I smiled into the kiss, pulling back to talk. "It doesn't look like we're going to be getting there anytime soon at this rate," I pointed out between shallow breaths.

"Well, alright let's get in the car." I said running around to the other side of the car and starting the engine. "It's the perfect time to go clubbin too." I said.

I laughed as I watched him. I then got in the passenger side of the car.

Happily I revved the engine as she shut the door. "That's it love." I didn't notice that some one was heading for our car.

I glanced in the rear view mirror to notice a familiar scrawny, mop-headed figure with a goofy, red and gold usher' hat on the top of his head. I scowled, feeling my anger boiling. I quickly opened the door, clenched my fists as I glared at Alex.
Alex stopped a few feet from Penelope with a bandaged, bloody nose and still in his oversized uniform. "You can't be serious! You're actually going to choose him?!" he snapped.
I grabbed him by the shirt collar knowing he'd feel a painful shock from the sparks that danced around my hands. "You've got a lot of nerve vomit here," I spat.
ooc: Now you get to see Penelope when she's pissed off and tough.

"Penelope he's not worth breaking your knuckles over love." I snorted at the humour.

I glanced over at Wesley a moment, contemplating what I was going to do. I then turned my gaze back to Alex. "What do you want?" I asked impatiently.
Alex glanced over at Wesley and frowned. "Can I talk to you, privately?" he asked.
I scowled. "No," I answered, narrowing my eyes.
Alex shook his head. "Fine, but he's not going to like this..." he warned. He then looked at Penelope, placing his hands on her shoulders. "We've known eachother for seven years. You were my vest fried for two of them and for the next five years I was in love with you. I still am, Penelope. I want things back to normal. With him gone, you back at school and away from that stupid camp of your's!" he pleaded.
I shook my head. "You've already tried to do this Alex. And I chose Wealey and camp the first time. Do you really think that's going to change?" I pointed out. I leaned towards hum a bit with a scowl. "Because let me tell you something. Not only is camp much better than living here, but Wesley is a much better kisser than you are," I said, referring to the kiss he gave me in the lobby of the theater.
Alex frowned, staring into Penelope's hate-filled eyes. 'A better kisser, huh?' he thought, feeling anger and hate for Wesley begin to boil. Without really putting much thought into it, he pressed his lips to hers again.
My eyes widened. I shoved him away roughly. I could hear the air around my crackling. I brought my arm back and threw it forward with as much force as I could. I felt my punch go directly in his cheek. After I heard a loud clap and a flash of bright, silvery light. I turned to see Alex lying on the ground. I must have shocked him when I punched him. 'Fine with me..' I thought.
Alex groaned in pain, feeling a sharp pain and a burning sensation in his cheek.
I stared at him and his now smoking cheek. "If you ever kiss me again...I will kill you," I said, clenching my fists.

I got in the car, glancing once over my shoulder at the now permanently burned Alex. I then looked down at my hand I punched him with a sighed. I noticed the usual, rather bad burns that came with things like this. The thing about lightning with me is that if I'm not touching someone and I zap them, I'm unharmed. But if I'm making contact as I'm shocking them with a powerful zap, then I feel its sting too. My knuckles and fingers were red and burned from the punch I had given Alex. I tried to flex my fingers and I winced in pain. I dug through my bag, pulling out a plastic bowl and a bottle of cold water. I poured the water in the bowl and dipped my hand in, feeling the relief of the cool, clear liquid.

"I warned you." I snorted with laughter looking at her hand.

I shrugged my shoulders. "He kissed me again..it pissed me off. Now he's on my bad side and he will seriously regret that..." I muttered in a dark tone. I was hardly ever like this anymore. I always tried to control my temper after..what happened back a few years ago.

When she got this scary dark look on her face that made her look scary, I asked carefully, "What's wrong?" I glanced over at her as I pulled out of the parking lot and hit the gas.

I looked away. "I promised myself I'd never lose my temper and hurt someone again..." I said vaguely.

"There's something else. I know it. Your not saying the whole story, love." I said slowly. I was terribley curious as to what she did that was so bad.

I gave a sad sigh. "When I was little, I had a step father. His name was Harrison, but he went by Harry. He was extremely nice to my mother. But he absolutely hated me. I was only around six and this was right before I was sent to camp. He...well he took a step too far and abused me during one of our usual arguments after my mother had turned her back. And I didn't try to control my temper back then, so..." my voice trailed away as I turned my gaze to him. "I killed him...I shocked him with lightning and lit our apartment on fire. Ever since then I've promised to control my temper and never hurt someone badly because of it again. But I just punched Alex and gave him third degree burns. That's going to scar...he's going to have a scar on his cheek and it's going to haunt him forever all because I couldn't control my temper," I finished.

I was silent for a few minutes after the story, processing the information I just learned. "I'm sorry."

I shook my head. "You don't have to be sorry. It was an accident, so the the fire. But still..." I said. I rested my head in my hands. "I should have just told my mother how Harry treated me..." I muttered.

"Well often, fathers...or mothers in this case, go into a state of denial and they don't believe you." I explained carefully.

I shook my head. "I never tried. I could tell my mom loved Harry. I couldn't bring myself to ruin that for her. Who'd have thought that I did by murdering him..." I said with an unreadable expression on my face. But you could tell by the look of sorrow in my eyes that I extremely regretted what I had done.

I looked at his hand then at him and I shook my head. "I'm fine...I don't need to risk injuring your bad hand more," I said with a small grin.
