| I HAVE DONE FOR YOU everything my love "Oh. I forgot." He said when she mentioned not lying on her stomach. He just wanted to be able to be close to her without it being weird or awkward. They had just partaken in one of the biggest verbal fights the camp had seen. Most people got mad and just cut eachother up. The exception being Athena, and they debated for fun so they didn't really fight.
"I sorry about your parent." He said, only later realizing his mistake of referring to them as one. In camp half blood you didn't refer to your parents. Your mom and dad tended to be totally polar opposite halves of you. You didn't really refer to your parents dying, because it was usually just one. It was just the way it was. Then she explained to him how Jesse would've followed anyone. He waited for a little while after her statement before he responded. He needed to make sure what he was saying wouldn't start a war. "I know. It's just he didn't follow anyone off the cliff. He followed me. There's no way I can not feel responsible."
Chris put his hand on top of Gee's and lowered them to the cot mattress. He looked at her hair, half braided. He smiled looking at her in the dim glow. "Georgia, I'm sorry about everything I said today. I didn't mean most of it. And I'm especially sorry about leaving, and making you think I was leaving again." He said. It was hard for him to apologize because it was admitting he was wrong. But in this case he really was. He never should've left Gee in the first place. It wasn't that he didn't like the road, he just hated being alone. "It'll never happen again. I promise."

| georgia anne wingstonGeorgia gave him a quick glance as he corrected her. Maybe she hadn't ever told him how much she had treasured her step-mother, despite the fact that they weren't genetically related. She didn't care about genetics, Elise had done more for her than her true mother ever had. "Parents," she whispered softly. Being defensive of Elise was something that the demigod always hoped to be, because the girl didn't know who she actually was until after her step-mother was dead. She would've lived just fine thinking that Elise actually was her mother.
She almost smiled at his response, about feeling responsible. "You can't save everyone, Christopher," Gee muttered, raising an eyebrow at him. She should be taking her own advice, being a medic and all, but she couldn't help it. Beating herself up for over a century about the same situation still hadn't gotten her anywhere, and the girl decided she had to live with it. Not forget it, but realize that her parents were still with her, in a way.
Felling his hand stop her braiding, she frowned slightly. She wasn't done with that. Maybe she needed to find new nervous habits, ones that didn't make her seem like an appearance-obsessed teenager. Georgia flicked her jaded gaze over at him, his smile making her nervous. People didn't normally smile when they apologized. "Okay," she responded, going back to her braiding shortly after her short statement. layout and graphics (c) sapphire

Can't save everyone. Those were surprisingly powerful words. There was possibly not a thing more true that could be said inside the camp. How could Chris think he could save everyone if he couldn't save himself? It wasn't that he tried to save everyone though. He just tried to save those he cared about. If he couldn't even save those few, what kind of a man was he. That may be why he enjoyed the road. He didn't even want to save anyone but himself. There was something about trying to save people that appealed to him. There was so much to lose.
He listened to her response after his apology. OK? That was her response to his apology. Maybe he needed to step up his game. But how was the big question. There wasn't anything that came to mind. After how he left her out on her own, after he came back, she had no reason to ever truly forgive him. He didn't think that he had really changed, but it's amazing what a few weeks of stress can do to a personality. He'd try to make it work, but some things not even all the time in the world could heal.
He watched her braid her hair. It was like every time she did anything, he remembered why he loved her. Why he still loves her. How could he possibly let her get away? It'd be a crime if he just let her move on. He wanted her to be his for the rest of time. This was his chance. He just needed to say so. "Gee, I..." He panicked when his voice failed. He just needed to admit it. Or if he couldn't he needed to come up with one good cover. He knew that one or the other would happen. It was just a mystery as to which one. Finally he heard his voice. The words he said weren't what he wanted to say, but atleast he said something. "I think I might be able to help your wound heal."

| georgia anne wingstonGeorgia continued in her braiding escapade, trying different methods as she went along. She tried making things continuous, and similar. At times, she felt like the world was so messed up that it needed some consistency, like the even parts of her braid; but there was always the uneven, or skipped parts, that made her question why she chose that type of braid. The silence that filled with conversation was a little unnerving, somewhat thanks to her. Maybe the demigod's lack of reply was rude in some sense, but she didn't know what else to say. She wasn't sure about anything right now, possibly due to the side effect of the medications pumping through her veins.
Flicking her eyes up at Christopher, she wished she had something to say to him. Really, her feelings were either one extreme or the other, but her heart wasn't exactly on the same page as her head most of the time. She could feel his eyes on her, a kind of comporting feeling that scared her and saved her at the same time. Yet, Gee couldn't bring herself to any words.
Hearing his familiar voice, she looked over at him once more, waiting fo something, anything really. Georgia wasn't in the mood for fighting anymore, everything had already been said. There wasn't anymore guess work in their relationship, it made sense, mostly. His comment only made her smile, a sad kind of smile that surprised even her. "I just need time," she said, squeezing his hand lightly. "I'll be fine, I always was," Georgia added, bringing his hand up to her lips as she kissed it. "Okay?" layout and graphics (c) sapphire

