| Moon's Adoption Thread; Basically, I post the characters, you like them, and turn them into active characters that I can see role playing. I love my characters, remember that. I don't want to delete any of them, so certain ones I'm proud of go here. Do not make me regret giving them to you. I will probably only give certain ones to certain people if I'm especially attached, but y'know, anything's possible. Please don't dramatically change them, like making a calm character into a psychopathic one. Other than that, here they are.

| violet molly Carlyleinsert clever thing here yay Name: Violet Molly Carlyle, but she prefers Violet or Vi Gender: Female Age: Vi is seventeen Birthday: She was born on December 11th Godly Parent: Nyx, the Goddess of Night Claimed: Yes Years at Camp: Four years now Mortal Family: Harold Carlyle [Father]: An avid writer, Harold (or Harry, as he prefers) resided in New York when he met the Greek Night Goddess. He wrote on his experiences with the woman, and it ended up being a best seller. Harry didn't expect his love to vanish before the book came out in stores, which left him lost for muse and inspiration. Violet came into his life a month later, which only brought more challenges for him. The writer's ideas were drawing slim as he had to fight to get the necessary things for his baby girl. Eventually, Harry had to give Vi up for adoption, because he couldn't juggle her and his life at the same time. However, he intends to find her again one day. "I don't know much about my dad. I think he had something to do with the arts though, because I mean... I'm into that kind of stuff, but who knows? I've read a lot, but I don't think I've ever read any of my dad's work. How could I when I don't know him? For all I know, he could be dead..." Miss York [Adopted Mother]: Miss York was an older woman when she took Violet in, but she loved the girl with all of her heart. Jeanie York was old enough to be her grandmother, and treated her much like any caring old woman would. Vi knew that if anyone could convince her to keep going on with whatever inspired her, it would be the frail knitter she had come to know and love. "Miss York? She was basically my savior at that point. I was about nine, I think, and she took me in. At first I didn't think it was going to work because she was older than most who adopted, but Jeanie was the kindest thing ever. She taught me loads more than I could ever imagine, and I owe her a lot. " Brief History: "Born somewhere, then brought to an orphanage. That's all I really know about the beginning of my lifetime, but I think my dad kept me for a while. The orphan matron said I was a little bit older than most newborns that were brought in, so he must have at least tried to keep me. I don't blame him, I mean, demigods aren't really amazing children, are we? "
Birth - 5 years Harry really tried to take care of young Violet from the moment she was placed on his steps. No note, but he knew that the girl with curly blonde hair like his could only be a child that was meant for him. Try as he may, Violet proved too difficult to handle, expenses were too expensive and he couldn't handle a child and a job at the same time. 6 years - 10 years Violet couldn't remember her dad, even though she tried several times when she was young to even think of his name, or face. Nothing came out of it, nor would anything ever. She was placed in an orphanage at the age of one, and spent eight long years there. She spent more of her time reading, drawing or writing. The kids at the orphanage made fun of her for wishing to live in fantasies that couldn't possibly be real. Violet was starting to believe them, until she got adopted. 11 years - 15 years Violet was wary of Miss York for the first year she lived with her, thinking that the old woman was just in need of company. In truth, she was right, but the demigod needed a friend too. Jeanie York proved to be one of her greatest and most loyal friends as she was growing up, and Vi wouldn't have asked for a better guardian. Miss York taught her how to knit, sew, cook, and be mature with the decisions that life throws at you. All was going well until the elderly woman had a stroke, when the girl was thirteen. Violet thought her life was over, with her most trusted friend in the hospital and her grades plummeting lower than usual. To her relief, Jeanie pulled out of her condition quickly, but wasn't fit for watching over the demigod anymore. Vi was supposed to go back to the orphanage, but decided to sneak away instead, and landed herself in Camp Half Blood. 16 years - now Violet didn't like camp at first, or even three years after she arrived. The girl wasn't like most of her other siblings, who were dark and mysterious. She didn't have dark hair or eyes, or even anything Nyx about her. Vi looked like more of an Athena girl, if anything, and felt like she couldn't possibly change herself to fit in more, or at all. She is slowly accepting the fact that she can't change, and she won't either. Appearance: "I don't think I have a very night-goddess look to me do I? Trust me, I've heard the whole lot of it."
