| Hi everyone, Please read my topic prior to this one ( It's Time. You're ALL Participating. (:) so you can all fully understand what is going to be occurring within the next few weeks. (: Please vote who you would like off the Admin team if you feel there should be any change at all. However, you do NOT have to vote if you do not want to. The admin who has the most votes will be demoted respectfully after one week of voting. (:

| Dan, this really isn't fair. For one, we're all active. Secondly, we all do a good job. And I like my position. I don't wanna get kicked out. >.< | |

Zan, it's been circulating for quite some time now, and we had discussed it with the moderators as well and it seemed the majority of us agreed. I know you all have been active, but really, it's really the members' opinions (on top of that I've gotten messages regarding this), and they really haven't gotten a say in much lately. I hope you understand... I'm going to PM you in a second.

| I like all the fact we have three admins and I think all three are quilfied. And I refuse to vote off any of the following It'd be different if one was never on or lacked skills but Dan Zan and Bunny are great and best for the job. - Dan wrote:

Some members may not like one of them because of somthing and they might get kicked because there not liked because they made a desicin as a leader. Being a leader doesn't not mean in anyway that your liked. If they have a reason not to be in charge then it has a point. But not a random vote. LOVING BEING ME

| Colby, it's not a random vote. There have been complaints on the admins, and the members need a say. Yes, the admins are my friends, but I must admit that we need new admins. This IS a fair vote. If you just plain out don't like someone, you shouldn't even be voting. We needed this, and I see nothing wrong with demoting one or two admins/mods. | |

| No. Someone (no names) were making admins/mods on their OWN decision. This isn't a weekly party, no, this is probably a final cut. See, this site's staff changes more than the weather here in NOLA, so with Dan and his amazingness, we're giving the people with the amazing staff ability who will be permanent unless otherwise. So, basically, it's a chance for the 'people' to vote and see who is a good enough admin, and who is not.[: | |

| Listen here Moo, I talked with another Admin here about promoting Dan. It wasn't by myself, obviously. So you don't need to keep bringing it up because it's a lie that I did it on my own. | |

| I never said you nor did I say anything about Dan. I'm just saying that recent admins have started to like make decisions without informing the people who matter the most; The members. | |

| Quite the contrary Colby, the members do in fact need to have a say in this. It should not be just up to the admins and moderators; and that's one of the many complaints that I and the other admins/mods have received as of late. We will not be having any monthly re-elections; there would be no point in that. However, this is rather just a final cut as Music said. We are all doing this for the benefit of the majority of the members, so that they feel safe and secure on the site, as well that we have a safe established environment. I did not come up with this on my own, nor did any of the others, but we have received countless complaints regarding it and we decided that we should take action on it.
Any demoted admins/mods will still be highly regarded amongst the users, though. It's not as if they're disappearing from the site forever. We still love every single user no matter what rank. (:

| Colby, just because all of the mods/admins are your friends doesn't mean that you can't believe one of them isn't qualified for the job. If you don't want to vote because you don't want to hurt feelings, then don't. But just because you don't want to vote doesn't mean that there shouldn't be a re-election. I think this is what hould have happened in the first place. Not giving members a say in leadership makes us seem like dictators. We're going for a democracy here, and I think it's the best choice for choosing the staff. Like Dan and Moo said, I highly doubt there are going to be elections like this every week...this (to me) seems like the final choice for staff. I am friends with all of the mods and admins myself, but that doesn't mean I don't think it's time for a change. Yes, I realize that it might mean loosing my mod position. However, if the members think I shouldn't be a mod then I probably shouldn't. It's their choice, that's what makes it fair. | |
