We had finally reached Ohio, but finding the university Raymond's father worked at was the hard part. "Raymond, do you know where the university is?" I asked. I was born in New York City, but traveled all around the world with my dad to stay safe and away from monsters. I've never been to Ohio before, because the United States is where most monsters dwell.

"Athens, Ohio." I chuckled. "Kinda funny ya know?" I looked around. "Hmm... Ive been here before, where near Cincinnati. Not to far from there. I glance back at the Furies, but we should deal with them first."

I nodded in agreement. "Alright," I said, "Everyone draw your weapons." I pulled out my celestial bronze sword, and stood in a battle position. "We've dealt with giants, so I'm sure we can take these guys," I said rather confidently.

"Right!" I Drew a long celestial bronze spear. The furies took notice and glared at us. One said something to her sisters the the jumped up way farther than any old lady could and then exploded into an evil looking bat woman, the others did too.

I drew my dagger looking at the furie sisters. Looking at Melina and raymond they had their weapons too.

Makes Crystal's weapon stronger.

They took out red hot whips and lashed out at me. Which I jumped over. I landed on one of them. She scream and flew around out of control. "Whoooaaah! A little help would be good!"

I charged at the fury lashing at Raymond. "Take this!" I yelled, as I hacked at it's wing, and watched as it fell from it's body. The fury fell to the ground and disinegrated. "Well, those five years at Camp Half-Blood really have done something," I murmured. "One down, two to go."

He fell off the one who was destroyed. "Nice job!"

A fury lashed it's whip at Nickleback. He grabbed it in his talons and threw it back at her with enhanced force. "Haha!" Hooed Nickleback with delight.

I charged at the one Nickleback flung. "Thanks," I called back Raymond as I ran. I hacked at it with my sword, then swung, and followed with a thrust. Resistance seemed inevitable, it wasn't as easy trying to eliminate this one like I did with the other one. Slashing at it's body, I missed, which led it to pick me up and throw me at a tree. "Crap," I said. I charged once again, hoping to actually get a blow this time.

I lashed at the second one, who jumped back almost immediately. A threw my spear with the force of ten Ares kids, (which was a lot. Trust me.) It wedged into the earth About 5 feet to the left of the fury. The old lady-demon started cackling. I grinned. Just what I hoped. I dashed at the spear. I grabbed the hilt and swung around, and kicked the fury to the ground and used my momentum to lurch the spear out of the ground and stabbed the fury in the small of the back. It dissolved. Surprise surprise.

"Perfect," I said. I placed my sword back in it's sheath. "Alright, Raymond, you know the way. Where to next?"

"This way." I said, as I put the marker back into my pocket. "It's a 20 minute bus ride or an hour walk. Which you want?"

"I'd rather take a bus," I replied. "That way we can rest up, and be prepared for anything else." I rummaged through my pockets to find nothing. "Darn it," I murmured. "I hate to ask you this, but do you have any money?"

I rummaged through my pack. "Only about 50 cents." I thought for a moment. "But I have an idea. But it'll be very dangerous." I walked across the street to a pay phone and put the money in. Then dialed. After a second I said, "Sarah? Are you busy? I need you to come pick us up. We're by the train station on Sparrow lane. I'll explain later. Thanks, bye." I turned around and said to Melina. "Our transportation will arrive shortly."

"Okay," I said. I sat down on the curb, and waited for the car. I replayed everything that we went through in my head. Our existance didn't seem like it would last any longer. We've been attacked so many times in just one day.

Nickleback hooed and flew over to Melina's shoulder. "Do not despair, most demigods are attacked by monsters and don't die. Wait that came out wrong..."

That's when our car arrived. A silver minivan stopped next to us, "Let's go." I opened the door and sat in shotgun.

"Do you mind telling me why your out here alone when you're supposed to be at camp? I should call your dad." Said the 18 year old girl driving.

"That'd be great, Sarah. In fact I was hoping you could drive us too The University anyway."

She looked back at my siblings. "Who are they?"

"Friends." I said simply.

"Uh, sure I'll drive you." She said with a sigh.

"Thank you," I said. I jumped in the car between Raymond and Crystal. "Hectic day so far," I murmured. I fiddled with my sword in it's capsule form in my pocket. It's what I usually did, it became a real habit.

I looked back at the too. "We're almost there. You can tell. Apparently idiots really like to run around on the road around here. That's like the sixth one.

BIC: I let out a soft laugh. "Yeah, I guess so." My face turned serious again. I wondered how my dad was doing. Why was Raina being so quiet? She hasn't spoken since we were in the forest of Camp Half-Blood.

I rolled my eyes with a smirk. "I love America."

We pulled up on campus, "There you go kiddies." Said Sarah.

"Thanks, Sarah." I opened the car door and stepped out. I walked with my sisters, (and owl) towards the office buildings. I thought about what I was going to tell my dad when we got to his office. We stepped into the office building. "This is it." I said as we got into the empty elevator. I pushed a button and we were on the third floor.

"Here we go. Ready to see your dad, Raymond?" I asked with a smirk. I stepped out of the elevator, reaching into my pocket just incased anything came up on us. I turned to Raymond and waited for his reply.