Violet knows she doesn't look like most Nyx kids, or any of them really. She looks like more of a bright eyed school girl than a mysterious one. The demigod is quite tall though, with long slim legs. Her skin is normally pale, but tans nicely in the summertime. She has a scar from a biking accident when she was ten, right above her left knee. It's rather noticeable, which makes the girl shy to wear anything shorter than knee-length. The girl's hair is long and wavy, much like that of any California surfer girl's. She has curls of blonde and amber circling her heart-shaped face. Violet often keeps her hair naturally curly, or braids it if she wants to appear more socially acceptable. Kids at the orphanage would make fun of her for just about anything, especially her appearance. The girl's eyes are a deep blue color, similar to the sky before the sun completely sets over the horizon. Her eyes go from rings of dark blue, to a lighter sky color. Violet wouldn't stand out in any crowd, unless you counted her lioness like hair. She usually wears normally clothing, with jeans and a sweatshirt on winter days. In the summer, graphic tees and shorts with flip flops meet her needs just fine. Personality: "I don't think most people know, because I'm really shy. Not one to start a conversation, easily slipping into the background, yeah that's me!"
The girl isn't known by many, due to the fact that she fears contact with most, thinking they will simply leave her like her father did, or even Miss York. Violet is hesitant to make friends, knowing from her fairy tales that even make believe people can be violent liars. She assumes that the general population is just like that. Some people could call it being judgmental, but Vi calls it being cautious and selective. However, if friends are made, the girl will prove most loyal. York taught her well, to be a dedicated and amazing friend to those who prove worthy of trust. Violet can also be funny, if she chooses to be, but it's often in a soft and secretive way. Arguing isn't her strong suit, but the girl could hold up her end of a word battle any day, with her vast vocabulary. Fatal Flaw: "Heroes have flaws, but I'm not exactly that,"
Violet is extremely loyal to her friends and those who earn her trust. She also downgrades herself, but loyalty takes its hold first. Pet:A small tabby cat named Jack, that belonged to Miss York. Talents:*Darkness - Violet can produce darkness at her will, and create a shadow around herself. She doesn't use it much because it drains her of energy. Weapons: "I fight with my bow and arrows... not really impressive, but close combat isn't my thing,"
Vi fights with her crossbow, which is made of celestial bronze, painted dark purple. Her arrows are occasionally dipped in poison, but not often. Other: Violet looks like Taylor Swift layout and graphics (c) sapphire I didn't really like Violet, to be honest. But I think she would be a nice beginner character for someone who is new to roleplaying. She's pretty black and white, and easy to understand. So, she won't cost you anything, and if you want her, take her. I'll PM you information if you ask for her.

| hunter ross west Sprinting away from August, the demigod resisted a cruel laugh. He had stopped to catch his breath, and left his step brother in the dust. Stepping just over the hill, Hunter's eyes widened. "Oh my god!" he burst, staring in awe at the camp that lay before him. Once August did catch up, they decided to investigate. Little did they know that they had wandered into their new home. Name: Hunter Ross West, and he goes by Hunter Gender: Male Age: He's sixteen Birthday: Hunter's birthday is April 12th Godly Parent: Ares, the God of War and Blood lust Claimed: Yes Years at Camp: Two years Mortal Family: Rebecca West [Mother]: Rebecca was a rebellious young woman when she met Ares. She was the type to get drunk on weekends and not care what happened to herself. Until Hunter came along, things then got very different. Becca had to settle down and get a job to pay the bills of their tiny apartment. She didn't talk much, or expect much of her son. She simply loved him, more or less, always. Rebecca tried to keep Hunter under control, and his temper down. That never worked. He got in trouble at school ever since he was young, and they were constantly moving. They finally settled down in L.A. Hunter was eleven, and Becca met Jack. Jack West, to be exact, the end of Hunter and the beginning of a new last name. She loved him dearly, but it wasn't the same reaction from Hunter. " Mom? She used to be great. Cookies every Saturday morning, no matter where we were. It seemed like we were always moving, but she didn't ever mind. She told me that she used to be a