Too Quiet (open to all)

Es walked into the library, it was oddly cold outside and she couldn't stand it. She sighed and got out a random book and let her mind wander freely. The book was in english and the words were drifting off the pages, swimming around her. She shut the book and closed her eyes. She hated being dyslexic, even more than having ADHD. ADHD was fine with her, she learned to control most of it, but dyslexia...that was different. She had no idea why she even came in the stupid library in the first place, she couldn't focus there. It just mad her mad. She sat down and sighed. Sometimes she wished that she wasn't a demi-god. she shook her head she couldn't change it though. She wanted someone to talk to her. The apollo kids drifted in groups that she had never really been apart of, she was just the quiet kid who was somehow one of Apollo's kids. she put her head down in the table trying to calm her mind.

Es looked up, "Hi, um, I'm Essie or Es." she half smiled at the girl. She sighed, "Do you ever get so mad you feel like you just want to beat someone up?" she smiled, "And it's not beause of ADHD?" she moved the book over to the side. Her mind cleared from the goey fog it was in, "Who's your parent?" she asked suddenly. She tilted her head sligtly with one eyebrow raised.

"Well, I've gotten mad before, but I've never thought of it escalating to violence, but that's just me. I was sort of brought up in a extremely non-violent surrounding. I'm a daughter of Hephaestus by the way." I said to Essie "Who's your parent?"

Essie looked at Sammy, "My dad's Apollo. I live here, so I guess I live in a violent surrounding." she smiled and laughed slightly. "How long have you been here?" she asked, looking at the girl. She seemed trusting, but she wasn't about to tell her anything, she was just like that.

Melina was exhausted after returning from the quest. You couldn't really tell, though. She rather enjoyed working, and was glad to return to her normal camp life. Instead of training in the arena, however, she decided to unwind, relax, and pick up a good book.

In the teenager's hands was a book titled "Music Theory." It's not likely for an Athena child to take interest in music, or any art for that matter. Though, since her older sister, Stella Johnson, also a daughter of Athena; died in battle, Melina decided to learn why her sister had taken such an interest and made it her life.

Melina had finished the book just a few minutes ago, but she still questioned a few things. First of all, she didn't know how to play an instrument, and where she was going to learn. Apollo children, she thought, or children of the muse of music. Easy enough, right?

The teenager wasn't exactly a socialable person, but that didn't stop her from trying to be an extrovert. She has been getting better, but it's still a challenge to even ask a simple question at times. Well, it's better to live what you've got.

Sitting at a table, Melina heard the voices of two girls echoing through the room. She looked up, only not to recognize the campers. She might've seen them at tables in the mess hall, but the demigoddess wasn't sure. "Hello," she greeted.
