Essie gave a small smile to Ben for helping her. Besides, she didn't know if she could handle finding out on her own. She sighed, not saying another word, just looked at Justin, a plead in her eyes. She didn't dare say another thing. A wall of black was collapsing in her mind, making her want to leave. She didn't know if she could stand seeing a kid his age with scars all along his arms, making an indescribable pattern, the same on on hers.

Fine ill show you. you already saw them anyways. I pulled off my jacket and puled off the pants (he has shorts under it) Happy? you see the scars. am I done here? or is this interrigate Justin day?

Essie shook her head. "Sorry." she turned as she let a tear slip. She went towards a secluded a spot in the library, leaning against a wall to support herself. She felt so bad for what she had done. She felt like she should've maybe showed Justin what was on her arms, but she couldn't, Ben and Josh would be the only people that knew, and she planned to keep it that way.

I pulled my jacket and pants back on and walked to Essie. Look im sorry about that its just if you had scars like me youd do the same thing. i looked at my watch and saw it was 30 minutes till 9:00. I have to go. I told Essie and ben as i rushed out the door and out of camp and too my house. I snuck in through my window and waited to see what theyd do to me tonight.

Essie just shook her head and let silent tears fall. She dared not to look at anybody. That was the thing. She wasn't affected by his tone, or him being so abrupt. It was the fact that she had too. That she did have scars all up her arms. She put her head in her hands. No one would want her. No one would accept her. She made the thoughts disappear, the thoughts that had made her start in the first place.

I sat on my bed and waited. I was snapped out of my thoughts when my "dad" walked in hes grabbed me my the hair and dragged me downstairs. he threw me to the oven Yelling at me to make them Dinner. I started cooking and when I finished I served it to them. I stayed standing cause im not allowed to sit or eat. My meal must have tasted disgusting cause my "dad" got out of his chair dragged me to the base ment and started hitting me. then he pulled out his revolver and shot me in the foot. and continued hitting me. The next morning I snuck out my window and snuck back into camp. I walked into the library and hid so no one would see the bullet wound.

"Er, Essie." Benjamin nudged his girlfriend, and then pointed in the direction of Justin quick enough for no one to see. "I think we should check it out."

Ben made his way over to Justin. His foot seemed to be bleeding, but Ben knew that he should at like he didn't notice it. He would have to find a way to get Justin to explain his predicament by using persuasive manuevers. It was the only chance Essie and he had, and it was pivotal for them to help Justin.

"Justin, you're back."

Essie looked up at Ben. She got up, she saw Justin in a corner, hidden. She looked at him closely, his foot was bleeding. She made herself pretend not to notice it. She didn't know if she could get him to talk about it at all. She felt like she needed to help him, maybe it was the fact that he looked so much like Josh, or the fact that he had backed out of his deal with Jason, whatever it was she felt a need to help this kid.

Benjamin remained alert, studying the boy's foot quickly and anonymously. It didn't appeared to be a fatal injury, and should most likely recieve medical attention immediately, but he was well aware of the fact that Justin wouldn't give in so easily. He had to wiggle his way into the truth.

"We've been hang out," he said, eyeing the boy's foot, and then returning his attention to Justin's face.

I looked down at my foot and back at Ben. Why you looking at my foot? i asked pretending not to notice the blood. is there somthing wrong with your neck or somthing? I asked like i dident know anything.

Essie crossed her arms, she wanted to just pick him up and force him into the infirmary, that's what people apparently did to her anyways...she shook her head, getting her bangs out of her face. "That's besides the point," she looked at his foot quickly so that he couldn't notice, then back to him, "Where did you go? I wanted to hang out?" she asked, giving him a confused stare, the one thing she could be good at was lying, sometimes when it wasn't necessary she was horrible at it, but truthfully she could be an amazing actress. "I wanted to see if you wanted to help me with my shift at the infirmary." she added. f she could get him to come with her to her shift which started soon... she bit the inside of her lip as to not be noticed.

I looked at her for a moment then said. "I went to the cabin for a couple minuted. But sure ill help you at the infirmery when do you start?" I asked not suspecting a thing.

Essie smiled kindly, "Like..." she looked at the time, "About right now...actually." she bit her lip, letting it show, she was really going to be late for her shift, this wasn't acting."Dammit." she muttered. "You ready?" she asked, getting her things together.

Yup. I got up and Followed Essie to the Infirmery and sat in a chair and waited to be told what to do. So what do I do now? I asked waiting.

Essie smiled, "You can lay down in that bed for me for a while." she wLked over to him her hand close to where if he should run she could grab him. She looked at him, "lay down and show me your foot." she sighed.

Essie grabbed his arm, "Too bad. You'll bleed to death." she dragged him to the bed. "I won't drop it either." she was tired and her accent was coming, through, making it hard to understand her. She looked at him, "If you come..." she bit her lip, her hand still around his arm, "I'll give you chocolate or something." She shook her head, motioning towards the infirmary bed.

Essie saw the opportunity, she grabbed his other leg. "I meant this one. If you want to die from blood loss and make me extremely sad, go ahead. Have fun." She said looking at him. She sighed, "I really just want to help Justin. Please let me." she said, exasperated.

Essie gave the kid a glare. "Just stop being so hostile Justin." she growled. She sighed scratching at the back of her neck. "You know what? FINE!" she flung out her arms, "Leave have fun not talking to the people who have tried to help you." She turned, "If you want help go find someone else, since you obviously don't want help from someone who knows the pain of being beat up, and suffering the curse of cutting. Don't ask me." she said. She flashed him her arms, they were scarred all up her arms. She pulled them down. "Don't come to me to explain. I've tried so much to help you, you'll refuse everybody."

Jason saw her outburst towards Justin. He thought,Wow, we have so much in common. I would get mad at him as well. But uh, I should probably go help Justin. But I might wanna wait until Essie gets out of here. Me and her will never be together, and my jaw just got healed, so I really don't wanna push my luck. Jason walked over to where Justin was seated and tried to comfort him as much as he could. Jason thought that Essie was gone, but he did not want to turn around to find out if he was right or not.

look im fine its just she keeps bothering me about it. do you see anything on my foot that intrets you? I said pulling up my pants leg. I dont get it. I realy dont. Look I gotta go. I pulled down my pants leg and got up. I sneaked off of the campus and walked to my house sneaking in the window. My dad came in about 3 minutes later with his knife and he stabbed my stomache cutting it downwards. Then he decked me in the eye then the nose. braking my nose and leaving me with a black eye. the next morning I snuck out and back into camp going to the cabin to look for Essie. I saw her in her bed and Limped over to her. Look im sorry its just. Its just i cant handle this any more. can you help me? please?

Essie kept her back to the boy. She had meant it. He didn't accept her help before. He wouldn't need it now, would he? She sighed and turned over so she could semi-face him. "Why are you limping?" she raised a curious eyebrow. If he was hurt, then she couldn't tell, she was too tired.
