| Okay so guys, I really really want to do this dance. I've even messaged the choreographer on youtube to ask for permission and she said to go right ahead. I've wanted to do this dance for like 6 months now, it's just amazing omg. This dance in particular is perfect for a middle school talent show, maybe a slightly more modest costume change, but that can be fixed. The dance is roughly 2 minutes and 45 seconds, the song is appropriate, and the choreography is intense enough to guarantee our entry into the talent show. It's perfect. I'm doing two dances with two friends, and here's the problem. The first girl, Alex, is set on doing some sort of choreography to dubstep or intense music. The second girl, Meghan, has already choreographed the dance, but I haven't learned it yet. I have a better chance with Meghan, but I don't want to hurt her feelings if I say, 'we should try this dance for the talent show' WHAT DO I DO OMG. btw here's the dance it starts at 1:00 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-7DS2c93Mk | |

| My advice is to be honest with your friends. See if there is a way to compromise. When I have something difficult to tell someone, I usually start with, "this is difficult for me to say because-" This puts you in a vulnerable poisition. Now your friends can see that you may be uncomfortable, but it usually lets them know that you are being open and honest. Listen to their reasoning and desires. This is a group effort, and all three should have equal imput. | |
