Nala follows him slowly, watching him. "Hm. Do you really think you can win?" She smirks slightly, getting a bit competitive. She had this one. She skated up beside him. "You're on."

"Ok, I know I can't beat you, but I needed something to do," I say with a smirk. "Ready... set... GO!" And I skittered off.

Nala grins. "Okay." At the moment he says go, she goes off, picking up speed on the way out. She was going really fast, and the wind whipped her face, her hair blowing out behind her. She smiled. This was fun. Wait. CRAP. She was too close the the edge of the ice, and she was still going gods know how many miles an hour. She skids, but it was too late. She flew right off of the ice and into the water. Shoot.

"Oh crap!" I say as I stop. I look in the water. "Hey mom!" I say, "I could use some help right now!" and as I say it, Nala is in a bubble, rising out of the water.

One minute Nala was underwater, and the next she was floating? She sputters and coughs, shivering from the water. It wasn't that cold, sort of refreshing, but with the breeze from the ice it was. She looks out, seeing Calyx watching her and grins, giving him a thumbs up. The bubble floats over the ice and she pops it, landing on the ice. She gets up and skates over to him. "Hi," she says, chuckling. She was dripping wet now.

I start laughing. "We should get to the Infirmary so you can get a towel!" I say.

"The infirmary? Nah. I can just go to my cabin. All my stuff's there," she suggests. She didn't really see the necessity of getting to the infirmary. That place smelt like sick people. At least, she assumed. Most infirmaries did. "Sorry about my klutziness." Nala laughs. "I'm not normally like that."

"Ok, wanna' head to your cabin then?" I ask, offering my hand.

Nala nodded. "Okay, that's fine," she stated. She looked at his hand a moment before taking it. Aww, why not? They were just friends, right?

I started leading her to the Muse's cabin. My mind wandered off as I starting thinking. Did she like me? Should I ask her out? Did she not want to go out? What is she said no? All those questions were racing through my head at lightning speed.
