I sat watching the show. Wow her mother was excellent. I hoped she would be ok with him.

I ran as quickly as I could. I knew Alex saw me, but he just kept walking faster to try and avoid me. "Alex! Wait! I can't run down stairs in heels!" I called, waving my hands and arms around and probably looking like a maniac.
Alex stopped, keeping his back to me. "What do you want?" he asked in a dark tone.
I stopped on the step above with a desperate look in my eyes. "I want to talk to you ab-" I was cut off as he spun around.
"Talk about what, Penelope?! The fact that you know I've been in love with you and you still show up with him"!" he snapped.
I was taken back a bit by his tone. "You said you were over me..I thought.." my voice trailed off as I took a sudden interest in the bright red carpeting.
Alex rolled his eyes with a scowl. "Oh please! Everyone knows that's just what you say when you're not over someone! Penelope, don't you see? I care about you! We've been best friends for years! I can't just get over you like that," he said, his voice was pleading.
I fiddled with my hair, looking up at him. "Alex, you're my friend. I don't have feelings for you like that. I-" I was cut off as he quickly pressed his lips to mine. My eyes widened and I shoved him away. "What are you doing?!" I snapped.
Alex grabbed onto my shoulders, shaking me rather roughly to emphasize his words. "You know you have feelings for me Penelope! You know you do, I know you do!" he said.
I shook my head. "Alex, you're my best friend. I...I turn to you when I'm dealing with crap but..." my voice trailed off.
Alex studied me a moment with a desperate expression. "You can't tell me...that you didn't feel anything when I kissed you just now. Penelope I miss you! I'm tired of this half-and-half crap. I want to be with you! I always have! I never see you anymore!" he said, letting his arms drop to his sides.
I placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Alex..I spend the school year here in New York and I go to camp in the summer, that's how it's always worked. We can still be-" I was cut off by his sudden expression of anger.
"I'm tired of it! It's either me and your home in New York. You were born here Penelope! Your family is here, you mother is here. Hell, even your father is here on the 600th floor of the Empire State Building! You can't keep doing this half-year thing!" he demanded.
I shook my head. "Alex, Camp is my home. You're asking me to just leave it behind?! I want to spend the school year with you, my best friend. And then spend the summers at Camp.." I said.
Alex shook his head. "Not a chance, Penelope. It's either me, or them. Because...I can't just go back to being friends with you, Penelope! I've tried for years to just be friends. But it's too aggravating to see you with other guys. I can't do it! Take your pick. Me, the guy who is your best friend and the one who loves you, or them?" he asked.
I rubbed my temples, shaking my head vigorously. "I don't like ultimatums!" I snapped.
Alex scowled. "Well I don't like Mondays but eventually they come around anyway?!" he replied, waving his arms around in dramatic emphasis. "Who's it gonna be?!" he asked again.
I shook my head. "You can't do this, Alex. I can't leave my home. My home is Camp! But I can't lose you. You're my best friend...I can't," I pleaded.
Alex shook his head, taking a step back. "Then I'm sorry, miss. There's nothing I can do to help you, and my manager doesn't deal with things like this," he said with disdain. Without waiting for a response, Alex turned and walked away.
I crumpled to the ground, resting my forehead on my knees in a fetal position.

~Holy Hades gym shorts...that was a long one. Lemme top it. Or try. xD

When I finally couldn't stand the show anymore I jumped up out of my seat. Ignoring the protests of the feet I stepped on I tried to follow the way Penelope had gone. I was looking around when a bundle came barreling into my side. "Ow...what the bloody hell?" I shouted. It was German Shepard. My German Shepard, Goose. "Hey buddy." I said scratching his ears. Then I noticed I had landed on a snack table and broke a glass bowl on my arm. "Blimey, this'll hurt." Then Goose started licking arm as I shook my now pinkish hair. See when I broke the bowl, apparently it had punch in it and now one side of my head was pinker than the other. Not to mention my right arm covered in blood. So I started walking again. "Penelope?" I called. Ughh...this was not working. "Goose? Come here boy." I called when Goose disappeared to a spot on the floor licked what looked to be something crumpled on the floor. Then I noticed that the thing on the floor was a girl. A girl in a familar dress and heels with red hair. "Oh Penelope," I cried racing over to her side. I brushed her hair back off her face.
"What the bloody hell happened? What did he do?"

I lifted my teary gaze, seeing his pink hair and blood covered arm. I frowned, ignoring his question. "What happened to me? You look like you just got into a bad fight with a hair dresser," I said. I looked at the german shepherd beside me and I smiled faintly, scratching behind his ears. Why was it that animals could always make you feel better?

"Uhh...don't change the subject." I smiled. Then I got an idea. I tried to think of the most embarassin things that happened to me since I learned I was a demigod. Then next thing I knew I was blushing. I hoped it would make her smile.

I smiled faintly, seeing him blush. "Six," I said with a small amount of happiness in my voice. My smile then faded and I sighed, shaking my head. I quickly summarized what just happened to him, keeping my eyes on my shoes.
ooc: xD Ahahaha, okay then. I didn't really feel like typing a long explanation since you did read what happened. Curse my laziness!

"Oh, love." I said pulling her into my arms. My temper had flared up. I was usually very good at controlling it but now...I was blinded by rage. "I'm going to go knock the...eigth notes outta him." I hissed through gritted teeth.
~That's what I thought.xD I'm eating the best pop-tarts in existense!!!xD

I laughed lightly through the tears that welled in my eyes. "Is that how you Euterpe kids curse? Cause I gotta tell you, it's not as threatening," I said, burying my face in his shoulder.

"Well, love. You don't wanna know how colorful my vocabulary is. I've been around Americans long enough." I said getting up. With some colorful cussing I stood up and said to Goose, "Find the loser." Goose trotted off in a general direction.

I watched Wesley and Goose walk off with a frown. I was silently debating whether or not to let him go through with this. As I silently weighed my options I decided that I wanted a crack at Alex to. I stood up and walked after Wesley. "Mind if I help?" I asked hopefully.