rebel, but I changed that. Ha, sure, what ever. She had issues, still does, I mean, she married Jack. Ew," Jack West [Step Father]: Hunter didn't know much about Jack when he first met him, at all. He never took the time to learn anything about him either. He just knew that he didn't like him. Jack seemed to passive and easy going. Not only that, but he ruined their usual cookie ritual. He had a son, named August, which was another thing Hunter learned to hate quickly about his new life in the West family. " Jack, what a pansy. He was so nice, too dang nice. He seemed to want to be my friend, isn't that so... creepy? The last thing I want is to be friends with my step-dad, oh gross, " August West [Step Brother]: August is a seventeen year old son of Demeter. Hunter didn't know it at the time, of course, but he still didn't like him. The demigod knew that August was different, and tried to take advantage of him. He never really did anything wrong, but that was the reason that Hunter hated him so, and still does. August was always kind and easy - going, while Hunter was the opposite, being harsh and irrational. "August? Even his name sounds stupid. Who would name their kid that? Oh, right, Jack. See? They are all so... stupid. I mean, he never did anything wrong. No, he was a sweet innocent teenager. *makes a face* Have you ever even heard of a teenager like that?! It's not normal, not right! August was a wimp, still is, always spending time with girls. I mean, hey, I like girls, but I'm not going to make friends with them, if you catch my drift. " Brief History: "Didn't I just explain my history to ya? No... seriously? Stupid... whatever. Okay, so My mom had a thing with Ares, hooray, okay, sure. She stopped being fun after that, and started being a mom. I wasn't the best kid, but she could've cared less, really. We moved all the time, because well, I beat kids up all the time. They deserved it too, talking trash about me, just because I didn't learn as fast as they did. I think they deserved it... but the principal always sided with them. When I was eleven, we lived in L.A, just mom and me. Until she met Jack. They got married, and I got a new last name... oh and a step brother. August, remember? Goody - two shoes, almost a girl? Yeah, him. I got sick of them real quick, and ran away when I was 13. I didn't care that mom would miss me. I couldn't stand being picked on for sharing the name with that pansy. I beat up more kids, and my mom started yelling at me, for once. I got angry, and almost... hit her. Anyways, I ran, and August followed me. We came across camp after he learned about his dumb flower powers,"
Birth - 5 years Hunter had a nice childhood, with just his mother. They were happy to be with each other, and it seemed like nothing could go wrong. The demigod was headstrong, and didn't like sharing or listening, but Becca assumed it was just normal. She never would've guessed how Hunter would grow up, hurting people all the time. None the less, Rebecca took care of her child like any mother would, with love and compassion. 6 years - 10 years
As Hunter began to go to school, he was picked on by the other kids. Due to dyslexia, he couldn't learn as quickly as the other kids. The demigod got angered by the mortal children, and would take his anger out on the playground. The principal's office began sadly familiar to him, and he got expelled at all of the schools he went to. His mother didn't bother trying to contain him either, knowing that he could, and would lash out on her if he wanted to. Hunter didn't see his mother as a threat, and liked her, finding her alright. After going through six schools since he started his schooling, they decided to move to L.A. 11 years - now
Once they moved to L.A., Rebecca met Jack. Within the next six months, those two were married. Hunter hated Jack, and his new step-brother, August. He found the two annoying, and rather misleading. The demigod knew that they were soft, and often tried to boss around August. To his dismay, the older boy simply ignored him and hung out with his friends. Oh, that's another thing that bothered Hunter. August hung out with girls almost all the time, but in a friendly way. Slightly jealous, he assumed he was unloved, the boy left. He was done with Jack distracting his mother, and August being a soft idiot. As Hunter ran, he didn't realize that his step brother was following him. With two demigods unprotected, monsters quickly discovered them. As the ventured across the country, fighting monsters and hiding, they eventually came to camp. Ever since then, Hunter has tried to avoid the son of Demeter. He's been to busy breaking hearts and training to care. Appearance: "I'm hot, what more do you need to know?"
