Alec lay there on the floor of the forest, his eyes slighty wide, and his mouth agape. In that split second four thought flashed through his mind. What just happened? Am I dead? Was that on purpose? and Why is she so damn beautiful? "I-it's perfectly fine...."

I looked at him and reached my hand for his to pulled him up on his feet. "You okay?" I asked my stomach doing flips. My face was covered with nervousness but my heart filled with want. My mind kept screaming at me that I was an idiot while my heart was screaming KISS HIM! I just didn't do anything but stand there with my feeling jumping all around inside me.

It was like a hurrican of feelings. He wanted to yell at her for taking his first kiss, but he also wanted to give her another. He combatted as many as he could, swallowing all the most powerful ones as soon as possible, trying to keep in his right mind. 'Anyways perhaps I should check that and make sure it's not broken,' is what his mind told him to say, however it came out as "again?"

I looked up at him quickly. "What again?" Did he mean kiss again? Her mind screamed at her STUPID! YOU'RE IN OVER YOUR HEAD! While her heart scream YES! KISS HIM NOW! Out of no where she crumbled and gave into her hearts desires. Before she knew it her lips were touching his in a loving way as she mentally slapped herself. She quickly pulled back and turned an even brighter red.

Alecs eyes could barely grow any larger, but of course they did. "I think...It's more like this." He flitted his eyes shut and brought her into another soft kiss. He sighed slightly when it was over, trying to get his thoughts straight.

I felt like I was on the brink of insanity. I was acting so unlike myself. I was even more surprised when he kissed me so softly. My thoughts were so jumbled it was unreal. When he pulled away my heart was left with no feeling but want. I wanted the kiss to never end. I nearly didn't believe it. I felt as if I were to blink that I would end up waking up in the cabin staring at the roof heart filled with sorrow. My dreams constantly would taunt me with fantasy's that never become reality. I closed my eyes and kept them that way until I counted to ten. When I opened my eyes all I saw was his face and a small tear fell from my face. The tear was full of joy. I had been kissed before but had never felt like this. I didn't even bother wiping the tear for I wanted it to be seen.

I reached out gently with one finger, caught her tear, and then lowered my hand from her face, "Did you know, that only sad tears are salty?" I wrapped both my arms around her, gently holding her to me, swaying us back and forth gently. "I'll always be here for you," I whispered into her ear, as soft as possible.

I smiled at him happily. I wrapped my arms around him tightly and swayed with him laughing lightly for I was so full of joy. I buried my face in his shoulder smiling. When he whispered those six words to me I felt my heart melt. I smiled and looked at him. "Good. Cause I'm going to need you. Always." I look into his beautiful eyes and kiss him gently on the lips.

Wait...What did I say? I turned in mid-sway, and sent us both to the ground, laughing. "So, How about dinner and a movie?" I asked, suddenly aware of all my flaws, my hend immediately combing my hair instinctivley. My eyes flicked to the excess fat on my stomach, and my fingers found their way to the scruff, and crudely shaved chin of mine.

I laughed as we hit the ground. I sat up and smiled at him. "A movie and dinner would be great." There seemed to be a nervousness in his eyes. I was confused by this for he had nothing to be nervous about. I removed his hand from his face and replaced it with mine caressing him. I smiled happily and arose from the ground holding his hand tugging it for him to get up too.

I smiled slightly and yanked her back down on top of me, immediately kissing her. Taking in her scent, when all of a sudden he was hit with a realization. "Why do women feel the need to smell like Desserts?"

I laughed and kissed him. "Because strawberry shortcake is the only cheap body spray I can afford on my salary working at the camp store." I joked, though it was true. I kissed him on the cheek smiling at him happily.

I felt the slight urge to laugh, but allowed it to pass. I suddenly didn't feel like laughing, or well anything really. "Why is it? Why is it that pieces of your heart weigh more when sitting at the bottom of your stomach?"

I paused, allowing the wind to carry off my train of thought. "Nothing...Forget it." It had been too long since things went in such a way. Did Wade struggle in such a way when it came to these things?

I frowned. "Are you sure?" I didn't want him to be upset about anything. I hugged him tightly and reassuringly. "You can tell me anything you know." I told him.

Not true. "Yeah, I'm sure." I felt the slight tug of wind as suddenly a knife protruded from my chest. I stared at it, thinking 'That's not supposed to be there,' before collapsing to the floor. "You're sin is payed in full."

I looked down at Alec i shock. He was on the ground with a knife comming out of his chest. I was too scared to scream. I fell to my knees, clueless as to what to do. "Um," Soon my confusion left me and I felt anger well up inside me. I jumped up and screamed with all my might. "Show yourself coward!" The knife couldn't have just appeared. "Show yourself!"

The shadows were obscenely still as I lay there, wondering why I chose to wear this T-shirt. Not why I was hurt, or what sin I committed, just pure T-shirt. Hell, if you were dying, you'd want to be wearing your most comfortables also right? Then my thoughts danced over to whether the hole that would be in my shirt would show in the underworld. That would be so embarrasing. Being the only kid with a ripped T would suck.

I continued to scream until I snapped out of it. Obviously whoever had done it was too much of a wimp to show themselves. I kneeled down by Alec. "I'm sorry." I said staring down at him. I felt guilty for I couldn't do anything. I was no Apollo kid and I couldn't carry him to the infirmary. I sighed and thought. The idea popped in my head at that moment. The board. I jumped up and ran for the board.
