Climbing Through The Exaustion

Subject: Climbing Through The Exaustion Wed Jul 20, 2011 2:20 pm

I pulled my self out of the way and onto a ledge just missing the spewing lava. If I had been any slower it would have boiled me. I looked up to see Kat already at the top. She was laying down and mumbleing to herself. Last night was a really long night and now we are training. We were tired and I now envied Kat for sleeping at the top of the wall.

"Hurry Bella!" I yelled down. Then I mumbled, "Slow poke."

I went to the climbing wall and saw Kat (who was sleeping) and Bella who was trying not to get hit with lava. "Hey guys!" I yelled so they could hear me.

I cursed as I lost my footing when I heard Izzy. I turned and sat down on a ledge. I was only about twenty feet off the ground and no where close to the top.

"Hey, Izzy!" I yelled down. Kat just waved her hand half heartedly at Izzy from her perch on top of the Climbing wall.

I walked over to the climbing wall seeing my friends. I walked over to where Isabella was standing. "Hey." I said, smiled widely. I waved up to Kat and Bella.

"Hey kat, what's shackin'?" I asked. I started to climb the wall. This was soooo esay. I've been here for 5 years. I knew this wall like thae back of my hand. I soon made it up to Kat, daughter of Hermes.

Again, Kat waved half heartedly. I just rolled my eyes and waved down. "Hey Kat!" I paused a second. "We need nicknames for you two!"

"I'm here!" I called, still half asleep. I opened my eyes fully for the first time. They widened in horror. Real lava? Oh gods I was gonna die.

"Yeah, we do!" I yelled as I started to climb the wall. It was more difficult than it was at night, no doubt because the sun was so bright today. I reached Bella on her ledge and sat next to her. "Any ideas?"

"Climb Ally! Climb!" I shouted. "What are the nicknames?" I asked Bella.

I watched Izzy pass me on the wall. I didn't care. This was the one spot on the wall that lava was spurted on so I was good where I was. I watched as Ally appeared with Kat at the bottom of the wall. Ally's eyes widened when she saw the lava. Oh yeah, I thought. She was new. I chuckled silently once.

"C'mon up guys!" I called down to them. "We need nicknames for the two Kat's!" I called up to Izzy.

"Hey Izzy," I mumble sitting up from my rocky bed. Looks like I wasn't going to get any sleep here.

"Hey Kat, you look...nice." I told her. I thought of a nicknames. "How about Kit-Kat and Kity-Kat? I called.

I started to laugh. "C'mon Kat!" I called up. "You would be such a cute Kit-Kat!"

"Shut up Bella," She called down to me. I continued to laugh.

"Uh, hi?" I said back to the boy standing at the bottom of the wall. I pushed my bangs out of my face. I had never seen him around camp before.

"I'm Kat, or actually I've recently been re-named kit Kat..." I blushed. "I'm a daughter of Erebus. Also Izzy's friend. Nice t-to meet you." I stutter. I always got super shy around boys. Like I wasn't shy enough already.

I smiled at Kit-Kat. "Nice to meet you to Kit-Kat," I told her. I started to climb up the wall.
I looked down and saw my two friends talking. "You two done flirting or what?" I asked.
"Shut up Isabella!"

My face turned bright red at Izzy's comment. Was she trying to make me die of embarrassment? I decided to keep climbing from the ledge and made it up to Izzy in a few minutes.

When I reached the top, I sat next to Izzy. "Was that really necessary?" I ask her quietly. "I mean, like I'm not awkward enough on my own. Gods!"
