Is it just a walk?? {MOON}

It was pretty quiet on the path, except the the occasional clicks from my crutches. "So..." I said, wanting to break the scilence. "You doing ok?"

Alissa nodded. "Yes." she replied. "You?" Alissa asked turning to him. She looked up at the path. Sun light streamed through the leaves of the forest making shade harder to find. The path was worn down, but still plants seeked light.

"Yea, I'm fine." I lied. I really wasn't fine. I was stupid, it was ok for me to walk around with my leg like this and everything, healthy even. But I had been walking around a little to much. And to top it off, I left the painkillers that I had back at home, in my cabin. I couldn't let Alissa know that, though.

Alissa stuidied Jake's face. "You're lying." she said sternly. It was on his face, pain. "I though you said you were fine!" Alissa said with a sigh. "Are you okay? Really okay?" she asked.

"Yes, Alissa, I'm fine. There's no need to worry about me. Lets just...walk." I said, wanting to forget about my leg at the moment. I wanted to forget about the world. To just, be at peace or whatever. Not dead, but not in pain. I wanted it so that way I knew that Alissa and Jessie and everyone else would be safe. For my mother to be able to support herself. I shook the thoughts away, and turned my head away from Alissa. I didn't want her to get mad again.

Alissa frowned even Jake turned his head away from her gaze. She crossed her arms and kept walking. Jake probally thought she was mad. She wasn't, only worried. Who could blame her? Alissa kept walking in silence.

I liked silence...but after a while I started to get nervous. What if Alissa decided she hated me? I had to say something, but what? I guess the only right thing was to tell her the truth, but I...I just couldn't. She'd get to worried. "I missed you while you were gone." I told her, still not looking her in the eyes.

Alissa nodded simply in reply. "I missed you too..." she said quietly. On a boat with a bunch of couples didn't make you feel right without yours. Alissa sighed and looked forward. The path was getting clearer, was that good or bad?

I hadn't walked this far on this path before. Were were all the plants, hanging over? "Is it suppost to get like this?" I asked. "Because I don't think that I've ever been in this deep before." I told Alissa.

Alissa shurgged. "I don't know. I was following you." she said placing a hand on her sword. Alissa heard a rustle from the shadows and saw two big yellow eyes staring right at her. She smirked at the challenge. The hellhound jumped from the bushes and Alissa slashed at it's side and struck it's head. The monster bit into her shoulder. "Eh." she managed as she stabbed the beast in the head before colasping herself.

"ALISSA!" I shouted, unessiserally. I threw down my crutches and heroicly fell down myself. I scooted right next to her. "Alissa, are you ok?" I asked, becoming very consernd. If it hadn't been for me and not wanting Alissa to worry, she woudn't be how she is at the moment.

She shouldn't have made that mistake. She missed, Alissa never missed. Alissa stood back up, even if she couldn't see clearly. "I'm fine." she said standing up. So much for this shirt, she thought. Alissa knelt down by Jake and helped him up. After handing him his crutches she sighed and looked at him.

"No, your not fine. You were just attacked by a hellhound. There's no way that you could be fine." I told her. "We need to get you to the infermery. I suppose I could heal you right now, but that would make me tierd, and I'm pretty sure you can't carry me all the way back to camp." I said, not really worrying about myself at the moment.

Alissa frowned, but had to agree. "Fine." she mumbled. Her whole left side was on fire, and full of blood. Most likely the infermary was her best option. Alissa started walking back, leaving a trail of blood drops behind her.
