system."

I tilted my head.
'I love Iris. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't go up to her, hug her and call her mommy, but she's one of the best Gods. Colorful, and she can make rainbows. Khione...I don't really know about. The Greeks didn't really worship her because of the fact they lived in a place that snow would be something pretty impossible. She...is not a well liked Goddess,' I smiled,'thank you for that. The dude at the volleyball pits was a son of Zeus, and he has reputation as a player.'
I chuckled.

"Well that explains why I wanted to shoot him. He came of as a jerk. Although, I usually am too. So, when did you get that tattoo" I pointed at her leopard spots. I adjusted my position, and then the waiter walked into the room. "What would you like to eat" he said in a heavy Greek accent. I answered "the ortiki please'" I turned to Auburn "what do you want?"

'I got the tattoo...two month's ago. And thank you. I'll have a Greek Salad please,' I chuckled, and took his hand.
