The Movies with a touch of Darkness (Blake)

"Whatever you want to do next, there is a lot to do here." Ethan smiled. He was happy that Avril was having a great time. Getting off the ride, he started to look around. There is a lot to do here, Ethan thought and smiled to himself. A woman came up with a plate of strawberry and chocolate cupcakes. Taking one for himself, Ethan had the best time of his life.

Avril looked at the girl quickly before taking the cupcake. She had heard of the Lotus Casino, she wasn't an idiot. They didn't look bad, she took a bite. Not Lotus from what she knew. She gave the lady a nod and looked over at the arcade. "There?" She asked, pointing towards it.

"Okay." Ethan said. Ethan bit into the cupcake, there hasn't been something suspicious here in a while. Walking over to the Arcade area, they had Pacman, Super Mario Bros, and everything. All retro games were place here, any game you can think of would be place here in the Arcade. The place was small in the outside but big in the inside. It was like magic. Ethan loved that word. "The best thing is you don't need any coins to play, you just press start." Ethan smiled.

Avril was getting a weird vibe about this place. There was so much, and not to mention the sizes of everything. Th arcade looked like it could go on forever, with every game you could think of. You didn't need to spend money on anything, and girl kept on coming up to them offering them the cupcakes. She refused one and they looked at her like she had gone insane. She looked at Ethan, "Do you want to go now?" she asked. Her normal personality was settling in, and it was telling her that something was wrong, very wrong.

Ethan was playing on the pacman arcade that was going onto millions of levels. He couldn't stop laying his eyes on it. It was so amazing, just when Ethan was about to take another bite into his cupcake he heard Avril. Noticing that Gary was not Gary, he didn't have an accent like Gary. Or it wasn't fat like Gary. "That's not Gary!" Ethan yelped, but closed his mouth. The man who supposedly be Gary was something else giving Avril and Ethan a evil grin. And also was blocking the exit. "We need to get out of here."

Avril looked at him, "You think?" she said sarcastically. She sighed, she didn't have really good powers, lucky them she had her sword, if no one noticed, hell. She didn't care if someone saw. She forced another tray away. "Is it the Lotus flower?" she looked over at Ethan quickly, forcing herself through more and more people blocking the exit, as if they all knew what they were supposed to be doing. "Creepy." they were in sync. She gulped. This was NOT supposed to happen. At all. She forced someone to the ground, her rage partially taking over, the trey of cupcakes fell to the floor, she went over to one random kid, "What year is it?" she asked, looking at him, "2002, duh." she rolled her eyes, great. If it wasn't the lotus, it was something like it. She looked at Ethan, "Any ideas?" she asked.

Ethan started to shrug when she asked if they were Lotus flowers and said, "Maybe." He was also getting a little dizzy half of him wanted to stay here and the other half of him wanted to leave. Now thinking he should have never eaten something that suspicious. Looking around and started to laugh. This was his staying side, but Ethan fought it off. Shaking or slapping his head from time to time. When Avril asked for an Idea he had a plan. "Alright, since I'm a son of Hecate I can probably jinx people's brains and try to make them attack people. But that's seriously gonna take forever. So let's just try to fight our way out." Ethan whispered. But right behind him the so-called Gary was behind them saying, "That sound's like a great Idea!" And started to grow long and sharp nails, kicking Ethan way back that he fell on the dance floor. Staggering to get up he whispered, "Magica" in greek. And reached into his pocket, a double sided celestial bronze sword came out. "Now it's a party."

"Damn." Avril Muttered as the guy morphed. She glared as she went straight for the door as the guy wasn't in front of it. Someone moved with speed that she didn't know anyone could have. She looked around, trying to find another exit... there was some kind of a scooter thing over by the roller-coaster. She ran for it, jumping over anything that tried to trip her, and resulted in getting something slapped against her face, making her lip bleed insanely. She groaned slightly, but continued running towards it, she could use this... maybe.

They had to know that they were... "Demi-God. Welcome." someone said, she looked around, looking for the voice, she was getting dizzy, it was soothing, almost as if she could stay forever. She made it back to Ethan, she sighed, she had no powers other than seeing the dead... she couldn't think of anyway to make that useful...wait.

She whispered in his ear, hoping that no one could hear her, "Maybe I can see some past demi-gods that could've died here fighting..." she looked at him, she knew that it was a very long-shot, but it was what they had besides his jinx's. She sighed, focusing on one spot in the room, trying to hear, see, listen. She blocked out her outer hearing, focusing only on her mind. Naturally, she couldn't hear anybody yelling or screaming at her while she tried to tune into ghosts.

