Ethan stared back at Avril. He wasn't flirting with the girls, and of course he wasn't gonna give them a mean stare either. He felt sad, wondering if he hurt Avril or anything. "Avril, I wasn't flirting with them." He choked. It felt like a rock was stuck in his throat, choking him. "I don't like them." Ethan said pointing to the girls. He was just gonna say the sentence when something stopped in his thought. "Wait, why did you care?"

She sighed, "I don't know. Do I look like I would know?" she asked, looking at him accusingly. She groaned, "Sorry." she said quietly. She didn't say another word, she had screwed this up too much.

Ethan started to take a deep sigh. "No, I'm sorry. I can tell it bothered you." Why did he do that in the first place? He started to think this was bad timing. Was this the right time to tell her? "Come on Av, you said you wanted to go to the Statue of Liberty. And I just want to be there with you. If It'll make you smiling again."

Avril looked at Ethan, she sighed. "I can't promise that I'll smile again. But I still want to go." she said, a small hint of defeat hidden in her famous monotone. She got up, going over to Ethan, putting a slight distance between her and him. She closed her eyes for a moment, simply thinking.

Ethan new he blew it, another day ruined. What amazement, he could of reck it. He started to walk, seeing Avril putting a distance between them. He wished he got there faster, because he was barely speaking. Getting at least to the Statue of Liberty. There was a tour guide to help them. He looked funny. Bald, with glasses that made his eyes huge. An over tucked Hawaii shirt. And a crooked nose. "Now this is the statue of liberty, its very huge. Yes, yes. Any questions?" The man said. "Let's hope this guy is not a monster." Ethan smiled, whispering to her.

Avril nodded. She looked at the guy, "No really? I thought it was small?" she smirked, crossing her arms, a sarcastic tone holding strongly in her voice. She rolled her eyes when she wasn't looking. She examined him for a moment, trying to see if he was a monster or not. She had her dagger in her bag, if he was.. she was ready. She looked at Ethan while he wasn't looking either. She had messed everything up because of her defensive ways. Wonderful. Unless she made a move, or he did, if he even wanted to.. they weren't going to go anywhere. She sighed.

Ethan was not gonna let this whole thing thing come to his head. He started to bit his lip. He was not gonna act like a wuss and not say it. Of course Ethan was the opposite of that. He closed his eyes and open them back six seconds afterwards. "Avril, I like you." He finally said. Ethan should have said this a long time ago. Who knows if this was the right time? In Ethan's head was only one question: Did she like him back?

Avril looked at him, her breath stuck in the back of her throat. Her voice couldn't function for a moment. "Uh... I- yo-y-you..." she stuttered through the words until she made them come out of her mouth. "You like me?" she asked, her eyes wide. "Me?" she asked. she shook her head. "No one likes me, I scare everybody away." she said quietly. She went a bit closer to Ethan, only putting a few inches of a distance between them. She looked into his eyes. "No one's ever liked Avril Cummings." she whispered softly.

Ethan breath stopped for a second. "Well I do." He said, and leaned in closer to her. And kissed her. He had no idea what he was doing. Avril probably might beat him up by now. But Ethan was gonna take the punch or anything. He probably shouldn't have kissed her. She didn't even say that she liked him back. Maybe this wasn't a right way to make a relationship. Ethan was just standing still, closing eyes. Standing there like an idiot waiting to get hit.

Avril opened her eyes. She tried and failed at hiding a small smile. She looked at him "I like you too..." she trailed, her lips brushed against his for a moment. She sighed. A small laugh coming from her mouth. "Avril and Ethan..." she shook her head before leaning it on his shoulder, "No one would believe it." she joked lightly.

Ethan took in a small chuckle. It was very surprising to him when he actually kissed her. A smile quivered on his lips, "Yeah." And put his arm around Avril. He was glad to have a girl like her, beautiful, has an attitude if she wanted, and actually liked him. Now his eyes trailed down to the guy who was leading the tour, hoping this guy wasn't a monster.

Avril smiled, she leaned her head slightly on his shoulder. She looked to where he was staring and she rolled her eyes, "Bet you ten drachmas he isn't." she smirked at him. He was so worried about Monsters, sure the thing they had gotten into last time was.. pretty bad, but still.. she wasn't going to worry, she was ready this time id the events did replay.

Ethan grinned, "Deal." He barely had any drachma's on him, but this guy looked really suspicious. He could probably do his magic skills on them again, and try not to drain his powers like last time. They started to walk inside the building, while the guy was talking in a deep British accent. Ethan looked around the things were pretty cool. "Av' wanna see what's in there?" He pointed at another that said, 'Do Not Disturb' in big letters.

Avril eyed the sign before smiling and nodding, "Duh." she replied, already making her way to get closer to it. She smiled, rolling her eyes at Ethan, "Well? Are you coming?" she asked mockingly.

Ethan looked over to the tour guide, and answered, "Of course." And started to take off into the hallway, where the 'Do Not Disturb' sign was there. Just when Ethan touched the door, it actually jerked open. What was this?
