I close my eyes and just lean back, letting him deal with whatever he needed to; not wanting to mess anything else up.

I suddenly begin to worry; what if he hurts himself even more because I'm not helping him?

I pause for a moment. "I-I am not sure." I take a deep breath and grab a pillow from my bag. I lift up his head and place the pillow under it.

I walk down to the beach and sigh laying down in the sand. I look around me and see a few people, just great...

Alice sighed. "Whatever." She had given up. "My mother is dead, I'm adopted to a man who is abusive, I have no real family, and no real friends." Alice said, head down. Tears filled her eyes, but she held them back.
