First Date (Open)

Juilet waited on the beach for a few minutes. She glanced at her watch. Josh wasn't late but she still wished that he would hurry up.

Josh showed up at the beach, hoping that his camp t-shirt, black jeans and leather jacket would be enough for tonight. Luckily, Juilet was just wearing a plain purple t-shirt and jeans. She was wearing a beret and surprisingly, she was wearing make-up.

Juilet thought that Josh look handsome in his leather jacket. his hair was brushed, unlike the time she had asked him out. "Hey there. Beatiful evening, isn't it?"

Josh wracked is brain for what to say. "Yeah. You look nice. So........"

Juilet blushed, " Thanks. So....How about we take a little walk?"

"Sure. So where are you from?" "Here on Long Island. You?" "New York City. I lived there for 4 years. My dad shipped me off to boarding school when I was about 6 or 7. I felt like he.....was upset about my mom leaving. I have no idea whether he know about her or not. What about you? What's your mom like?" "Oh. She's nice......she didn't know about my dad and she really had a problem with the mist. When this weird monster attacked me she.....couldn't even see or hear it. I felt like it was my falt. Somehow." "Don't beat yourself up like that. Your great. Your nice, funny, cute............."

Juilet and Josh looked at each other and kissed. So far, it was a perfect date.
