Beth was sitting at the top of Half-Blood hill, with her back against Thalia's Pine looking over the camp, in a decidedly bored mood. She was skimming through a spell-book looking for something that interested her, or seemed funny. She came across one that would turn some kind of plant into another kind of plat. She pointed at a blade of grass, and spoke the incantation, and grew a carnation, and then a tulip and she left it there. "Cool." Beth flicked her hand, and dispelled her magic, sending it back to grass, and began feeling the exhaustion from the magic. "Took a surprising amount out of me."
