Any words spoken by the daughter of Poseidon in recent events were quick and short, just like her temper. Kylee was more bitter than ever, due to a series of unfortunate events. Her beloved horse, Puzzle, has snagged herself on a twisted wire and gotten her wound infected. The horse was currently in critical condition, being treated by some of the Apollo children. She couldn't stand watching her friend wither away, so she would retreat to the frozen shoreline and take long walks, not minding the cold or her numb fingers.

Today was no different, trekking out along the shorelines with her arms crossed. Her black hair billowed behind her form as she went, the cold nipping at her ears. She was getting sick of camp, and wanted out. She didn't mind the winter, or the training sessions, but the people. Kylee couldn't stand any of them, knowing that they wouldn't accept her. Ever since the apocalypse, when Aiden, her friend was assumed one of the causes, no one wanted anything to do with her. Aiden was gone after that, and the girl was searching for him.

She knew it was a useless cause, but that didn't stop her from trying. The girl was seeking help from anyone who was willing to give it, but no one knew of him. Kylee felt like he had vanished off the face of the earth, leaving her in a worse mood than normal. Her seagreen eyes turned to the side, her hand on her sword. She could've sworn she had heard something. "Just the wind," Kylee muttered, running a slim hand through her hair.

Continuing on her way, the girl still felt like she was being watched. "Who's there?" Kylee burst, turning around. "I know someone's there," she continued, her tone shaky. The girl's mental health wasn't exactly stable, but she couldn't let that show. The demigod tried to keep her expression still as she searched the area for movement.

Frederich Dieter Klein

Frederich sighs and stares at the bottom of the bunk above his. Camp is just so boring this time of year, for starters the amount of campers is a lot less than normal. Secondly, he has never been a fan of winter so none of the winter activities interest him. Why can't it be Spring? It would be so much nice if it was spring. After a while of laying there, he finally gets off of his bunk. After stretching out his arms, he begins to take out his winter clothing. He pulls on a sweatshirt, and then a North Face over that. He then pulls some gloves over his hands. He jams his feet into a pair of boots, and leaves his cabin.

Frederich steps on the porch and is met by the harsh winter wind. He lets out a few swears, and nearly retreats back into his cabin, but he is stopped by the fact that he has not left it in two days, he needs to do something instead of just laying there. He then pulls his hood over his head and sets off. He walks through camp, not really paying attention to where he is going.

After a while Frederich winds up at the lake. As it is way too cold to sit down and enjoy the view, he decides to walk along the shore line of the lake. He soon realizes he is not the only who decided to walk along the shore line. However he is in a bad mood and he decides to not talk to the other person. Instead he bends his head down and continues to walk.

After a while he hears someone speaking and looks up. His eyes land on the girl in front of him. He then looks around to make sure there is not another person she could be talking to. Satisfied that he is the only other person, he looks at the girl. "Just me, Frederich"he yells over the sound of the wind, his german accent sounding very strong.

Her eyes followed towards the source of the sound, past boulders and trees to find another demigod. Kylee almost wished it had been a monster, they're easier to deal with. At least it's not frowned upon to threaten a monster, like she so often did to humans. The boy seemed familiar, in a strange sort of way, like she was supposed to know who he was. The name, his name rather, sounded familiar as well. Then it hit her, this was that son of Zeus, the 'perfect' one.

Kylee's dislike towards the boy, Frederich, almost doubled in that instant as she raised an eyebrow at him. "Did you just get here?" she asked sharply, crossing her arms. "You've got a strong accent." Letting her instincts take over, she evaluated the boy. He was attractive, obviously, just like most of Zeus' children. Muscular, most likely, the demigod wasn't really paying attention. At least, she was trying not to.

The girl had developed a way of attempting to ignore people, and pretend she didn't care what they thought. It was a difficult thing, but it kept her from getting hurt, most of the time.

Taking a few steps towards the boy, she let her hands hang by her sides. "What were you doing out here?" Kylee questioned. Golden boys, people that were seemingly perfect always had bothered her.