"Hey. Son of Chronos. I have plenty of time." Chris said at her comment. He had a kinda of smirk on his face, that matched every aspect of his personality at once. His right eyebrow raised, while his left sank over his socket. The muscles on his lips pulled back, leaving him with a cocky sort of smile. The confidence in his face faded, and he was left with just a normal smile. Something he didn't wear enough. He felt Gee's beautiful round lips on the back of his hand. If it had been anyone else, he would've expected to see lipstick stains there. But he knew Gee didn't really wear makeup, which made her all the more beautiful. He smiled just thinking about it. "OK." Chris responded smiling, before returning the favor and placing his lips to her hand.
There was no way the demititan's lips were as comforting as her's. His were severely chapped from the cold air, the wind, and the smoke. Just from the air and bad habit of biting his lips, Chris's lips were already busted and red. Usually his lips were busted from fist fights, or on even rarer occasions, a training exercise. No one really questioned though. It was common for kids in camp to walk around with incredibly minor combat injuries, like black eyes, broken nose, cut cheeks and things like it. Slowly Chris pulled his lips away, almost cringing at the thought of his rough lips against her smooth skin.
Chris looked at Gee's practically glowing green eyes. He could almost wrap his hand totally around her's, yet he decided to hold a single one of her hands in the two of his. He thought about trying to confess his love again, but seeing how well that went over last time he decided to not even bother. Under any normal circumstances he'd be tired at this point, from both lack of sleep and lack of interesting conversation, but he still had too much adrenalin running through his blood stream to try sleeping. He briefly considered leaving to take up the last part of the night shift, but quickly decided against it. The first being Gee was awake, the second would be the fact he would've actually had to get a shirt and coat on.
It wasn't until a few minutes of silence that Chris realized he was in almost the same position he was in his first dream. The one where Jesse slit Chris's wrist. He shivered at the thought, hoping that Gee would dismiss it as the cold. The cabin wasn't exactly perfectly heated. If it wasn't for the fire, it would've been the same as outside whether. However he expected she would notice. She realized his nightmare had been about her, what was to stop her from realizing he wasn't actually cold? He tried to think about something else, but his mind just redirected him to a different nightmare. The one where time stopped. It wasn't the frozen time stream, it was how gruesomely and terrifyingly Gee died in it that scared him. That couldn't actually happen could it? How could Chris actually be afraid that she would die like that? Of course, he'd rather not speed up time to heal her quickly. So many things could go wrong. "Gee, do you ever wish the world around you would stop?" He asked thinking about the only pleasant part about the dream. His eyes left Gee's for just a moment to look at the ever changing fire. Then they returned to look into Georgia's. "You know, to just catch up, or finish something you started... To spend more time with the people you love?"

| georgia anne wingstonGeorgia simply smiled at his remark, enjoying the view of his face lightening up. She hadn't seen him like that since Jesse's death, and the sight made her feel a little better about the situation. Sure, the world was still missing one of the finest young boys that it ever had, but at least the people who knew him were wishing he was still with them. They were also moving on, and continuing their lives. She hoped that Jesse wouldn't mind.
Feeling chapped lips on her smooth skin, the demigod shut her eyes, like it would make the rest of the world, except for them, disappear. She regretted their argument, but knew that it would've come out eventually; most likely sooner than later. Most things said with an angry tongue were normally untrue and rash, which applied, at least for Georgia. She knew that there were reasons for everything, even if it was out of her understanding. At least, she hoped there was.
Opening her eyes, Gee glanced over at Christopher, not sure of what to say again. She could apologize, like he had, but she couldn't find the words. Maybe she was becoming too prideful, too sinful, impure and too adapted to this century. She was becoming like this generation, typically arrogant and cocky. Georgia wasn't sure if she liked that side of her. Sure, the confidence was great when she had it, but the best of things always fade.
Hearing Christopher's voice once more, the demigod shrugged in reply. She let the hand that he was holding stay limp in his grip, not wanting to rid herself of the physical contact. There were times that she would've loved to freeze, and stay in that moment forever. Her first kiss with him, the moments before her brothers departed for war, the days her parents were healthy. Now? The demigod seemed to have time to lose. "Sometimes," she admitted softly, tracing a finger from her opposite hand over his knuckles. "But I have all the time in the world now," Gee added, looking up at him. layout and graphics (c) sapphire

| I HAVE DONE FOR YOU everything my love The world. That's what he was to her. The thought never occurred to him. It made sense. She was that too him. He just never assumed that anyone would care about after all that he put people through. She still loved him and thats all that mattered to him. C Chris smiled knowing that she cared about him. He opened his mouth to respond, but he decided silence was better. He didn't need to spell out the obvious.
Chris loved knowing that everyone was asleep. It gave them a rare privacy. Knowing that no one was watching their actions was a piece of mind that he needed. Chris leaned down his forehead and placed it on hers. Similar to the way that he did the first night back. The smell faint smell of her perfume or shampoo filled his nostrils. It felt like it had been so long since he breathed it in. That's what this place did to you. It made you fight for your existence, and stretch the days.
It wasn't until a few minutes later that he realized that he might still smell of smoke. He wasn't going to bring it up, and if she brought it up, he'd change the subject. He wasn't ready to give it up forever, but it wasnt something that would be a habit. There would be those days he needed one to even think about being relaxed, but for her sake he was done smoking. He still refused to move. He was so comfortable. "Georgia, I've been thinking. Maybe after camp is sorted out, we need to take a vacation. Just you and me in the real world, living normal lives. Just you and me, alone."
