Training and Making New Friends

David walks into the arena and sees a guy hacking away at a dummy and walks up beside him and says"let me show you how is really done." David pulls out his nano spins the click wheel three times and destroys the dummy in under two minutes. Breathlessly he says"so what did you think?" The guy is astounded.

I looked at the guy who had just walked up. I watched as he destroyed the dummy. "I think your a show off and you just interrupted my training session." I told him. I walked over to another dummy that hadnt been destroyed, and continued on with my training.

"Well sorry i've been here for three years" I yell across the arena. I had a better time in the battle for the labyrinth i mutter to my self but loud enough for him to hear. I then walk over to another dummy and destroy it.

"and that automatically gives you persmission to show off to people? I've been here for two." I told him. I continued to train, for a few more minutes, and then I was done. I walked over to my bag and grabbed my water bottle and took a gulp, I then ran a towel over my head.

"yeah sure and being in major batlles gives you instant respect". i walk up to him and say" hey look im sorry for showing off okay one of my friends died a couple days after ."

I was shocked when the boy came up and apologized to me. "hey, its OK. By the way im Devlin, son of Hephaestus, Legacy of Apollo." I told him, my Irish accent was strong. I held out my hand for him.

I walked into the Arena with my dagger in my hand, I wiped away a little bit of my dark blonde hair in my face. "Hi guys, I'm Amber, daughter of Terpsichore, Muse of Dance. WHo are you two?"

Oh hey im David hammerling son of nemisis. i dont know who this is though.

"Nice to meet you, David." Amber said, blushing. The guy was really cute! She couldn't help it.

"Hey Amber, nice to meet you. Im Devlin O'Brien, son of Hephaestus, and Legacy of Apollo." I told the girl. I put my towel back into my back. I then slipped my swords back into their travel state.

"So are we training or what?" I asked as I did a little dance and roundhouse kicked the dummy in the chest and the head flew off.

Yeah nice headshot. watch this i said as i bloody spartan kicked a dummy and it literatly exploded.

I blinked, "Wow, that was really cool.." I said, impressed. I unsheathe my dagger and threw it at the dummy but it poked David in the arm. "I'm soo sorry!!" I yelled.

"Ah its fine i got shoot in the chest with a crossbow bolt though" I said as i looked at Amber lovingly.

I blushed as David looked at me. I walked over to him and picked up my dagger. "No, I'm really sorry I'm just really clumsy!" I said as I shuffled my feet a little bit as I looked into his eyes.

"no your not you just need some help i can teach you how to throw a dagger" i said. "And you're very pretty" i whisper in her ear.

I giggled, "Thanks." I said blushing. "So how do I throw it?"I ask him, handing David my dagger.

I clapped and smiled, I took one of my daggers and threw it st the dummy and it sliced perfectly. "Wow you're really good!" I said smiling at him.

A frozen teardrop silent as the snow chills her empty soul.

It was time for me to start training harder. I needed to get stronger so I could protect my friends, and maybe go on a quest someday. I've been in the camp for a year now, and I felt that my time has come to begin a new training regimen.

I stepped into the arena, mindful of those around me.
I pulled my snowflake necklace off and pressed the button.
I started to glow with a blue aura, and my frozen longsword materialized.
I jumped in the air and attacked two dummies that were next to each other, freezing them solid with the one strike.
I raised my free hand and froze the water vapor in the air, creating miniature ice darts, which shot straight into the center of the dummies chest, shattering the ice I had made with my sword. Beaming, I looked around again. A very beautiful girl was obviously flirting with a guy. I didn't really mind, in my opinion, guys just got in the way.

"Hey guys. I'm Naomi, daughter of Khione." I told them quietly.

the next day i found Amber and Naomi in a deep argument about something ladies ladies stop this bickering i say camly.

"Wow really, fine then." Amber looked at David with tears in her eyes and she ran out of trhe arena.