She opened her eyes, All hell was ready to break loose, they were closing in on them. If they didn't do anything soon... they were dead.

Ethan was having problems of his own. The waitresses skin started to turn white. Vampire white. Starting to jab at her, but missed. She was moving way to fast, that Ethan swore he was looking at a blur. There was only two around him, he was strong enough to take them out, but this was not a mission. Running over the waitresses, seeing the exit was not blocked an Avril was going to it also. Just when he was about to run one of the waitresses grabbed him, but Ethan sent a slice behind him, and swore his back looked like it had flour on it. Patting it off, trying to run for the exit. But ended up getting pushed onto the floor, he grabbed the waitress and started to push her to the buffet that the whole food was spilling on her.

This was starting to get strange how did they choose them to fight. But then again they were both Demigods. Watching Avril coming back to Ethan he started to sigh. "Don't worry I got something up my sleeve at least." He whispered, but stopped thinking. And started to get dizzy again.

Hearing Avril whispering his ear. Ethan nodded quickly and whispered, "Yeah you try to do that. While I'll try to think of some spells." Looking at Avril, Ethan didn't know what she was doing, but nothing was starting to get right. And the next thing he notices that something odd was happening, some things were coming close to them. Dark things, possibly from hell. All Ethan just said was, "I hope this is part of your plan."

Avril shut her eyes, opening them to find ghosts making themselves known to everyone. "Help?" she said quietly, she knew that they didn't like loud noises. It disturbed them. She came up to one, an old Apollo kid she thought, he looked at her, an understanding passed through the both of them like a wave of thought and soon, ghosts were making things collapse, topple, and crash onto the vampire things and the weird monster dude. She looked at Ethan, "Distraction done!"

A waitress thing came up behind Ethan and another one behind her, she turned and slashed her sword through it, making it scream in pain. The other advanced on her and she was one on two, she couldn't see Ethan anymore, but she was sure he was doing something to help them. She got a scratch on her arm and she was sure that her left wrist was broken as she got thrown across the floor into a wall. She held her head, ignoring the stinging pain, lots of vampire things were closing in on her, like... 10. She gulped before fighting every single one of the vampire waitress things that were around her.

She somehow managed to get two of them out of her way enough that she could see a clear way to the exit, it was her one shot. She slashed her sword with the little power that she had. It was hitting nothing except air. She was going to die, she knew it. She needed Ethan to get a clear head. He had too... or else... she blacked out, feeling a pain in her side.

Ethan started to nod, but a few vampire waitresses was behind them. There was one behind Avril, and another behind Ethan. He tried to slash it with it's sword but it just dodged it, with it's quick vampire moves. Just when another slash was about to occur, another vampire swooped in and grabbed Ethan shirt pulling him backwards. He was at least surrounded my 8, 9, 10, 11, vampires who knew. All Ethan knew was that he was in dead meat and in serious trouble.

Slicing and slashing, he found his way to the exit only 7 more to go though. Ethan was not giving up this fight, but there was not a big chance that he could have win. The waitresses started to ram him against one of the dance floor radios. He nearly broke his foot, trying to stop his self. Slapping the waitresses with the flat side of his sword. And actually taking out two more. Trying to actually think from fighting all these waitresses, he finally got it through his head. Seeing Avril black out, he started to do the fire breather charm. Ethan was hiding behind one of the DJ tables. Just when he had the chance, he reached out from the DJ table and hovered his hand over the table. A blast of fire came from it luckily not hitting Avril, because this charm was strong. He was out of breath, and didn't have any more power in him.

The fire charm took out every vampire waitress. There was fire everywhere, people were running out of the building and other were just still playing or dancing on the floor. Ethan started to run towards Avril, grabbing her with all his strength pulling her out of the building. He was carrying Avril over his back, and started to put her near an dark alley. It wasn't that dark though, since the fire department came and the police. With there blue and red sirens flashing everywhere. They were behind a nasty trashcan, but it was anything to hide from the police. "Avril, Avril!"

She heard echoes... that was all. She focused, trying to make sense of the jumbled up words. She heard her name, sirens. Her eyes opened groggily. She saw lights, and heard police coming into the alley. She sat straight up, only to find out that when she did...a huge pain in her head occurred. She shut her eyes tightly, trying to not scream from the pain.

