Maybe this will Be better (Blake)

Avril went towards the top of the hill, looking around for Blake. When she didn't see him she decided that she was early and leaned against a tree, waiting. She played with the hem of her tee-shirt. She actually had some color to her outfit, but not much. It was a dark purple with black skinny jeans.

She looked around for him again, maybe he had forgotten.

Ethan new he was totally late, because he overslept. He couldn't stop thinking about what happened last night. It was such a rush for him that night, he never been able to go on something that crazy. Ethan just put on a polo sweater, and some old navy blue jeans. Grabbing his money out from his pillow, he started to skip out of his cabin. Looking over at the top of the hill Ethan noticed Avril just sitting under the tree. Possibly mad at him, but he didn't care. Walking over to her and said, "Hey Avril, where do you wanna go?"

Avril raised and eyebrow, half questioningly. And Half accusingly. She sighed, "Food." she said, a small smile playing on her lips. "Why were you late?" she asked as tehy walked down the hill, she stuffed her hands in her pockets casually.

Ethan looked at her in the eyes and said, "Overslept, I couldn't stop thinking about last night." They were then walking on the street, Ethan probably thought of going to Olive Garden or Friendlys. Since those were the places he liked but this was Avril's choice. "Which restaurant you wanna go? Its up to you." Ethan smiled.

Avril thought for a moment, "Er... Friendlys?" she looked at him, biting her lip. "Yeah... Last night was..." she thought for a word to describe it. "Interesting." she grinned slightly at him.

Ethan had a small smile on his face for a second. The night had been rough, but he's gonna get over that soon enough. "I had to admit, it was kinda fun. Being on an adventure of that sort." He said. And was still walking the way to Friendlys.

Avril nodded in agreement, "Exciting. Not like camp...at all." she looked at him, a true smile on her face. They were about 5 minutes away from Friendly's now and she felt the sudden urge to keep on talking, but that just... wasn't her. She looked at Ethan, "Did you ever think that would happen?" she asked, looking over at him, she meant the events of the night before... but it came out a bit different than she had intended.

Ethan had to agree with her statement, it was not much like camp at all. But the training from it really helped him a lot. Seeing they were about three minutes from Friendly's which wasn't a lot of time. "Not really, I never thought it would happen. I wasn't even thinking if that would happen or not. I just worried about you being happy or not." Ethan grinned. He really didn't want it that madness to happen that night. "Avril, if there's a monster ever in friendly. We stick together no matter what." Ethan sighed, he was actually prepared for it. If it ever happened, but he wanted this to be a good evening and nothing to spoil it.

Avril smiled, "Why would you care if I was happy or not, It takes a lot of work to get my happy." she smiled. Some people were staring at her outfit, she was categorized as a freak, she was used to the stares. "Always stick together." she promised. She was prepared for anything. She sighed as they walked into friendly's, "I haven't been here in so long." she said as they sat down.

Ethan started to smile back, "It's worth it." They had to be at least one or two minutes away from Friendly's. Ethan didn't think the outfit he had on, wasn't much of his best choice. It's not like he cared. There was a lot of people in Friendly's and he did mean a lot! It was like hundreds of people. And there was 4 or 5 families waiting to get set in a table at the waiting area. "Me neither, but now I'm seeing what it is like now."

Avril nodded, "Yeah..." she sighed. They were seated soon and all she could hear was a million babies crying to her left. She rolled her eyes at all the families apologizing for their children. "I never would think that it could get so busy here..."

Ethan nodded, it took only a second for their menu to come in. Since they were the only two people at a table who didn't get their menu yet. The guy looked a bit tall, curled lip, and short stiff hair. "And what would you want to order?" He said. Ethan looked at Avril and said, "What do you want? It's on me."

Avril looked at the waiter, she gave her order quickly and she gave him a polite, forced smile. "Thanks." she forced out. She was polite, despite everything. She sighed as he got Ethan's order, as he walked away she looked at him, raising an eyebrow, "You don't have to pay for all of it you know. I can pay too." she offered, looking at him.

Ethan just nodded, "Okay, thanks." He looked around a lot of people surely was here, he couldn't stop thinking about that. So many people here could be monsters or something. Who knew someone could be looking at him right now, he did a demigod scent like all demigods have. Ethan was straight bored right now, it's been two minutes already. He wasn't a person that didn't like to wait. "What do you think we should do?"

Avril could tell that Ethan was getting... anxious. She smirked. "I don't know, we could..." she was interuppted by the waiter bringing back their drinks." she smiled politely and he did back. She rolled her eyes, looking at Ethan. "Like I was saying we could..."

Ethan was really starting to get annoyed by the waiters come in and out. But he did have a nice beverage to keep him relaxed. "So you said we c..." Right before Ethan can finish his sentence, the waiter came up with the appetizer. Which was bread rolls, 2 packages of butter, and 3 butter knifes. "So you were saying?"

Avril looked amused, "They really keep you on your toes here, don't they?" she joked. She smield at Ethan, "What I was saying..." she waited for a second before continuing, "Was that we could go to tourist-y places in New York." she grinned.

Ethan started to laugh at her first comment. But when he heard about about the tourist attractions in New York, he was confused. "Huh? Wait... oh you mean something like visiting and admiring or something?" Ethan said confused. He thought at least two things, one was to see and admire and the other was to see if there any monsters over there. But Ethan just went with a nod.

Avril smiled, "Like going to the Empire state Building or something." she smield, "Honestly, I don't think any mo-" she stopped when a waiter brought their food. She gave widened her eyes in annoyance, "Thanks." she forced out. "They are seriously getting annoying." she shook her head. She leaned in towards him whispering, "I honestly, don't think that any monsters will come for us twice in a row, in a public place where we can kick their butts... again?"

Ethan nodded. But he did not want to leave this food, it looked just like his dad's cooking. Which importantly his dad cooked like a Hall of Fame Chef. He started to bite his lip and said, "Should we go now or after this?" Either way Ethan could just brought the food with them. But it would be a little odd for him to do that. The waiters were very annoying though but kind. They kept going saying 'Need any more?' But Ethan thought that was seriously annoying.

Avril looked at a waiter, "I think we're fine, thank you, we'll get you when we need something." she smiled fakely and the waiter left, dumbfounded. "Gods." she shook her head, "We'll leave after." she smiled.

Ethan started to nod. It was actually a good lunch, not getting annoyed by the waiters so much. And hanging out with Avril. He started to eat a little bit faster, so maybe he could see the Empire State Building or maybe the Statue of Liberty. But he seriously hoped that the monsters wouldn't ruin this day either.

Avril smiled at him as she finished. It was incredibly good. You didn't get food like that at camp. She smiled. "You ready to go?" she asked, looking at Ethan, she raised a questioning eyebrow. Some girls were staring at Ethan, and giggling. She looked at them and they looked away, was she that scary? She didn't think so.

Ethan nodded when Avril said when he was ready to go. And noticed girls were giggling and smiling at him. But Ethan couldn't resist a small smile, and just a wave. Of course Avril, somehow scared them off. Ethan got up and they walked out of the food restaurant. Shoving his hands in his pockets, and thinking of what to say. "So Avril..."

Avril didn't say anything until they were out of the restaurant. He had flirted back, she didn't know why this bothered her so, but it did. She looked at him, keeping any emotions off her face. "Go ahead, go back and flirt with your little friends. I can wait here." she said her monotone on the verge of anger. She sighed sitting down, this wasn't her. At all. She wasn't one to care.
