Georgia Anne Wingston Daughter of Melpomene Georgia's green eyes rested on the child in front of her, proudly displaying his drawing of a bright sun with a smiley face. "It's beautiful, Kyle," she said admirably, giving the boy a compassionate grin. The seven year old demigod let out a fit of laughter. Setting a hand on the boy's shoulder, she shooed him off to go make a macaroni necklace.
The strictly raised girl rose from her kneeling position, to straighten her lacy sweater. Georgia flicked back a curl, placing it back into the back of her hair, next to her black satin bow. Her heart - shaped face turned to help Kayla, the daughter of Ares, who was the sweetest thing ever. "Georgie does this look like a bad guy?" she asked curiously, holding up a crude image of a stick person. "Oh, yes, he looks very vicious," the demigod replied genuinely. Watching children at the craft shack wasn't a normal teenager's idea of fun, but Georgie didn't mind it. Seeing modern-age kids was interesting, and she felt that she learned a lot from today's world just by the munchkins. Hearing the noise of the door open, she turned her intense green eyes to the coming demigod. hello my name is

My body flies through the door faster then my head could comprehend what was happening. Just like a school boy running from the local bully, I slam the door behind me. All my body weight rested against the door for a few seconds. Just long enough for me to hear several men clamber around the shack. I let out a sigh of relief and sink down against the door."To close," I inform myself. Had a part of my not yelled at me to stay, I prolly would've ran out the door to gods know where. I guess it was the rational part of me that told me to stay. Anyone who knew me would know this was the last place I would want to be. Still panting from my "run" I stand up and assess my surroundings. There were kids all over the place (not surprising) but in the mesh of kids waist high I notice one head that towers above them all. It appeared to be a girl about my age, with looks more extraordinary then usual. I wasn't one to really get into a relationship, but breaking a few hearts isn't always a bad thing. I gather as much pride and confidence as one can get after being hunted and approach the girl. "Hey," I say as more of an introduction of my presence than a greeting. "What's someone like you doing in a place like this?" Georgia Anne Wingston Daughter of Melpomene Georgia blinked hard, the slam of the door making even the bustling kids stop in their tracks. The teenager didn't seem to have much effect on them, however, as they returned to their crafts. She gave the boy a crooked expression, mixed with confusion, and well... more confusion. Sliding a golden curl behind her ear, she gave him a small smile. "I could ask you the same thing," she said softly, looking the boy over.
Her intense green eyes settled on blood streaking down his cheek, as frown twisting onto her youthful face. "What's a troublesome boy like you doing here, by innocent children?" Georgie questioned. She took a few steps closer, her small frame looking drastically miniscule next to the taller boy. She inspected the cut, frowning as she wiped his face off. "Even small cuts can get infected you know," the infirmary nurse explained, making sure the blood was off his face. The blonde haired girl backed off, smiling at her work. "Better," she said simply, glancing at the heavy doorway the boy was blocking. "Come on now, you might as well sit down, you don't know how long it could take those people to leave," Georgia said, tugging on his shirt playfully. She smiled, curls bouncing as she walked off to get another chair, preschool sized, but a chair none the less. hello my name is

I heard a door slam and several feet hitting the ground. I lifted my cane up ready to strike but they had gone. I knew i was in the commons area but what I didn't know was where i took a set forward and walked in to the door. I knew it was a door because it had a more hollow sound to it than the walls. I heard glass break and instinctively felt my face. "Dang it. Not again. That's the 4th pair this week." I said. I felt the door looking for a handle

