| Name: Pierre de la Rousse Age/Birthday: 14 years old - birthdate January 15 Gender: Male God Parent: Hermes Claimed: Yes Mortal Family: Ami de la Rousse (mother); Marius de la Rosse (grandfather;no longer in contact with Pierre) Melissa de la Rousse (grandmother; no longer in contact with Pierre) Years in Camp: 4 Brief History: Ami de la Rousse - Pierre's mother - was a smart, popular girl who was panning on attending Havard - until she fell in love with Hermes and gave birth to Pierre while she was still in her teens. She chose not to put him up for adoption - instead, she took two jobs, leaving Pierre at home by himself most of the time. From the first day he started kindergarten, it was evident that Pierre possesed great intellectual potential, because while he did have some learning disabilities, he was great with numbers and economics. Pierre grew up going to a poor school in a poor area of Chicago - but still managed to excel in his studies and grow independently because Ami was never around - although because of the ADHD, dyslexia, and just his sullen personality, Pierre didn't have many friends. As soon as she deemed him to be old enough, the busy, the poor young woman started shipping him off to Camp Half Blood year-round. Physical Appearance: when you first see Pierre, he looks laughable. He's the kind of boy you would typically picture as the shy, geeky computer whiz at school - thick, messy, too-long blonde hair, knobby knees, ankles, and arms, thick Coke-bottle glasses, and the fact that he always wears button-ups and cargo pants - the boy doesn't even own a pair of jeans. That's not the funny thing, thouh. What makes you laugh is his expression - whereas you either picture the nerds at your school to be constantly blushing and smiling shyly or wearing a smug grin plastered across their face, Pierre scowls. Har. is face is always downcast and shadowy....and he almost never smiles. Personality: Pierre is the type that no one really knows. Outwardly, he seems like a sullen, bantam person - the boy explodes very easily, and he never talks to everyone, and he boasts too much about his studies - like he prides himself above all others. He acts agrily nonchalant, putting on a scowling mask whenever he can. but the truth? Pierre is very insecure underneath. he knows that people don't like him, he knows that he has no friends, no girlfriend, no nothing - and he feels like he has to study to make up for all of that. The truth is, if he knew a person he could just be himself with, he'd be happy. Fatal Flaw: Lack of self-control. Pierre doesn't know when to shut his mouth and how to control his temper....which could get him into trouble one day. Pets: None. Talents: He's a genius with numbers, math, and concentrating on things he cares about. Although his body is rather lacking in strength, he is rather nimble and can climb trees easily. He's great at arguing, debating, and the Socratatic - plus, when he really wants to be, he can charm the heck out of a person using cunning pyschologic tatics. And, while nobody knows him enough to know...as a son of Hermes, he has a pretty developed sense of humour. Weapons: Pierre uses (when he does have to use a weapon) a thin, lightweight battle knife that has no known name, but he calls Floga - or flame in English. Year-Round or Summer: Year-Round. Other: I know this sucks...I was on a time crunch when I wrote most of this :( I understand if it's so horrible it doesn't get approved...

| Welcome to Camp Half-Blood! Pierre is accepted!
No no, your character is quite great! I'm very impressed, in fact. Most people focus on having profiles that are extremely long but I find that just having interesting, well-rounded, and well-developed characters is much more important. Kudos to you for having such a lovely character! xD
Oh man, I loved the Hunger Games. I can't say that I was too big a fan of President Snow BUT he was much better than President Coin. xD |