Hunter takes great pride in his appearance, for obvious reasons. He stands at 5'10", and is very well muscled. With a six pack in the summer time, you shouldn't wonder why he goes to the beach so often. He is naturally tan, and his skin only gets darker in the summertime. In the Winter, he wears a dark green coat, jeans, tennis shoes, and plain shirts. He usually dresses simply, unless he is going on a date or something else that needs a formal attire. Hunter's face is something he takes great pride in.He was a well chiseled face, blemish free, and just as tan as the rest of him. His eyes are a dark, almost cruel brown color, hidden by bushy eyebrows. His smile is almost a sneer, unless is is genuine, which is a rare thing. His hair is thick and bushy, and occasionally is curly. Hunter occasionally will use hair products to style his hair, but finds his hair to be to thick for any sprays or gels to help. The demigod can't be found without his phitan necklace around his neck, holding his weapon in disguise. Personality: "I am awesome, simply awesome,"
Hunter loves himself. He thinks that he is the best thing that happened to this Earth, and loves himself. He doesn't mind picking on kids, and considers it fun to be on the other side of the battle. He can dish out insults quickly, and often does. Arguing his his strong suit, and he loves it. Rage and yelling, it all makes his adrenaline go through the roof. The demigod is a bit of an adrenaline junkie, and loves to do crazy things. Sky-diving is definitely on his bucket list, and he plans to achieve it. He can't wait to he old enough to get a tattoo by himself, and do other sorts of crazy stupid things. Around people, he is a jerk. Not caring about other people's emotions, but judging them by their appearance and heritage, Hunter just goes with the flow. He is lazy, for the most part, doing only what he wants when he wants. The boy is also a compulsive liar, being able to lie with ease. When angered, Hunter isn't someone you want to meet. He was be even more vile, cruel, and vicious. The demigod doesn't care who he hurts, as long as it hurt them good. He loves making people remember him, just not in the right way. Rage, Adrenaline, and Popularity keep this son of Ares going. Fatal Flaw:Hunter thinks too much of himself, and has extreme self - loyalty. He also has anger issues, and is extremely stubborn. Pet: "You seriously think I have a pet? Wow,"
None Talents: "I have more than you might think, "
* Weaponry - Hunter can pick up any weapon and know how to use it to the best of his abilities, although he prefers his sword. * Strength - From constantly training all the time, Hunter has quiet the arm. He is strong, to say the least. * Flirting - He adores girls, especially cute ones, and loves flirting with them. He has a strong belief that he can get any girl he wants, whenever. Weapons: "I can fight with anything, can't you tell?"
Hunter can fight with anything really, do to his father's powers, but often chooses to fight with a 3 and a half foot sword, made of celestial bronze. When it isn't in use, the sword it a black and white phitan necklace. Other: Play By - Graham Phillips layout and graphics (c) sapphire Hunter, eh. Well I didn't really like him either, that's why he's here. The guy's a basic Ares kid, and would probably be an okay beginner character if you wanted an angry popular kid. He won't cost you anything either. I'll PM you the information if you ask for him.

| Anastasia Lousie BelaireA small French girl walked through camp's borders, an arrogant smirk floating on her face. Finally, a place away from tutors, and isolation. Eying over the vast campus, she set down her suitcase, tired from the drag up. She assumed to fit in here, only to leave a short year later, to join Imperium instead of the worn, old-fashioned camp. Name: Anastasia Louise Belaire, will go by her full name, or Belaire Gender: Female Age: She is sixteen years old Birthday: February 1rst Godly Parent: Dionysus, the God of Wine and Drunkenness Claimed: Yes Years at Camp: One, before she moved to Imperium Mortal Family: Olivia Belaire [Mother]: Olivia was a drunk college girl when she met Dionysus. Needless to say, alcohol does strange things to ones' mind. She moved to Pau, a city in France, after her college, and realized she was pregnant. Olivia knew that she didn't have any other family members to support her and the new child, and had no other choice but to start slow with a job. The only hard part was getting one. Now, Olivia was a beautiful young woman, and while walking by a fashion magazine's head quarters, she was discovered. They offered to take some small shots, just from the head up, to see how she reacted. She was an instant beauty, and they offered her a contract, despite the fact that she was pregnant. After having Anastasia, she continued with her work. Olivia was constantly busy, leaving her daughter plenty of time to decide who she was going to be. "Oh, mummy, dearest mum, hm? Well, she may have a pretty face, but I personally think her social skills are slim to none. All my mum needed was a pretty face, and that's all she really has. Me? Nah, she doesn't have me. Why do you think I left? She is still having way to much fun trying to convince other French girls to become young twits. I hope I never become anything like her," Brief History: "Er, didn't you hear enough of that? My mum, the model, didn't really give me any advice because she was too busy showing the rest of the world how to look, make sense? Not really, when she cares only about herself and lost me along the way to fame,"