When she responds by asking me the same thing I couldn't stop myself from smiling. This might work. I open my mouth to respond to her question to be stop short by her hand took the blood from my face. I probably wouldn't have noticed until much later. When she offered me a seat I couldn't do anything but accept. I was tired. I was also a little embarrassed that she knew I was being hunted, but that wouldn't stop me from having a good time.
I probably should've noticed the half sized chair before I sat down. When that realization finally came to me I was half way down to the seat. In a ditch effort to prevent me from landing on my back side, I try grabbing the back of the chair... We all know how that turned out. The thing toppled over from my weight leaving me stargazing at the ceiling. All I could do was laugh at myself. When I finally get situated in the seat (without falling over) I had to ask her a few things. Small talk is what I guess you call it. "Who's your godly parent?" That seemed to define people at this camp. A few moments later I hear several pats against the door. After being chased I assumed it was my pursuer. I leap to my feet and draw my sword, not letting it waver from its pointing at the direction of the door. Georgia Anne Wingston Daughter of Melpomene Georgia couldn't help but giggle at his fall, before biting her red lips to keep from seeming rude. She could hear her step-mother's voice ringing in her ear, saying, "A lady is always polite, keeping calm, always." Hearing the boy's laughter helped ease her resistance to laugh, as she grinned widely. The younger children let out loose fits of giggles, and Georgie felt even her face turn red.
Georgia sat up straight, hands in her pink-skirted lap as she listened to the boy's question. "Melpomene," she responded with a smooth smile. She loved the sound of her mother's name, even if it represented tragedy and loss. "Mother is the muse of sadness," the girl explained, before jumping due to the rapid knocks on the door. Shaking her head at the boy's rapid movements, she stood and rested a hand on the hilt of his blade. "Who taught you manners?" Georgia asked innocently, a smile painted on her bright lips. She swiftly opened the door, seeing another boy with a cane at the entrance, or at least close. "Er, hello, how about you come in?" Georgia suggested, looping her arm with the boy's and leading him inside the shack, seeing a group of Ares boys outside with an aggressive aura about them. Georgie could tell the boy was blind just by the cloudiness of his eyes. She had worked with blind people before, and knew they weren't really terribly handicapped. "This is the Arts & Crafts shack," the demigod said, setting him down in her chair. hello my name is

"The Arts and Crafts shack eh?" I said. I put my hands on the table and felt around. Chisels and hammers met my hands. I felt around for and grabbed some paper. What I was going to do with it I did not know

I feel her hand press against my hand and I try not to hide my blush. She asked who taught me my manners. All I could respond with is 'common sense'. She opens the door and brings in a a blind man who's around our age. I watch as she brings him to the table and he begins playing with the hammers and chisels. Finally he picks up a piece of paper. I had no clue what a blind man would do with paper but I guess that's for him to find out. I notice the door standing open so I go to close it. I may be easily distracted by pretty girls, but I wasn't foolish. I go to close the door, for personal protection. My next movement was to get back over to my "group". I felt an odd sense of comfort. "Do you know what he wants?" I whisper in the girls ear. Georgia Anne Wingston Daughter of Melpomene Georgia shifted her weight from her heels to her toes, going in the same rocking motion as she gave the boy a shrug. "I don't know, but I wasn't leaving him out there with those strange men so close," she replied. The demigod looked over at the other guy again, her green eyes studying the two of them intently.
"You two still haven't told me your names," Georgie said nonchalantly. She stopped her rocking motion and grabbed another chair, awkwardly situating herself in the small chair. The chairs were worn, with splashes of colors and glue sprinkled across the wood. Crossing her ankles, the perfectionist sat straight up again, her old-school instincts coming in. hello my name is

Knowing that they were still out there I was constantly glancing at the door. I was a little startled when she asked for our names, mainly cause I didn't expect it. I had to think of something fast. I could tell her my real name, and risk her knowing a few rumors, or I could make something up, risk her seeing through it in the first place, or finding out soon. I decide I was going to make up a name, since some of the rumors were pretty dark, but in the kerfuffle of thoughts in my head I blurt out my real name. "I'm Christopher Knight" When I realize what had happened I begin to mentally beat myself up. Now I could only hope she hadn't heard that I killed two campers. What most people don't know or don't believe is that it was in self defense. People do stupid things when they think you're working for the enemy.
When I finally got around to noticing her ankles crossed, and her near perfect posture I realize something. Since blurting things seemed to be my specialty, I do it one more time "You're not from here are you?" I question without a second thought. Some people would be offended by that, and even though i hated it, it was better she knew me well sooner rather the later. I smirked a bit. "I may be blind but I'm not deaf. My name is Jason." I said. I folded up the paper and slipped it in my pocket.

