Luce laughed, noticing how careful Riley was. "Hey, it's not like I'm gonna break.." She gazed into his eyes then gently pulled away from his hold. "You're heart is beating fast." Luce pointed out, she took his hands in hers then held them tightly. "And you're shaking a bit too."

Riley grinned, his heart's pace slowly slowing down, but still beating faster than normal. "I suppose you won't, but I'd like to be careful." He spoke gently and with care, his eyes gazing into Luce's. Grinning once more, he spoke. "And your heart isn't beating a lot slower," He held tightly onto Luce's hand, they were warm, soft... And he didn't know how else to describe them. He didn't want to let go, though. That much he knew.

Luce was overflowing with happiness, her grin was brighter than usual and her mind was wandering off into a dozen places. She wanted to stay with Riley forever, never letting go and never isolating herself from his presence. But at the same time, she was afraid. What awaited them outside? What awaited them beyond the beach.. What if something would happen and she would lose Riley to a hands of death and despair; to the hands of a monster awaiting its prey.

Riley didn't want to let go of Luce, he wanted to be with her forever, or at least until his life ends. He frowned. The war was coming, so it could happen soon. What would happen to Luce then? He doubted a child of Aphrodite would head out into war, and even if they were, Riley wouldn't let Luce go. And of course, he would make sure he would return alive. But, what if he didn't? The unlimited possibilities on the battlefield disturbed him. Sighing slightly, he held even tighter onto Luce's hand. "We should head back," He began speaking, his voice was steady, and his smile was wide and bright. "It's getting cold, I don't want you getting sick." He kissed her forehead, which wasn't hard as he was taller.

"I agree" Luce nodded, her body was still tingling from the kiss but she shook it off, she had to get used to the feeling of being so close to Riley. There would be a lot of time and they would make the most out of it, that much she knew. Giving Riley's hand one final squeeze, Luce let go and winked at him before she walked back to her cabin.
