Strategizing ( Private)

I paced back and forth while watching an iris message, no one was talking to me but I knew what I was seeing, I was watching a failed combat mission and I knew I would have to lead a quest to rescue the two campers, someone had known they were coming, they'd been ambushed, I waved my hand through the iris message and I watched it as it dissipated.

Cole walked into the forest with his hands in his pockets. Not really knowing why he was there he looked around and breathed the sweet forest-scented air. It calmed him down.Then he saw one off the girls from Camp standing in front of an Iris Message. After the Message dissipated, Cole walked up behind her. "Hey," he said. "Wat'cha doing?"

Cole frowned. "Which combat mission?" he asked, knowing that Aria was supposed to be in a combat mission. He flipped his hair to the side and waited for a reply from her.

Cole's eyes, flashed with anger. "What do you mean by failed?" he asked, his hands turning into a grip. "Is Aria okay?"

" I don't know, they were ambushed, a spy told Kronos, I don't know their condition, I got an iris message thats it " I say flatly

Coles eyes turned a dark blue color. "Ambushed? Spy?" he started to glare at nothing in particular. "Who the Hades is this spy? I'll rip his insides out. But first, where did she get ambushed and when?"

"Hurt?" Cole asked. His glare got harder and he was keeping himself from punching a tree. "Well, then that means I have to go get her." Cole looked at Angela. "Do you at least know where they were headed?"

" She's not a baby she can take care of herself and its not like she's alone, they were headed to the titan base " I say sharply

Cole was glaring. "I know she can, but you can't stop me from worrying about someone I care about," he snapped. "And if they were captured they were probably taken to the Titan Base Camp."

" I'm not stupid I know where they would take them " I say irritated, this boy needed to calm down everything was under control, we were already trying to put together a quest to go help Aria and Kristen. It wasn't like we weren't going to do anything, some people just overreact when its really not necessary.

Cole looked at her, his anger dissipating slightly. "I know most children of Athen aren't stupid, I'm just pointing of the obvious," he said. "But if there's a quest that's gonna send help to find them, I want in."

" You can't just invite yourself, in case you haven't noticed I'm the quest leader so I get to pick who comes along on this quest, maybe I don't want you to come on this quest " I say pointedly, why were quests so frustrating

"Well, a reason you might want me on this quest is because I might actually be able to help," Cole said while looking at her straight in the eye. "And I want to help find Aria."

" How can you be helpful, I have a lot of things on my plate at the moment and that includes establishing an empathy link, I don't need one more thing to worry about " I say annoyed, this whole quest thing was really stressing me out.

Cole looked at her before saying, "Listen, I know you're stressed, but I really can help. I'm good at making attack plans, and I really want to find Aria."

" I don't know I need someone to form an empathy link and I already have chosen one person to come along but if you came as well I don't think I'd have anyone to help me with the link and the empathy link is crucial to finding them and making sure that they are okay " I say frustrated

Cole sighed. "I sadly I know no one who can make an empathy link but, I could ask my friend Mikayla, although she's a Daughter of Hecate I think she said once said she can form empathy links."

" its not that hard, you just have to know the person well and clear your mind and only think about them and then boom you have a link " I say

Cole slapped his forehead. "Right," he said. "Erm... I knew that." NOT. "You know, I could form an empathy link with Aria if you want me to."

" I don't know....... its dangerous " I say cautiously, as much as I wanted the empathy link I didn't want to put someone in danger although it really needed to be done and I wasn't able to form the link because I didn't know Kristen or Aria

Cole looked at Angela again. "I'm not afraid of danger," he said with a hint of cofounder at his voice. "Danger should be afraid of me. Really, Angela I can make this empathy link. Just tell me what you think will happen once the link is up."