Georgia Anne Wingston Daughter of Melpomene Georgia sensed hesitation when the first boy was questioned, watching the thoughts practically show up on his brow from over-thinking. None the less, the girl waited patiently in her perfect posture. Once he finally did blurt out his name, she couldn't help but raise a judgmental eyebrow. "Are you sure?" Georgie asked with a giggle, smiling widely with her bright red lips. Nodding at Jason, the blind boy, she let out another fit of laughter, resembling the sound of bells. "Nice to meet you," she said formally. Georgia studied the Christopher boy for a moment, trying to place where she had heard his name before. She knew one of her cabin mates had brought it up once, something about him being a traitor, or something. Pursing her lips, the girl couldn't place it. She knew it would make sense, the way he barged into the room, or the cuts on his face; yet the elegant girl couldn't ever consider people to be bad. Her bright green eyes widened for a moment, wondering how he could tell. "Well, not exactly, I mean, I'm technically one hundred and eleven," Georgia explained, red coming onto her face. She always felt terribly old when admitting that. Age was just a number, but she didn't seem so old, which was horrid. Brushing her curls out of her eyes, the demigod tried to look at something else, suddenly very nervous and jittery. Her mother would've never put up with such fidgety behavior. hello my name is

"Gods blood!" I exclaim. It took me a few seconds to sort all of it through. She was the daughter of tradgity, so she wasn't a nymph or a god. Yet she still looked like a beautiful young woman. I had to think about how something like this could happen without me fully knowing. If my dad really had turned her aging back several years he would've told me. He didn't have a lot of kids to tend to, so the few of us seemed to know everything.
I ponder it over a few times before an idea hits me. I had heard my dad complaining about a place before. The fact he acknowledged it meant that it affected time somehow. "Lotus Hotel?" Although it sounded more like a question, I was really answering myself. I lean back somewhat proud of myself. The smirk on my face probably demonstrated that.
I didn't know a lot about The Lotus, but I did know it was a casino. "You don't seem like the kind of person who'd gamble for a hundred years." I say stating the obvious in a somewhat humorous form. "We still don't know your name." Don’t get too close It’s dark inside It’s where my demons hide It’s where my demons hide

I knocked over a few bottles of glue and jar of brushes with my hand. "Sorry about that." I said. I grabbed a bottle. I sniffed it and squirted some of the substance on my hand. I brought it to my lips and drank it. 'Paint. Why did I just drink that.' I thought. I made a face and spat the paint all over the place. "EEEEWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!" Came the automatic responce. "Sorry. I'm so sorry." I said repeatedly.

Georgia Anne Wingston Daughter of Melpomene Georgia squirmed at Christopher's instant reaction, her face redder than ever. She simply wanted to disappear. Her hands continued to wrap around each other, rubbing the webbing between her thumb and forefinger. "I think that's what it was called," she said distantly, her voice soft. Georgie felt old, simply old. Out of place, and unneeded. Who would want a classically raised daughter of the sad muse anyways?
She couldn't help but be amused by the smirk he had acquired from simply guessing the hotel correctly. "The place was more of a relaxing hotel, not a gambling casino, at least..." Georgia muttered, ankles squirming back and forth. "I do not gamble, Christopher," the girl said firmly. She fixed the bow in the back of her head, adjusting it to the side ever so slightly, and gathering her hair so it pulled away to reveal her face, and more of her eyes. Green, intense, sad eyes. "I should be dead." She sighed, before being started by an explosion of paint all over the craft table, previously stained by macaroni and glue. "I'll clean it up," Georgia said softly, rising to grab a wet dishcloth. She scrubbed the surface down until the only thing colorful was the rag, which looked tie-dyed different colors. hello my name is

When you feel my heat Look into my eyes It’s where my demons hide It’s where my demons hide
I feel the environment getting heavier and heavier. I was feeling really bad about ever bringing it up. I'm sitting there, unsure of what to say or do, then something hit me. There was no way for anyone to expect it coming, but I find the side of my shirt suddenly soaked in paint. I may have been a bit jittery from the men outside waiting for me to come out, but what I did next still happened with no apparent reason. My chair topples over as I launch myself from and my hand goes for the first thing that resembles a human. When I finally realized what was happening my palm was around Jason's throat, ready to squeeze the life out of him. As panic runs through me I drop my hand back to my side and retreat slowly backwards. My mouth was slowly mouthing the word 'sorry'.
I was a little hesitant of the men who may or may not be out there, but I still needed to make amends. I open the door for a quick check outside. It seemed clear enough. I still didn't want to go, but it needed to be done. "I'll take him to the infirmary." I say walking up to the blind man. "Is that alright?" Don’t get too close It’s dark inside It’s where my demons hide It’s where my demons hide

I felt a vice-like grip against my neck. I gasped for breath when it faded. " Im fine. I'm fine. Yeah the infirmary sounds like a good idea" I said. I allowed my self to be hauled out of the crafts shack towards the infirmary.
