Aiyana has fainted from blood loss!

Subject: Aiyana has fainted from blood loss! Fri Dec 31, 2010 9:30 pm

Aiyana lay on the cot, silently sleeping, yet having her life silently slipping away. She had aqcuired the wound when a draecenae (?) slashed her back. The magic inside her was helping to mend it somewhat, though rather slowly. Something hurts...yet doesn't...so warm...

There were so many injured in the battle. I sat next to a sleeping girl, holding her hand. I hoped she didn't wake up soon because I look like someone from a horror film . My blonde curls were bloody and my shoulder was still bleeding from where I was stabbed. None of that mattered, because this girl needed more attention than I did at the moment. I kept stroking her hand, waiting for her to wake. Honestly, I had no idea who she was. I whispered to her, "Everything is okay. I'm not going to leave." I didn't want to risk giving her anything until I knew exactly what was wrong.

Aiyana stirred in her somewhat dreamy sleep and opened her eyes wildly. "Where am I? I...I...I have to fight...!" She immediately sat up, but the wound on her back began to pain her terribly again, making her practically yell in pain. Her abrupt actions had also set it bleeding again. Then she noticed someone holding her hand. "Huh? Who are you?"

"Woah. Hold on," I said as I helped her sit all the way up. I talked as I worked on bandaging up her back. "I'm Dylan, Daughter of Athena. " As I finished, I lowered her back down on the cot.

Aiyana let the girl bandage her back silently and gave a stiff sigh of pain as her head touched the pillow. "Thanks for helping me...I'm Aiyana Guan, Daughter of Hecate."

"Hecate...Hmm. That would be an interesting parent." I said, thinking aloud. Yeah, I have issues with just saying what I think. Oh well. I handed her some nectar saying," Have some of this."

Aiyana accepted the nectar Dylan gave her. It was sweet and warm. "Thanks...but, um, what happened to me? How did I end up in the infirmary?"

"Well... I assume you were injured in the battle. I'm not really sure how. You probably got clawed or just slashed across the back." I explained quietly to the girl. "Do you not remember any of it?".

Aiyana's face became thoughtful for a moment. "Well, I remember fighting and getting hurt...everything on me felt wet and red...and then I fainted." She still couldn't believe somewhat all that had happened. It just seemed so fast. "What about you?" she asked. "Are you hurt anywhere?" She just wanted to make sure she wasn't wasting any of Dylan's time.

I nod and reply,"Just my shoulder. My boyfriend was calling my name, and i turned around to find him and an enemy demigod stabbed it." I sighed and looked around the still busy infirmary.

"Oh no," Aiyana said. "I hope I'm not burdening you too much. You should probably go get a healer..." Seeing other people wounded made her worry.

"Don't worry about me. I'm fine." I said with a smile."it's only a minor injury. There are way more serious wounds that need to be healed."

Aiyana nodded faintly. She really respected people who thought just as selflessly as Dylan did, and strove to do the same. If only I weren't hindered by a gash in the back, she thought irritatedly. "How long was I out cold for?"

"You know...I'm not really sure. I was here for around 10 minutes with you. I don't know how long you were here before that." I replied slowly. "Is there anything I can get you?"

"I am a bit thirsty," said Aiyana. "And thanks for telling me." She placed her hand on her shoulder, thinking...I guess I must've been here for longer than that.
