Often, Meara wondered if she even belonged at camp. Sure, she was a half-blood and this was her rightful home but, she felt out of place. She was so alone among her siblings that sometimes it actually ached. Like the pain of being the odd one out was not only emotional but, physical. Meara kicked herself for feeling this way. She'd lived as a one man party for so long that this shouldn't bother her but, something about camp amplified these emotions. Meara shook her head roughly and tried to rid her mind of these thoughts.
Taking a sip of her cappuccino and turning a page of her homework, Meara took a deep breath. She shouldn't be thinking about all this right now. She needed to focus. She had a massive test tomorrow and she couldn't afford to do worse than a ninety. She touched her pen to her paper but, everytime she tried to write her hand shook. Every part of her was on edge, over-stressed, and waiting for the catalyst. Angrily, Meara threw her pen on the floor, letting her head fall into her hands and wringing them in her hair.
