"That's good." I say before she buries her head in my chest. I knew I should tell her that we needed to get her shoulder checked out. But good intentions and good actions were different things. I grapple my arm around, stopping only to find my arm resting on her diaphragm.

"Depends on your dreams." I look down at her. She was cute enough to be an Aphrodite girl in my eyes. I notice that her left sleeve was scrunched up a little bit. The little bit of her arm I could see, was pretty well covered in scars. "What are those from?" I ask pointing at her left wrist.

"Why... why would I leave? Because you're a retired cutter?" In all fairness, I did find it a bit odd. Cutting wasn't something you heard about everyday. But I wasn't shallow... ok I wasn't that shallow.

I shake my head at what she said. Everyone had left her. Did she really think I'd leave her over that? I stand up and walk around to her front. Kneeling down beside her, placing my thumb under her chin, and my bent index finger below her lip, I lift her head up so that we made eye contact. "Listen to me. I will never, EVER, leave you over something small like that." I lean in and kiss her before whipping a tear out of her eye.

"Everything will be OK." In the short time period we weren't leaned up against each-other, I had acquired goosebumps. Trying to stay warm, and trying to make her feel better, I wrap my arm around her and pull her in so out sides were touching. "Last night was possibly the best night of my life."

I smile but shake my head as she teases me. After she pulls away, I lean in and kiss her again. I straighten back up and smile once more. "This is a stupid question, but would you like to go out, instead of just making out?" Seeing how the shadows from the trees were being cast out, it must be about 6:30. Zinnia would have my hide later. Curfew was not something she took lightly.

A small grin creeps up on me. I wrap my arm around her waist once again, and pull her towards me so that we were touching. I was very careful not to touch her shoulder. The sun's ray's on the once very cold earth warmed it up a bit. Now It was just cold. The few remaining leaves fall in a steady pace. Leaf-2-3-4. Leaf-2-3-4. In just a few minutes the air would be filed with the songs of various birds. But that was in a few minutes. Right now I was kissing Nicole, marveling at the warmth in her body.

I push her head away for one moment. "You have some strength for someone with a broken shoulder." I kiss her once more. The birds were singing, as expected. It would be a while till the Dryads came to check on their trees. We probably had that long before someone ran us off.

I sigh. I guess it would only get worse. Oh well. I could take it for a while. "If that's coming from a shy nymph, how about we don't tell anyone about this night together. k?" A few of the nymphs did nothing but look disgusted, but quite a few had some choice words. I look towards camp. I could be a while till we got back. "Maybe we should go get your should checked out now."

"Ready to go?" I ask her starting out. I tried to take a step sideways. That way when we got back to camp, no body would wounder where we were, or what we were doing... That could be a bit humiliating. Despite my slight shifting, I still found myself at her side. This might be a long day.
