Inside Cabin Eleven

Clover thought about that for a second then smiled.
"Sure, thank you." She grinned, looking up at him.

"Alright... Where do you want to start?" I ask, now registering how stupid it sounded. If she wanted a tour, she probably didn't know where anything was, or what it was called. "I mean, how about we start at... The beach?" I say gingerly, waiting for a response.

"There's a beach near here?" Clover asked, kind of surprised. From what she had surmised, taking a step beyond camp premises without your guard up was suicide for most demigods, but surely the beach wasn't within whatever barriers were keeping those monsters back.

"Yeah, it's pretty nice. On 4th of July they have a HUGE HUGE!' I make a big circle with my hands at this.'HUGE fireworks show. It's really nice." I say, grinning at her after this. "So, you want to go?" I ask, reaching over to take her hand and drag her out of the cabin.

Clover thought for a bit, then supposed that Maxx wouldn't be this confident if this beach wasn't within whatever defences they had.
"Sure. Lead the way." She answered, taking his hand and smiling.

I grin at the warm sensations of your skin against my, stopping in the doorway and deciding to do something bold. "Wait, forgot something." I saw, turning around on my heel and bending in for a kiss on Clover.

OOC: Do you want me to make a topic at the beach, cause this is just a public topic?

Clover jumped quite a bit when Maxx leaned down, and took a step back. And tripped on something quite spectacularly, with a bit of a backwords roll involved.
"I'm okay! I'm fine." She called, raising a thumbs up from her position on her back.

((OOC: Sure, once Clover's done being a lucky clutz.))

I opened my eyes at the un-wanted acrobatics, trying to stiffle a laugh. "That was quite the show, just to avoid me." I say, my smile fading. "See you around then."

Clover started sitting herself up, looking for what tripped her. She looked up at Maxx, and obtained a slightly sarcastic look.
"I'd rather get kissed by someone I know well. Also, lucky doesn't mean coordinated." She replied.

"I don't like hard to get. See you around." I tell her, starting to walk away from her. I walked a few meters, then looked back at her. "If your lucky, you would of landed in my arms or something." I joke, staring at her over my shoulder.

"Oh, you'll know if I try to play hard to get. I'm the worst actress in the world, I overplay to the maximum." Clover muttered, standing up. "Plus, I can't help having a problem with giving away my first kiss that easily." She added, even quieter.

I turn around, letting out a slight laugh. "Your first kiss, really? How old are you?" I ask, not moving back away from her anymore.

"I'm 15. And yeah, first kiss, anyone who tried was trying it that easily." Clover replied, dusting off her skirt. She couldn't help but think 'Just like all the ones before him, just a difference in style'.

(OOC: She's not really had proper relationship troubles. She's had something that has happened to me, somebody picking on her by pretend flirting with her.)

I looked at her kind of baffled, walking back to her. "Fine. We can try again, say... At the Summer Formal?" I ask her, grinning. "You know, I should of figured out your name from the shirt." I say before she can respond. It was stuck on there pretty good, and, I was looking there so much. Yeah, I admitted it.

"Huh, I'd wondered why you hadn't got it. It's pretty noticable, green on dark blue, so I wondered how you hadn't noticed." Clover replied, looking at the embroidery on her shirt. It hasn't entered her mind what him noticing it meant he was looking at.

"So, I'll meet you in Olympus then?" I ask, grinning slightly at my feigned arrogance.

Clover looked up, wide eyed and confused expression.
"The mountain that the greek gods lived-- live on? Surely that's not real too." She replied, very confused, because they knew what mountain the greeks had believed Olympus was on, people had climbed it and it wasn't there.

"You don't know? Are you new?' I joke, letting out a small laugh at that. Just enough to signal it was a joke, but not enough to signal I was some loser who has to laugh at his own jokes.'The formal is gonna be on Olympus. I've been their twice. It's very nice. Don't worry, we only lose a few campers to then." I tell her, hearing thunder boom overhead. "Joking. Joking." I say, well shaking my head.

"Now, stop avoiding the question. Do you want to go to the formal with me? Don't worry, I've been rejected before. I can take it." I ask her. I hope she says yes. She seemed like a nice enough girl. Seemed. That's screwed me over more then once.

"Oh, sure. Sorry for dodging, I didn't realise I was." Clover answered, laughing nervously. She couldn't help but keep wondering about something.
"So, is it taking place in GREECE, or did the gods move and just call wherever they are now Olympus?" She asked, trying not to make a confused at the mental image of the greek gods living in an apartment block somewhere in Queens or Brooklyn.

"They live on the Empire State Building. Mount Olympus - The mountain - is located up there. It hovers above the building, and most of the gods live there. You see, the western civilization has been moving across the world. Greece, Rome, those places. It spent quite a lot of time in England, then moved on to here. If you look close enough, you can see all the Olympus Inspired things in America." I inform her, smiling slightly. I had recited that from the Book some Athena kid had published. "And, you should probably go see some Aphrodite kid for a dress. Just a suggestion." I tell her, nodding. I couldn't decide between a suit or a suit with one of those T-Shirts with a suit on it.

You can practically see the lightbulb appear above Clover's head.
"Oh, yeah." She gasped, realising just how many buildings in america looked a bit greek. She nodded when he mentioned the Aphrodite kids, remembering that Aphrodite was the goddess of love, possibly beauty as well.
"When is the formal?" She asked.

I glance over towards Lizzie, deciding it would be better not to cause any trouble. Besides, I barely knew Clover. Why would I stand up for her? Too cliche for my likings. "27th. Think we are gonna get there by van, but, maybe we could borrow some limos. I don't know how that would look thought, a bunch of kids coming from a strawberry farm in gowns and suits." I ponder, laughing mentally at the picture of a limo driver with a confused expression on his face.

"A-team van or transit? Sorry, had to be made." Clover replied, grinning and giggling. She looked at Lizzie once her, admittedly by me horrible, joke was done, and thought for a moment.
"I don't think I can wear perfu--. Wait, nevermind, it's my stepdad who's asthmatic." She stated, being so used to being around her stepdad, she'd never worn perfume or anything that smelled strongly like that and had basically forgotten she could.

I smiled at her humour, actually quite confused though. I had never really found a interest in The A-Team, partially because it was never on... It was like from the 80's, right? "Like, A-Team Vans. With 'Delphi Strawberrry Service' on the side." I explain, thinking about how cramped it would be. Some dresses would get ruined.