She looked at Ethan, "W-What happened?" she asked, looking at him. She couldn't remember why she had blacked out, or how the hell they had gotten out of the place. She let confusion show on her face as her eyes adjusted to the darkness quickly.

Since the alley was way to dark, the policemen made there exit quickly. They went back to investigate the building that was on fire. Ethan started to look back to Avril, or at least the shape that was looked like Avril. And said, "You just passed out, I had to use wanna those charms to save you. Are you would've been in the mist." He was way to breathless to say any more. Leaning his head back on the wall, looking at the wall across from him now. Which had badly written graffiti.

Avril looked at him, "Thanks." she said quietly. He was tired, because of her... great. "I'm sorry." she said so soft it was almost inaudible. He had to rest, she wouldn't talk anymore. How is it that she always ruined things?

Ethan looked back at her and smiled, "It's not your fault. Without you, I wouldn't be able to do anything else. I'm just glad, I didn't go here alone." And started to look over the red and blue sirens. He can see at least 3 or 4 news reporters, talking about the building. This was not the day he was expecting.

Avril sighed, "But without me, we wouldn't have even come here." she slapped herself mentally. She was stupid, she never should've left camp in the first place. Look where they were. She looked over seeing reporters coming over towards the alleyway, talking about how the culprits would've run that way, but the police hadn't found them yet.

Slapping his self on the forehead. "This is all my fault. I'm such an idiot." Ethan said. Why did he ever take Avril to that building? All he wanted to do was just spend more time with Avril. She seemed to much special to him. He had no idea why, but it was just weird sense of feeling. Ethan tried to get that out of his head, and tried to think of his problem now. Starting to get up in the dark alley. "I think I know a way out of this mess."

Avril looked at him, "It's not your fault." she said quietly. She didn't know why, but she felt like he couldn't hold any blame, she had to take it all. He... mattered to her. It was weird for her, she never had actually cared if a person had blamed themselves, or called themselves idiots. "You aren't an idiot either, look who just got both of us out of that hell hole alive." she looked at him pointedly as she stood up.

Ethan smiled at her comment. Luckily he found a door behind them that led to deserted restaurant. Of course the restaurant was dark and seriously smelly. There was spiders on the walls and roaches crawling underneath the tables. It was disgusting, but it was there only way out. Since Ethan got them into this. He thought he had to get them out. Finally he found another door that led to the a side exit. And they were far away from the policemen and the reporters since the restaurant was big. "That was a close one."

Avril nodded, she didn't want to talk much at the moment. She just wanted to go back to camp, and forget about all the conflicting things that she was feeling. She sighed once they got out of the restaurant. "Back to camp, I guess?" she asked, looking over at him.

Ethan looked back at Avril and said, "Yeah back at camp." Wasn't this a crazy day, he gets attacked by vampires. And almost gets trapped inside a building. This would be a great thing to tell his father. Walking back at the same sidewalk that he came from camp. This had been a rough day for him.

Avril sighed, so much for actually finding a friend, he probably hated her now.She was most likely just something like a pity case... and she had fallen into the trap. She closed her eyes as they walked back to camp, her arms crossed in front of her as a barrier. Once they were back to camp she looked at Ethan, "Bye." she said quietly. She didn't let her face show as she talked and she began to walk towards her cabin.

Ethan looked at Avril leave. He felt this was the blame, he ruined the night. Didn't know why, Avril's been trying to taking the blame the whole time. She's been a complete friend to him. "Wait Avril!" He said running over to her. Starting to sigh a bit more, he couldn't kiss her. That would just be the weirdest thing he would do to Avril. "Would you possibly might wanna hang out again sometime? And this was all my fault, don't take the blame for me. I just wanted to be with you more, your a good friend."

Friend. The word rang through her mind. She bit her lip, "I...Sure." she gave him a small smile, like it was non-existent. She waved, trying to hide the weird sadness that was taking over her. 'You're a good friend.' She didn't know why that one sentence seemed to have such an effect on her.

"I'll meet you here tomorrow at Lunch?" she asked, looking over at him.

Ethan start to nod, a small smile begin to appear on his face. "See you tomorrow." He said, and started to walk to his cabin. Maybe this wasn't a bad day after all, he did survived. And got away from being in the news or worst jail. For a weird moment, this would not be a day he would not forget.
