"If I wanna drink, yeah." I looked down at the ground. "I have no special obedience weird powers, so I gotta act.... normal." Sometimes I wish I was normal. No monsters. No gods. No titans. But, if I were normal, there'd be no Steven. I kissed him again. I noticed that we kissed too much. So I hugged him.

"I know what you mean. I know I have the fire, but it would be a bad idea to use that to get a drink," I say smiling."At camp I'm fine, but in public I have to try not to heat a room up too much," I say, as the drinks arrive.

I sip my drink as I look at Amber. "You know what's weird though? I'm the one who makes fire and somehow your still hotter," I tell her, knowing that was a little cheesy, but what the hell. I was too happy to care how stupid I sounded.

I smiled at her. "Honestly though I think your the first girl I ever said anything cheesy to," I tell her laughing a little. "I've never dated someone that made me nervous enough to sound like an idiot,"

"I am absolutelty certain that I love you," I say hoping that wasn't weird at this stage in our relationship. "Now I have to ask, do you love me back?" I ask looking her in the eye, hoping not to get rejected.

I smiled and hugged him. "I do love you. I wouldn't say no." I said drinking some of my drink. The waitress brought the food and steak sauce. "Thanks." I said.

I smile at her almost missing the arrival of food. "Thanks," I tell the waitress. "And thank you," I say to Amber as I brush her hair behind her ear and kiss her cheek," for making me happier than I have been in a long time."

"You've made me happier than I've been in a long time." I poured a lot of steak sauce on my steak and potatoes. Hey, it tasted good that way. I passed the bottle to Steven, which was still full.

"Thank you," I say as I pour the sauce all over my steak too. "And you know how to eat a steak too. That is awesome," I tell her smiling. She truly was the perfect girl for me.

I was eating my steak and smiling about me good fortune as of late. I had camp, I was almost done with my car and then I got Amber too. "I have to be the luckiest bastard on the planet," I say not realizing that was out loud.

"Oops. Was that out loud?" I ask a little embarrassed. "I was just saying how lucky I am. I mean I'm the son of a god dating the daughter of a goddess. Most demi god girls I went on a date with were a little to battle ready," I tell her rambling a little. "You are very laid back and relaxed. Well most of the time," I add remembering that morning.

"Oh damn. And I built my entire reputation on being tough as nails," I say joking. "What do people back at camp no you for?" I ask. "I mean other than being totally awesome," I say.

I smiled and frowned, sorta at the same time. "Well, I'm a Aphrodite child. People think I'm always after guys. But also I'm known for being like the only Aphrodite girl who loves nature." I said.

"So you go against the grain a bit," I say interested. "Most of the other Aphrodite girls seemed a bit flirty. I could be wrong though."

"A smart demigod. You just defy all our stereo types," I say smiling. "I guess we're all smart somehow, like I am with my hands, but I get the feeling you meant book smart," I say. "Uncommon for our kind," I say. I probably should have said something a little more romantic, but I was a little short on cheesy one liners at the moment.

"Yeah, I did. But I still have dyslexia. I just had a tutor who helped me." I said. That was true. I didn't see my tutor anymore, though.

"Really," I say. "Now that I think about it, why don't we have classes for dyslexia at camp? It'd really help campers. Me included. Only reason I knew what I wanted here is because I came to Applebees a lot as a kid," I say jokingly.

I thought about it. "We need the dyslexia to read Ancient Greek better. It's really important for our survival." I told him. That was what I was thinking.
