Bonnie's New Cabin [Private]

Bonnie eagerly strolled into her new cabin. She had just made the discovery that the Greek gods were existent, and that she was a daughter of one of them. Athena. It made complete sense, since Athena was the goddess of wisdom. Athena was the most intellectual of the gods; like Bonnie, who was well educated.

Bonnie looked around her cabin with her stormy gray eyes. She shared them with so many people; she concluded that Athena must have had gray eyes. More than anything, Bonnie was questioning about all of this Greek god stuff. “…That’s unusual. Multiple individuals here seem to have the same age, yet all of us have Athena as our mother.”

Bonnie peered to her left, seeing someone had spoken to her. A sibling, only a few years older it seemed. Most here looked to be a few years older; some as old as 18. Smiling cheerfully, she replied, “Hello, Elizabeth. My name is Bonnie. Bonnie Hale.”

Bonnie smiled. “I can assume that you are one of my siblings?” she asked. Bonnie assumed this because she was looking back into another pair of stormy gray eyes, like most demigods in the cabin.

Bonnie smiled, with curiosity going through her more than anything. Were all the Greek legends true? Were there monstrous creatures, and did the gods live on Mt. Olympus? Why was there a Greek camp in America? Why was she, a daughter of the Greek god Athena, in America?

“I have turned 10 recently.” She clarified. “I have a variety of things to ask about all, of this. The Greek myths… They’re not mythological, they are factual. That’s… wow.” She exclaimed, amazed. There were gods who controlled weather, and fire, and the ocean.

Bonnie bit her lip, thinking over what the conclusion of the question Elizabeth had asked. "I believe I arrived around 10 or 11, in the morning?" She nodded; that sounded correct.

"To be honest, I don't know what to believe. This is all so sudden." Bonnie sighed, and looked around the cabin with her stormy gray eyes, attempting to locate an unoccupied bunk.

Bonnie smiled. “Thank you … and I’d just like to call attention to the fact most of the bunks have a book atop them …” It was true. Several had thick novels, while others had simple magazines. Bonnie finally recognized the unoccupied bunk bed, for Elizabeth had pointed it out to her.

“Thanks, again,” said Bonnie, sitting atop her new bunk. It had that fresh smell, like someone had cleaned it recently, and the mattress was definitely comfortable.

“Thanks!” she said, gleefully, and looked at the pillow case. It looked old, like it hadn’t been in use for a few decades. It seemed a bit torn, too, “That pillow case looks aged,” she observed.
