I'm sure the lake would be cool...if I could see it [open]

He didn't even make an attempt to shake my hand, so I pulled my hand right back. Maybe he just didn't like shaking hands or maybe he didn't like me, but I didn't dare to ask.
"So umm.. it's nice around the lake. Like um, I love it here, I always go surfing here if it's windy enough, you can join one day if you want." I tell them smiling and all enthusiastically.

I felt uncomfortable again. I couldn't go surfing because i woudn't be able to see how to do it. And i hated being talked to and showed around like i was 4. "Uh..." I said. Should i spill the beans? I didn't know. "Can't." I replied shortly. I guess i should say so. It'd make things easier. Unless he got freaked. But that was his problem. "I can't see the waves." I said simply

I shivered a little, now I noticed what was different about him, his eyes. "Ohh I see now, you are blind, but that doesn't matter you still can surf. You only need balance and I think without eyes it would even be better. You just feel the waves, because I think people often fall off the board because they see the waves and get scared." I rambled, I loved surfing and could talk for hours about it.

I blinked my sightless eyes. "Uh yeah im blind." I nodded. "And i have no doubt i could feel the waves, the problem is learning how to do it when i can't watch someone." I shifted my weight

I kinda understood what he meant, I didn't think about that, he couldn't see how I was doing it to learn it, but I bet he still could learn it, I would teach him.
"Umm I guess you are right, sorry that was stupid of me. But if you ever want to try, maybe with smaller waves, let me know I am always there to help a friend out." I said and patted his shoulder.

That was nice and uncalled for. "Hey, thanks man." I said, patting his shoulder. "Will do."

I smilled to myself, I was always happy when I met new people who liked me "So what were you guys up to before I came?" I sat down in the sand.

I figured he was probably thinking we were on some sort of date, but whatever. That would explain his nervousness when he saw me and Jay, sitting near the lake, talking, at night. Yeah, that's it. "Nothing really," I replied.

"Oh ok, just like me, I guess." I stuttered and shrugged.
I laid on my back and watched the sky, the sky calmed me almost as much down as the waves.
I sighed, closed my eyes and enjoyed the silence for a while, then I just asked what I wanted to know "And how became you blind?"

I flinched. I always tended to do that when someone asked me about that. "I don't remember." I admitted truthfully. It was true. It happened durring the hellhound attack. I remember the last thing i saw though--or one of the last things i saw. It was my dad, laying on the floor with a pool of blood around him, his sky blue eyes dull and lifeless and his breaths taken away forever. I shuddered and went back to tearing at the grass. "Yeah, i don't remember."

"Oh I am sorry for being nosy, sometimes I just don't know what is appropriate and what not, I am sorry." I felt bad for that boy, I couldn't imagine how it was to be blind and yet he seemed like a normal teenager, easy to get along with.

"Hey man, no worries." I assured him cooly. Jeez Jay, way to scare him ALREADY. Yeah and sometimes I don't know when to hide my emotions the right way I thought gloomily to myself.

"Well, it looks like we're all getting along," I said. I threw another pebble into the water. I didn't know what else to say, so I'd let them lead the conversation. I fiddled with my dagger, waiting for them to say something.

OOC: I'm going to bring in my new Zeus kid. She's Italian, so don't be suprised if she's speaking her native language.I speak fluent Italian, so use Google Translate or something to translate. xD

BIC: I strolled through the forest bored as ever. Night was already dawning, and there was nothing much left I could do. I was more into training rather than just hanging around randomly. I noticed three other campers sitting by the lake, and with nothing left to do, I decided to join them. "Ciao a tutti. Ti dispiace se mi unisco?" I said with my Italian accent. I'd pretty much lost my accent, but I could only use it when I spoke Italian. "Sorry, sometimes I become confuzed with what language I'm using."

BIC: Oh man. Another person. "Uh hey." I said cooly. I was fiddling with the hilt of my sword now. Gods I hate being blind!

OOC: Jay: and it's all your fault Stacia!
Me: Hey! I was just trying to be unique.
Jay: oh yeah and instead of me like speaking Japanese or something I'm blind. Awesome.