Birth - 5 years Anastasia spent much over her younger years hiding from the public eye, being watched by only nannies, who didn't last longer than a month at the most. Olivia was busy traveling to fashion shows world-wide, and couldn't properly raise her daughter. She wouldn't be shown the world, only the streets of Pau, her hometown, and the only town she would see until she was fourteen years old. She seemed normal at a young age, which would slowly change as she aged. 6 years - 10 years The little girl was taught privately, by a tutor. She saw her mother occasionally, usually for lunch or just before she went to bed, once a week. Anastasia didn't see hardly any children, unless it was at a park, in which she would have a nanny closely watching. She was very guarded, until she began to grow a personality. The demigod would argue with her nannies, and cause them to have mutual feelings towards her. Little did they know this was because of her godly parent. 11 years - 15 years Anastasia was becoming hard to deal with as she aged, arguing, and wanting to leave more then ever. She didn't like never seeing her mother, or the light of day. Sure, the demigod was living large, but it was hardly a life she wanted to live. The large house that contained her seemed to empty, even with her mother in it. She wanted out. Anastasia would refuse to do her schoolwork, or even eat. She wanted to slowly force her mother to do something, or at least to listen to her. Olivia decided to tell the demigod of her father after she turned fourteen, when the pair moved to the United Kingdom for her modeling work. Anastasia couldn't even look at her mother, knowing she had kept this secret from her for so long. 16 years - now Anastasia was moved to Camp Half Blood shortly after her mother moved to England. She quickly decided that she didn't like the camp, which is when she heard about Imperium. Determined to start her own life, by herself, she decided to join the guild of demigods. Appearance: " My mom is a model, and you ask that?"
Anastasia is a pretty girl, obviously the offspring of the gods and a beautiful human. She has bleach-blonde hair, that is straight and simply. It flows to her mid-back, and often stays there, without any fancy hairstyles. Her eyes are a hazel color, with a mix of dark green and chocolate brown. She also has speckles of blue in her eyes. Anastasia will dress up her face with mascara and eyeliner occasionally, if she feels like putting effort into herself. She stands at 5'6", with a slim body frame. Her skin is a fair color, that tans in the summertime. Anastasia dresses herself in plain clothes, choosing jeans ans sweatshirts over dresses and lace. Personality: "I'm a normal, irresponsible teenager. Rude, arrogant, misunderstood, pretty much ,"
Anastasia is a very blunt person, and doesn't like describing herself more than necessary, especially to those that she opposes. She isn't your average, happy-go-lucky child of Dionysus. No, she is far different. She is blunt, and loves to play hard to get, for both boys and friends. She thinks that if someone wants to know her, they best know and respect what they are up against. She plays a deadly mind game with her powers, which make people have a bad tendency to despise her. The demigod is also very clever, even when she comes off as a rude, arrogant girl. She knows this very well, and uses it for her own pleasure. Anastasia doesn't always mean to come off so harshly, but gets a kick out of toying with people's mind. She also tries to be strictly independent, and not need anyone. Being able to understand her regal attitude, and accepting that she thinks she is higher than everyone else, can't be easy. Anastasia also has deadly pride, and will not back down from an argument once it's started. Fatal Flaw: "What kind of question is that even,"
Anastasia is a prideful girl, and will never back down from anything, even if it costs her life. Pet:None Talents: "Let's just say I can play my little mind games when I want too,"
*Emotions - Being the daughter of madness, she can influence the emotions of others, and even drive them into insanity. No cases have gone that far yet, but if she felt like it, Anastasia could drive people to the edge. Weapons: "Eh, weapons, they aren't really interesting,"
Anastasia fights with throwing stars for longer distance fighting, and a sharp, celestial bronze dagger for hand-to-hand contact. Other: Play By - Erin Wagner layout and graphics (c) sapphire Anastasia might be a little more difficult to role play with, so be careful before you say you want her. I'm sure you could handle her, but she's such a girl, and changes her mind a lot. I wouldn't really mind seeing her taking a different direction in life, so if you want someone to turn crazy, here, take her haha. Anyways, she will be a 100 drachmas if you want her. I'll PM you the information if you want her.
