Kevin started to laugh at her joke. He was about to make a comeback, but he wasn't actually the joke master. Looking around the forest he found a red scorpion on a nearby tree. He started to point at it saying, "Look at that." The scorpion was not even moving, but it looked interesting to Kevin. "Wouldn't that be cool to have as a pet." He said, even though Kevin would prefer blue. That was pretty much so him.

Lily looked at him skeptically with raised eyebrows. "No. Not really. A pet isnt really my thing. I am too crazy to look after them." She said, looking at his face from side on. "But, if you want to have that deadly and scary creature as a pet, then feel free." She realized that she was starting to sound like a pessimist again. Good, thats how she normally was. Why was she acting different about Kevin?

Kevin started to laugh, and continue walking. He was stuffing his hand in his pocket, which really had wrappers of something. Probably candy or something. Either way, Kevin found some pretty cool stuff in this forest. "Lily, what do you like?" He asked randomly, as if the question just flied out of his mouth. This is actually the first time he asked this question, being a goody goody and all. But it had nothing to do with that, it had something to do with another.

Lily frowned again, forming a small crease in her brow which was hidden by her black bangs. "What do I like?" She thought for a moment, trying to understand what he meant. "I like garage music. Grunge stuff. I like puppies but I wouldnt be able to look after them. I like playing baseball in the summer. I like hot drummers from bands. What do you like?" She asked him the same question curiously.

What did I like? Kevin started to think in his head. Of course he liked a lot of things, but didn't know what to say. "I like rock and pop music, I like cats and dogs. And I like playing football, baseball, and basketball. In either the spring or summer. Of course I like snow, it's in my nature or blood. Don't ask. I like bands with weird names, because mostly there music sounds awesome. Also I like any sort of parties with music blasting." He finally finished. There wasn't much to spill about what he liked. But he didn't want to annoy Lily.

"Huh..." Lily grunted, thinking about what he had said. They had different...opions but that was good. What sort of friendship is it if you like the same thing and dont have an independabt opinion? Not a good one. A question popped into her mind and, with her ADHD and all, she couldnt help but ask it. "Kev, do you have a girlfriend?"

"No, not really." Kevin said. He really didn't try to get girlfriends in the past, it just didn't worry to him that much. But for some reason, he liked Lily. Kevin had the same question popping up in his head. "What about you Lily, do you have a boyfriend?" He asked. Kevin was thinking she must have had one. Since she was pretty, and was fun to hang out with. But that was in Kevin's eyes.

Lily bit her lip, hiding a small. She didn't know why she was happy about the fact that Kevin didn't have a girlfriend. She wasn't used to it. Her stomach was fluttering, she thought she was going to be sick. She hid it, shrugging like it didn't matter. "Not right now. Between boyfriends at the moment, if you catch my drift." She had dumped her last boyfriend a few months ago; a Apollo kid. The relationship didn't make her happy.

Kevin didn't know what that meant for a moment. He liked Lily, but was she still liking her other boyfriend? A thousand questions popped in his head. And of course Kevin had ADHD, he barely could not answer any of them. He felt hot a bit, and never felt this before. Oh gods, he thought. "Wait so this weekend, are we gonna go on a date or a friendly get together?" He asked. Wait, why did I bring this up! Stupid! Never do anything right! Kevin thought to himself. But didn't beat him self up for thinking that.

Lily was quite taken back with the question he had asked. How the hell was she going to answer that?! It was impossiable! Though the idea of going on a date with Kevin made her feel despisingly happy, how did she know thats what he wanted? She brushed her fringe out of her eyes, concentrating for a moment. "Uh...a date?" She frowned, wondering what he reaction would be.

Kevin started to nod. "Yeah a date." He said. His eyes started to look a little more icy blue under the sunlight. Wait why did he say that? "I don't know if its a date or not. But its your choice." He smiled. What was he doing? Being a goody goody again. Kevin was too nice, but this was for a reason. And he didn't know why. Of course he knew why though, but didn't want to make a complete fool of himself at the last minute.

Lily stretched, yawning slightly from her recent pack of sleep down to her younger brothers and their obsession with her iPod. Thats all they wanted to do; plug it into the stereo and listen to it. Her dark brown eyes wandered back to Kevin with a smile. "Yeah, a date. That'll be fun." She said truthfully, biting her lip slightlyw.
